    Probably contaminated cart

    carts are probably contaminated with pesticides it didn't feel or taste right. For the price it was 10$ for a cartridge. Probably fake unregulated or unlicensed carts for the low. my lungs hurt after a few puffs. Taste, was just metallic or unfamiliar to me. The high was off. those carts hurt me.

For context, I managed a dispensary in Modesto for three years (that had 3 locations at the time) and oversaw multiple divisions, so I'm familiar with dispensary operations and customer service expectations. I've continued to support Flavors over the years simply because I respect the owner and the way he chooses to run his business. I almost always place mobile orders because I prefer to minimize my time in the store. Unfortunately, the online menu is frequently inaccurate or not updated, so I often have to leave notes requesting the product I actually want. Today, I placed a mobile order and arrived approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes later. My order still had not been picked. Since an employee was going to the product area to retrieve my item anyway, I politely asked if I could purchase a second one. Manager Grace repeatedly told me no because it "wouldn't be fair to the people behind me." I respectfully disagree with that reasoning. My order had been placed over an hour earlier and should have already been prepared according to the site. Had the online menu been accurate, I would have ordered two from the beginning. Instead, because the menu wasn't updated and my order wasn't ready, I was told I couldn't make a simple adjustment while an employee was already retrieving the item. What made the interaction especially frustrating was that the explanation felt unnecessarily rigid and controlling rather than customer-focused, as it should have been. I genuinely can't understand how asking for a second identical item, while an employee will already need to walk to the exact same location to retrieve one, would have any impact on the customers behind me. It wasn't adding another stop or creating extra work; it was simply allowing a customer to purchase an additional item that was already needing to be retrieved. In fact, allowing me to purchase a second item would have meant the store made a larger sale while requiring virtually no additional effort. I'm not asking for special treatment, which Grace said I was. I'm questioning why a customer who placed a mobile order well in advance, and whose order wasn't ready as promised, isn't allowed to add another identical item while the employee is already at the same product location. Saying it "isn't fair to the people behind me" doesn't make any sense in this situation, especially when the delay originated with the store, not me, the customer. I've always enjoyed supporting Flavors, which is why this interaction was particularly disappointing. Better communication and understanding from management, a more accurate online menu, and a willingness to provide just reasonable customer service would have made this a completely different experience. Do better with hiring please.

Everyone inside seems pretty knowledgable. At times when they don't have what I'm looking for in stock, the budtenders would offer alternative suggestions which is awesome because it also helps me explore other brands that I'm not familiar with. I was looking for an alternative gummy brand that provides an energetic boost & I was recommended a Heavy Hitters brand (Lights On - it's definitely money!) and when I was looking for something with CBG in it, I was recommended Good Tide (which also did the trick). So I now know which products I can use as a back up. Being from the bay area, the pricing here is better, which only adds to the reasons I like coming here. From the exchanging fist pumps with welcoming security to shooting the S with the friendly staff inside the building. And to top it off, I'm typically in and out within 5-10 minutes, eazy peazy. My go-to's are the Camino and Kanha gummies, along with the PBR canibuss seltzers and Not Your Father soda drinks. The last couple of people that helped me were Terrance and Kiowa, but honestly, no matter who is working on the days I go, it's always a pleasure. Cheers!

First off, shoutout to the front desk attendant--calm, patient, and professional even when things weren't going perfectly smooth. I placed my order ahead of time and showed up about 15 minutes early (yes, I know... optimism got the best of me). The employee helping me was super nice, but my order wasn't picked yet, and my strain was playing hide-and-seek on the wall. She went to the back to look, and that's when my heart sank because I knew the clock was ticking and the road was calling my name. I waited a few more minutes, but eventually had to go up front and ask if we could cancel that strain and just grab anything available so I could get moving. Enter Mike. Like a hero walking out of the back room at the perfect moment. This man scans the vape wall and--boom--finds the exact Raw Garden I wanted. The timing? Immaculate. Mike jumped in, helped fix the order, and kept everything moving without missing a beat. Was it the smoothest online pickup experience? Not quite. But what really stood out was the teamwork. Everyone covered down, communicated, and made sure I walked out happy--and that counts way more in my book. Beautiful store, solid vibes, and employees who actually care about the customer experience. I was glad to stop by and support another Embarc location. If I could suggest anything: a little more organization on the product walls and a smoother game plan for online orders. Other than that, I'll definitely be back next time I'm passing through. I was told that I had become "emotional" about a month ago about a delivery to an incorrect address (despite my having made sure the address I had clarified WAS correct). I have been treated terribly by them since and have decided to sever ties with Trees, and subsequently received this text in response from the main manager- "Actually your the one that mistreated this business, M- and R-. They placed a bad review against you. You didn't answer us that day and ordered from a different dispensary. You are rude and not considerate to this business and our other patients and drivers. We will not regret not having you. Bye!" (and there was an emoji of two finger giving the peace-out sign). It was confirmed to me that I have been a customer over 100 times. They knew my address. Don't regret having them. Skip Trees. (for the record, I always tipped, always had a smile and conversation with the delivery guys, and the man who used to answer the phone). I was a good customer - and I only ordered from the aforementioned different dispensary after they delivered to the wrong address and blamed me for it.
