Walking in the smell of heaven just slapped me in my face and I was transported back in time to what I say was a perfect little bakery .... every where you turned there was a new and exciting piece of deliciousness to drool over. They offered free chocolate cherry butter cookies which were divine!!!!! I didn't purchase any because my focus was on the cake (& on the donuts and dog treats that mysteriously were in my hands when I left lol). There were so many options for cake that in order to wind my decision down I asked the employee what their top cakes were and based on his reply I decided to go with the Strawberry Shortcake ... which was hands down the best I've ever had! It had those delightful "crunchies" the Good Humor strawberry shortcake ice cream bars have which made the cake out of this world! The donuts were massive and so fun! Unique options like the fruity pebbles and froot loops donuts made everyone in the office smile. I could go on and on but since I'll be back and back and back again I can save the rave for future visits. Oh and the employee .... AMAZING!!!! He was so patient and helpful and friendly. (an Irish guy from Scranton) Called up, extremely helpful over the phone, walked me through exactly what I wanted, and took all recommendations from them. I picked up the cake on the day it was scheduled; there was an error- they actually made the cake much bigger than what we discussed... nonissue. My girlfriend's family is from Philadelphia and they are all Puerto Rican, and I was warned that no one can make a great Tres Leche cake, and it will not be authentic!!!.... to all of our surprise, the cake was loved by all! A couple we know brought a beautiful high (many layers) vanilla-vanilla birthday cake to a private after party we attended last night. I didn't snap a photo because I don't know them that well and didn't want to scare them, lol! The cake was beautifully iced and boasted really pretty cursive. A bit tricky to slice ... ABSOLUTELY DEEEELICIOUS! Super fresh cake with light buttercream icing that titillated the taste buds ! I was trying to think of whose birthday in my circle was next because Im a goin' !!!
