The philly cheesesteaks here are so good! Totally satisfied my cravings. A bit pricey, but the portion sizes are large. I also ordered fries and added the cheese whiz. Not a huge fan of the whiz, but the fries were good. The parking lot is kind of odd and really fills up around lunchtime. But you can call and place an order ahead of time for pickup. read more

This place is well deserved a 5 stars rating. The bread was definitely great, that's the best about the place. Most places that serves philly cheese steak but usually with hard/crunchy bread which I cannot stand. Philly Ya Belly serves very fresh and very soft bread, they practically can melt in your mouth! I visited the place twice already and of course there will be third and so forth, no question. I'll be honest: I don't see what the big deal is. Maybe it's because I've had a proper cheese steak in Philadelphia, or maybe it was the people running the place. In the end, the experience is just so-so. I went with two other co-workers, and each of us ended up with lunch for about $14. For that we each got a cheese steak, fries, and a drink. The steak was OK, the bun was store-bought. They charge for refills on soda (or after the first one, I can't remember). I get that it's supposed to be street food, but it seems a bit pricey for what you get. Customer service is poor. As I mentioned above, each person in my group ordered a sandwich, fries, and a drink. They forgot to bring one of the fry orders, and got defensive when we asked about it's whereabouts. Good thing I kept my receipt. read more

Huge buns, stuffed with meat and cheese! Need I say more? I love cheesesteak sandwiches and I've noticed a couple lying around Seattle, but I've only been to PYB (twice). I'll have to check out the others to see how PYB's compares. Regardless, it's definitely worth the trip up to Everett to get a taste of this meaty sandwich. Delicious! Lots of variation of sandwiches. Large portions. Good fries. Very clean especially bathrooms. Fountain or bottled drink options. Small cheese steak was plenty for a hungry eater. Omg!! First time here and we loved it. I dont understand all the fuss about needing to change the bread. I suppose its just preference because we loved the soft bread! I've been coming here with my family for years and I have never had an experience that wasn't 5 stars. The employees are always very friendly and helpful and my food is always delicious. Since this place was purchased from the sweet older couple that used to own it, the quality of the food has been pretty well the same and consistently good. Tonight was a different story. The meat was a gristle-fest and both of my $6.00 (each) orders of onion rings were burned and only had about 4 rings in each container. I'm hoping this is a one-off experience. Clean place and very friendly staff,that is why it sucks to only be able to give two stars. The food was just awful. Anyone who knows their way around a cheese steak knows that the bread needs to be both firm and soft. The rolls here can't even come close to holding up the Copious amount of fillings. You can tell that the peppers are not cooked with the steak and the steak itself was bland and lifeless. New bread and someone who knows how to season a Philly properly and this place will take right off. I wish them the best because they seem like nice hard working people. read more

Despite a few minor things, this place is now my new go to place to get a Philly cheesesteak in Everett. I ordered both Cheesesteak deluxe + Peppers and Onions Cheesesteak; both belly busters... Let me say, they are truly belly busters. I could only finish half of one. I got to say though, from the half I ate, it has full on flavor unlike other places. If you're wondering why I gave it fours stars, keep on reading. The four stars is for the price and there's no light (or I couldn't find it in the ladies' restroom.) I mean paying nearly $10 is a little much. And I would prefer it to be around $5 or even $6. Anyways for the restroom situation, I should have asked first. Nice staff, but the cheese steaks were just average. While my cheese steak was very big and filling, the overall flavor was pretty bland. The bread, unlike some other places I have tried, was actually ok. Again, not particularly a bad tasting sandwich, but not that great of a cheesesteak. Amazing cheesesteaks! The meat is seasoned and cooked perfectly, the cheese nice and melty. The thing that stood out the most for me was the Italian roll that the sandwich was made with. I found this place through Yelp (as I do most of my favorite places, thanks Yelpers!). I never had a "Philly" cheesesteak, so I cannot compare, but I have had a few cheesesteaks from other places locally, and I can say that this is the best cheesesteak I have ever had. I have had about 5 from here since I found them, and every one of them were excellent! I did have the cheese fries the first time, they were basically shoestring potatoes with cheese whiz. Really great place. I had never heard of it before finding it on Yelp and I'm glad I did. It was delicious. I got a regular sized philly and my boyfriend got a belly buster. They were both HUGE. We also got a garlic cheese fries to share. The garlic cheese fries were okay, I was kind of expecting more. They were just regular string fries. And they were SUPER garlic-y. I love garlic but it took me a few bites to adjust to the heavy garlic taste. Steak fries would be better.
