My new office location is in a Bermuda Triangle of restaurants. Nothing around but Mexican joints. Now, I loves me some Mexican fare but my tastebuds want variety, need variety....crave variety. Philly's had the best scores in the neighborhood so I had to check them out. Inside and outside seating, order at the counter, cheap prices and good sized lunch menu. This will do. With a name like Philly's, I had to start with the cheese steak. It was good all around but a natch below my favorite places like John's Philly Grill and Philly's Best in the OC. The bread was good, but not the authentic rolls I'm used to. The meat and veggies were also good, not perfect. It was a very serviceable sandwich, though and the fries were piping hot and fresh. Very friendly service from the counter staff will also keep me coming back to try the extensive menu.

They were kind enough to accomodate our dietary needs and were able to make the cheeseburger protein style (no buns). The zucchini fries are a must order item!! The food was delicious and prepared to order. Everything was fresh!! Would definitely come here again!

This place is a little hidden Gem. You have to come here and try the Bibimbap it is soooooooooooooooo good. I tried bibimbap for the first time ever and now I'm hooked. I changed the rice for veggies and not because it doesn't go good with rice but because I'm trying to slim down. You have to. One and try the bibimbap here you will not regret it or be disappointed. It was sooo good I had it for 5 days straight for lunch. read more

When I was looking for a place to get a good "Philly' type sandwich for the first time, I visited this place. It was really good, and just a step or two short of the original you'll find on the east coast -PA. The second time I went, I got food poisoning so, yeah, it took a few years before I was comfortable enough to visit again. Well, they say, 'the third time's a charm,' and it was. I enjoyed the chicken philly, and so far, can still say that it is the closest that I have had to the original. The guy that took my order was nice, and he mentioned that he "remembered" me, and made my sandwich just perfectly. The restaurant is clean, and presentable. I look forward to my next visit. read more

Food was not the best. I got the mushroom Philly and it lacked flavor. Prices were a bit high. I paid $70 for 4 plates seems a bit much considering it's not really a fancy restaurant more like fast food atmosphere.the veggies on one of the plates were dry and old even the edges of the cabbage gave soon to rot. Will definitely not be back. I'll stick to Charley's! read more

Looking to try something new. Should have stuck to the tried and true. I ordered the deluxe burger. Small parts of my patty were still pink. Ended up with a veggie burger. lol. But the kicker was before leaving I went to the restroom to wash my hands. The faucet was broken in the women's restroom. I had to dip into the men's to clean my hands. Not sure if the women who are working there are doing the same. Too bad the lady at the resister was really nice. I had high hopes. Don't think I'll be coming back. read more

the food is amazing, but the establishment workers on multiple occasions have a tendency to close early. i'm all for pre closing as understand how food establishments work but at that point just put your closing time as 4 to prevent customer dissatisfaction or confusion. I arrived at 4:16 btw. read more

I had the classic Philly Cheese steak - Great rolls, excellent Provolone cheese and grilled onions! Tender and tasty steak but not the classic Philly flavor. I grew up around Philly and had many outstanding cheese steaks.This steak had a more Korean marinade flavor..great but not authentic The onion rings had a great taste and coating had great texture I will be back to taste other sandwiches read more

Poor service got here when it opened and the cooks werent there. I came back the next day, thinking it was just bad luck and still no cooks. Keep in mind I came this time 30min past theyre open time. The lady with the nose ring came me attitude and got sassy saying don't you see the sign says closed and the door was wide open. I will never come back here read more

I don't quite know how to rate this place. It was clean.... yes. The staff was friendly .... yes. But definitely stick with the namesake of the restaurant, the philly cheesesteaks. Now it is only my 1st time going here and only had 2 items off of their whole menu. The philly cheese steak was delicious but the taco plate was meh. I'm not going to give a lower review just because I didn't like my personal plate.. I will look forward to going back and trying some of the other things on their menu. But definitely go for the philly cheesesteaks. read more

This restaurant would have been my favorite place to get my salads, sandwiches, etc. but these couple of months that changed. Salads were just getting worst and worst. Service was GREAT as was the food. Great selection as well. Cheesesteak is pretty much on par with Philly's Best, if not fresher. The meat in my bulgogi sandwich was top notch and authentic (trust me, not all bulgogi is created equal). Last but not least, a no-frills ham turkey roast beef sub sandwich is among my favorite foods of all time and I truly can't remember the last time I had one as good. This will now be go-to place when I have those sub cravings. read more

Checked this place out today they have a very large menu lots of good stuff. I tried the cob salad and my partner tried the salmon plate. Received our order within seven minutes the food was delicious especially the salmon which I ate half of LOL Overall a cute little place to come for lunch read more

After ordering at the counter, we took a seat at one of the tables to dine-in. The music was a little loud for my preference, which makes me sound like I'm a million years old but oh well. Our orders were brought over by an employee once they were ready and I was immediately impressed by the amount of toppings and how good everything looked and smelled. My sandwich was super tasty and I especially loved the chipotle mayo and garlic herb bread! Having never tried Cheba Hut before, I immediately asked my friend where the closest location was after taking my first few bites. I'd love to try more sandwiches.
