Very nice restaurant/bar/lounge located in Casa Malca. Venue - Great place with beautiful art, decor, vibe, ambience and amazing views. Prices - Priced in the higher end, but seems to be around the same with other Tulum spots. Service - Very nice staff and friendly. Drinks - Great drinks but need to have a lil more of a kick. Food - Great fresh food with great taste and presentation. Overall really nice place and recommended.

The food and the service are amazing. I had the tomahawk steak and my wife had the lamb. Everything was perfect. Our waiter Daniel was the best. The music was great too.

Philosophy is the all day restaurant located at Casa Malca. If you're staying as a guest, it's where you will enjoy your complimentary breakfast each morning. Sometimes a comped brekkie at a hotel is super basic - not at Casa Malca! Every morning you are treated to coffee and fresh juice, a fruit plate, fresh breads, and a choice of breakfast entree. I bounced around the menu a bit each morning, trying the omelette al gusto, the huevos divorciados and the huevos rancheros (twice - I couldn't resist!). The rancheros were definitely the winner in my book. The plates were perfectly portioned for breakfast - just enough to get me through the morning and tide me over until lunch. My friend and I also hit up Philosophy for drinks before and after dinner a couple nights. I was absolutely addicted to one of the wines on their menu - Familia Rosso Syrah. It was absolutely delicious and served at the perfect, just slightly cooled temp. Our servers were excellent each and every time and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Great on-site restaurant!

Entering Casa Malca already builds some excitement.. it's a long sand walk way with boxed plants on the wall. It opens to this huge outdoor entry way. But it doesn't stop there the waiter greets you with a smile and shows you around. This is the best experience I've had in dining .. we sat inside a dark romantic feeling room ocean front. The food was impeccable and I mean IMPECCABLE!!! The service matches the ambiance and after your done the wait staffs walks you around to all of the beautiful seating area and artsy rooms. This place was worth all of my money.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in Tulum! Right at the beachfront of the Casa Malca hotel. This restaurant had impeccable service and the food was incredible. We enjoyed every minute of it. The passion fruit and shrimp ceviche was delicious and looked so beautiful. The cacao pappardelle with roasted pumpkin sauce, xcatic chile essence and crystal shrimp was delicious! The vegetable lasagna with jocoque, cream cheese, goat cheese, carrot, zucchini, portobello, spinach, egg plant, tile of grana padano cheese was also very tasty. We loved everything! At the end the tequila macaroons were such a nice treat. I loved the cocktails too.

The food was unbelievable. Some of the best I've ever had! This was recommended by one of the owners of our hotel as her favorite place in Tulum, and it didn't disappoint. It was an explosion of unique flavors, even for all the vegan/vegetarian food. This is a must go!

The establishment was busy but attention to guests was great. Ordered the waffle with side of sausage. The waffle was perfection. Very light and buttery. The whipped cream was not overly sweet and a perfect compliment. My partner had French toast with bacon. By the silence and how quickly it disappeared I'll say it was also good. The highlight to me was our server. I did not catch her name but her tattoos were beautiful! She was very attentive to us (and others around us). She switched seamlessly from Spanish to English, which was helpful for me. I had my translator out to help with my broken Spanish but it was not needed . Beautiful breakfast and the walk back afterward was rough since we were stuffed. It did help in digestion though We paired

The restaurant is clean and very modern. The ceiling is cute! They have egg cartons as their ceiling! I was surprised that I couldn't just got hot black coffee, so I ordered a latte, wasn't disappointed! They even designed a heart at the top! We shared an almond croissant and they gave out passionfruit yogurt with a crunchy topping - these two things were my favorite of the meal. We are even talking about going back tomorrow just to get these two things! We also shared the Luca sandwich - this was delicious!! The sandwich has ham, cream cheese, mushrooms, and truffle oil, and topped with an egg. So delicious! There was a salad on the side that had some type of vinaigrette on it. The only complaint was that the vinaigrette was soaked up in the bottom piece of bread which made those bites a little busy when all in one bite. If I ever get a chance to order this again, I'd ask for the dressing on the side. We also got the chicken and waffles. This is the only thing we were disappointed with, not disappointed enough to mark the rest of the experience down though. The chicken was pretty good, but some bites were really salty. The waffle was so dry, even with adding the syrup, it didn't help with the waffle much. Overall, we loved this place! So glad we got to eat here! And the service was wonderful throughout the whole meal!

We messaged her on facebook and she messaged us back right away and got us in the next night for dinner. My bf informed her that I eat gluten free and dairy free and she had no problem accommodating that. The food was fantastic! The dishes are small and can be different if you are a picky eater but were all delicious and well done. We had cold carrot soup and I was sure I was going to hate it, but it was delicious!! Lolo is an amazing chef! She creates a different set of dishes to serve every night. She also has an amazing personality and incredible stories! It was about a 40 pesos cab right from central street to Lolo's house. Please note this is not a typical restaurant, this is her actual residence and makes it that much more special. You walk through her kitchen and are seated in the back in a romantic garden setting. Its community seating style so we had 6 other people there. The whole meal we had great conversation. Even though it is community style and there were other people my boyfriend and I still felt like we had a romantic meal out. Lolo does have cats that walk around back there so if you're allergic be aware. Cats do not bother us so it was not a problem. You can bring your own bottle of wine and Lolo's staff serves you it periodically throughout your meal and will keep it cold in the fridge. Her waitresses were so professional and nice I was in shock. This is definitely an experience and I highly recommend doing it!! We will be back.
