I had their grill pork special combination rice plate, my husband had the lemongrass chicken rice plate and my friend had the vermicelli grilled pork & shrimp combination plate. For the appetizer we had the banh mi and oh man this was the real deal!! The flavors in that grill pork was spot on, you can taste the 5 spices seasoning with that delicious smoky Fire grilled street food flavor in the pork belly slices, it brought back all the best childhood flavors from when my grandmother would make this at home in Vietnam. My husband also got a pandan slush and it was so yummy and refreshing on a hot day. Tasted like something I would get on a hot summer day in the middle of the city of Saigon. Service: 2 stars - still needs work because they are still working in getting staff. They only have one real server right now doing everything so give some grace and keep that in mind. It's similar to Laab/Larb but with beef instead of chicken. It was a tender flank steak, tossed with lettuce, cucumber, green onions and chilis. Choose your heat level, I went with spicy, just a step below the Thai spicy and it was just enough to make my nose run. You can also get it with zero spice, but that combo of hot beef, crisp cold vegetables, spicy, sweet, sour, crunchy and chewy. The offerings via the menu present a more diverse and broader range of foods --- more South East Asian overall.
