If you're in search of a dining spot that combines a relaxed atmosphere with delicious cuisine, look no further. This delightful establishment offers a serene ambiance that invites you to unwind, whether you're on a romantic date or simply enjoying a meal on your own. Jasmine greeted us as we came in, she gave us time to pick our food and order. Both the appetizers were delicious and crunchy. The Pho was flavorful and tasty. Will definitely be going back.

I have eaten a lot of Pho and Vietnamese dishes. The food here was very high quality. The balance of flavor and spices on the broth were possibly the best I've ever had. The Bánh Xèo (Vietnamese pancake) was perfect. I liked my Bánh Mì Bo Núóng too. Everybody enjoyed their food and I kept commenting that I couldn't believe this quality of food was available at such reasonable prices.

Delicious pho! Loved it! Plan on going back

Delicious pho! First time trying them. Excellent customer service. Plan on going back.

Ordered their viet coffee, strong coffee taste, compared to city viet coffee, the flavor is off. Needed more condensed milk. (Not sure if they used condensed milk) Ordered the egg rolls and fried shrimp which was good.

Pho was soo good I wish I had ordered it too

We came here on a whim. I couldn't believe there was a Vietnamese restaurant in Newburgh. This place was super clean and the food was amazing! The waitress was patient and nice. I would definitely come here again, and again, and again. I can't remember what we ordered I just remembered it was so damn good. I will be back soon and be the duke. I promise you lol

Pretty laid back here vibe wise, plus pick your own table. Service was pretty quick to take your order and make sure to remind you if needed anything to ask. The way it was more an obligation than to mean it. But eh guess they're bored here. The rocket shrimp rolls were great, fresh and piping hot. Very crunchy and the shrimp was not overcooked, plus the dipping sauce was very sweet and tangy. Fresh lemonade was amazing definitely just right amount of sweet and no syrups. For the seafood pho soup bowl, all the seafood was pretty tasty and delicious, definitely plenty of noodles since I keep digging it more, as for the broth, savory and sightly salty. Keeping drinking the broth since it was great and well on a cold day like it was when I went, gives you that warm feeling.

We found this spot and have been here countless times since then. I've ordered the beef pho as well as the veggie tofu pho and I love them both. I usually will add a meat to the side, like chicken and you get a decent amount of tasty chicken to add in. The chicken is a good size, while having a nice sauce and seasoning on it. The noodles are cooked very good, leaving them tender but firm. The tofu is also cooked very good, it appears to be more on the firmer side which is great. The sauce you can add to the pho is delicious, just the right combo of spicy and sweet. They do give a good portion and the prices are decent (Though all add ons seem to be about the same, at about $4.99). The customer service is great as well, any time we have been here to pick up they have been courteous and prompt. They did forget the chicken we ordered as an add on for one order, but we were able to call and get the credit back for the missing item. I will say, when ordering the beef pho, for whatever reason they do provide less broth than the tofu veggie pho. I also do wish it was a bit more tofu and veggies offered when ordering the pho tofu, but it is good nonetheless. We will be back.

This is a great place to have Vietnamese food. Our first time trying. We started with egg rolls. They have many choices on their menu for Pho. I enjoyed my filet migon Pho. My husband had the seafood Pho. It was delicious! The service was great. I highly recommend!

What a disappointment…read more 1. Their boba, or tapioca pearls, fell apart so much that it didn't require chewing. Even for mediocre boba tea shops, this doesn't (and shouldn't) happen, and if it does turn out like this after cooking it, some level of quality control and assurance would have whoever is responsible for this not serve this so this substandard food item doesn't reach customers. If what they served is considered acceptable by staff, then I'm afraid we don't have a common ground to begin with. 2. Staff looked and sounded puzzled when asked about the "Justea Blend" and asked for "Less" sweetness, both listed on their menu. In the end, it seemed like they didn't have Justea Blend, and staff didn't know what it was and the question remains unanswered. 3. We were charged the most for our plain tea (without milk, foam, brown sugar, etc.) than at any other boba tea shops (over $7 each, before tax and a credit card fee) in any other U.S. state we've visited, and the tea was disappointingly bland. I was bothered by this and so, was tempted to request a refund, but seeing the entire shopping centre was dead quiet and choosing to chalk the dismal experience up to systemic, not individual, faults, decided to make the full payment and leave the place. I doubt this joint would be at the top of the list next time around, but I wish them well and hope they continue to improve.

Yes Yes Yes Yes…read more This place is in fact not overhyped. As an avid matcha enthusiast, I have to say, I'm shocked yet so satisfied. I'm usually disappointed by more matcha or coffee shops than usual however State Thomas has proved me wrong. First off this place is so simple, chic and aesthetic. I love the long tables that allow for bigger groups and just a collaborative family like setting. On both sides of the windows, there's also seating available too which is appreciated. The cute notepad wall filled with positive affirmations and sayings are such a sweet touch especially during the holiday season. The fact that you are able to choose your sweetness is one of the most simplest yet thoughtful things shops that sell matcha can do. It''s really customer centric which I appreciate. I ordered the matcha thomas with oat milk and 100% sweetness. The drink had the perfect color, has notes of coconut and vanilla and although it was 100% sweetness it was still subtle. There has to be some type of coconut cream or milk given the flavor and texture and its sooo yummy and refreshing. If you are in the Beacon area and like matcha, please don't hesistate to try this place out!

What it does lack, however, is a standalone boba shop. While Asahi is, first and foremost, a poke restaurant, it does offer a selection of boba teas and slushies. The weather had just turned from dreary cold to summery hot, so I was craving my favorite Asian drink. After some hand-wringing (I couldn't decide which one to get), I finally settled on an iced strawberry tea with milk foam. I wasn't confident in my order, but all my anxieties allayed at first sip. It was delicious! The boba was soft, the strawberry flavors came through strongly without tasting artificial, and the milk foam added a complex layer of creaminess and saltiness that elevated the drink altogether. Even my husband, who's not much of a boba drinker, thought it was great (and kept stealing sips). If you're in Beacon and you're suddenly hit with a hankering for boba, try Asahi.
