Foods fine. Its tasty. But i feel the need to write the fact that the portions to cost ratio is atrocious. I used to live next to a lot of hometown Vietnamese spots like this in Honolulu and they're charging easily double here in Newburgh for what you get there. I mean seriously the $18 beef and rice platter was like a kids meal at McDonalds, you would have got away with it if there was just more Food but like hysterical one there with what i got. Bahn mi i got was offensively low on meat. Again, not bad tasting or anything and its very authentic tasting but im a customer not a war prisoner.

We stopped here on our way back home. The restaurant looks like your average Vietnamese restaurant, with plenty of seats. We were served right away and it did not take long before our orders were served. We started with the beef Banh Mi. Toasty bread with delicious beef! We shared it, and it was so good, that we ordered another one. Which we enjoyed after our Pho was done. My Pho with spicy broth was top notch, didn't have to add anything. The flavor was perfect. Definitely a place to swing by again next time we find ourselves in this part of the country. New Saigon didn't disappoint!

Nice Vietnamese restaurant with all the standard dishes. Love that the menu has pictures to go with the food so you know exactly what you are ordering. They also have bubble teas here! Beef Pho was delicious and we also had the shrimp pho and lemongrass spicy beef noodle. It wasn't spicy, but the flavor is nice. I would recommend it if you are in a mood for Vietnamese food!

Not the best pic but their banh mi recipe changed again and honestly it's even better. I love it so much! Very solid and great flavors. I crave this often and their beef pho is so flavorful

Super authentic Vietnamese food with great service. What we ordered: Special Egg Rolls Saigon Wings Pho with tripe and meatballs Bun Thit Nuong Banh Mi Saigon Com Ga Hap Gung Soda Chanh Vietnamese Iced Coffee Mango Bubble Tea We got there a little after the time they opened on a Sunday so we were the 2nd party for the day but by the time we left there were many more people. It looks like this place is a local favorite even amongst the Vietnamese community - which is a great sign of how the food is. If I am ever in the area I will be back!

This is the fat that was in my bowl that I pulled off of the pork.

This would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for the fat attached to the pork in my pork and egg roll vermicelli bowl. I'm not sure why they don't remove it before they serve it, but each time that I order it I have to pick up each piece of pork and clean it before I can eat.

Everytime I go I get the speciality Pho and the fried dumplings . All the bubble tea is soooo good , Service super good , low staff but the person they have it super cool. I like the environment too especially the waterfall by the door.

My go to place for pho, but everything on the menu is just good. Service is always friendly and the ambiance is so relaxing. I love all the decorations. They actually updated some decor I think for the better. Keep in mind they aren't open on Mondays.

3 1/2 stars. On the road in Newburgh and made a quick stop here for dinner. There is table device but the food came super quickly. 18 year old and I shared shrimp rolls, dumplings, and a beef dish. All were decent. The beef kind of tasted like steak-ums but the dish was tasty. The dumplings tasted fresh. Nice place for a quick meal when you are hungry.

Too bad I couldn't enjoy this sandwich the way I should have if I wasn't freezing to death

Our food was good. In fact, the grilled chicken Banh mi sandwich that I had was really delicious! So why only two stars? ?? Well, first of all we visited it on a cold night- it was only 42° outside. But inside it felt like it was 12°! We were meeting friends that we had not seen for a long time and we tried to relax and enjoy our food - but sadly that is hard to do when you have to bundle up in your coats to eat, and SHIVER while you're trying to have a conversation! I mean, who wants to eat wearing their coat and gloves..? We mentioned how cold it was to our server and they said that they would check the temperature but nothing ever happened. It is really uncalled for to have a restaurant SO COLD that you cannot enjoy your visit or your food! The second problem was the timing of the service. Our food came out little by little and some of us decided to start eating so that our food did not get cold and we were about done before the rest of the group got their food! Not good... So I may consider ordering a grilled chicken banh mi sandwich to go... But I don't know that I could be talked into going back there!!! Everyone in our group left feeling pretty unhappy with the situation.

My aunt, who is handicapped and has Down syndrome, needed to use the restroom, but the waitress told them they couldn't use it. They had to walk all the way to Dunkin' Donuts instead, which was frustrating and honestly embarrassing. When my dad and I finally came in, the waitress asked if it was for two, and I said no, for four. When my mom and aunt returned, it felt awkward knowing the restaurant had a restroom but didn't allow them to use it. That was very rude and disappointing. We did have a male server who was kind, and the food itself was good, so credit to the chef. However, after we finished eating, no one checked on us. I had to go up to the counter to pay, and no one asked if we needed a to-go box--I ended up getting one myself and packing my own food. Overall, while the food was good, the customer service and basic courtesy need serious improvement.

That gives it a near 5 star rating review-wise, which I do not think is warranted. I felt mislead. Service was decent. Ambiance could use improvement. It was decorated to the brim, but it felt like I was still in an old storefront in Poughkeepsie. With that being said, this was a decent option for Vietnamese food. I had the Pho, which had a delectable salty broth. The beef was also juicy and flavorful. Unfortunately, the sides - limes, basil, bean sprouts - were a little old. The noodles were also soggy. Perhaps it a style of pho that I'm not accustomed to, but it wasn't for me. Finally, I wished the Pho came out much hotter. I would certainly come back to try the other dishes, but will be trying other Pho spots when the cravings hit.

A great way to start the meal. Next up was the mango catfish, which was hot, crispy, and full of flavor. The mango brought an unexpected bit of heat and sweetness that worked surprisingly well -- definitely a standout dish and a pleasant surprise. For our mains, we both ordered the beef pho, which arrived piping hot, deeply comforting, and incredibly filling. Perfectly warming and exactly what you want from a good bowl of pho. Dessert sealed the deal. The flan was slightly overdone but still enjoyable, and the ube ice cream was excellent on its own. But when you combine the two? Pure bliss. Overall, a delicious and satisfying experience -- we'll absolutely be back. Service is fast and the decor is functional. A great find! Be sure to try it out.

We came…read morerecently on a Sunday late afternoon for an early supper, and the place was already completely packed. The ambiance is warm and the food is very good, with a menu concentrated on pho (and variations on the classic), rice & vermicelli platters, and banh mi, with a vegetarian version of each. I love when a restaurant focuses on the categories they do well and not branch out just for the sake of variety. The pho is perfectly solid, with a flavorful broth though not as complex as my favorite pho place up the street (which I'm normally loyal to but like to switch it up now and then). The sliced brisket isn't paper thin but there's a generous pile of it, on top of an equally generous mound of noodles. Personally I prefer my usual spot but can see why many people like this place better. The banh mi is excellent and very satisfying, stuffed with tender marinated grilled meats, balanced with the sweet tart crunch of pickled carrots & daikon. The deliciousness of the proteins translates equally well to the rice platters. I wasn't a fan of the strawberry milk tea I ordered - it's very sweet and artificial, like a powdered drink not real milk tea. Good bubble teas are so hard to find! The pot of hot jasmine tea was nice though. Whether you pronounce it I-foe or I-fuh, this is a terrific and proper Vietnamese restaurant and we've really enjoyed our meals here. 4.5 stars.
