Ambience was dismal. All old wood furniture from previous owner. Food was just meh. Pho broth was mediocre.

The shrimp pho is my go-to order--the broth is rich and flavorful, the shrimp is always fresh, and it's the perfect comfort meal. The seafood dumplings are also amazing. They're packed with flavor and always cooked perfectly. And I can never leave without getting a matcha boba. The matcha flavor is smooth and not overly sweet, and the boba is always just right. The restaurant also has a clean, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere that makes dining here enjoyable every time. It's a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a meal, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. What keeps me coming back is the consistency. Every time I visit, the food and service are great. If you're looking for delicious pho, tasty seafood dumplings, and a refreshing drink, I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

My aunt, who is handicapped and has Down syndrome, needed to use the restroom, but the waitress told them they couldn't use it. They had to walk all the way to Dunkin' Donuts instead, which was frustrating and honestly embarrassing. When my dad and I finally came in, the waitress asked if it was for two, and I said no, for four. When my mom and aunt returned, it felt awkward knowing the restaurant had a restroom but didn't allow them to use it. That was very rude and disappointing. We did have a male server who was kind, and the food itself was good, so credit to the chef. However, after we finished eating, no one checked on us. I had to go up to the counter to pay, and no one asked if we needed a to-go box--I ended up getting one myself and packing my own food. Overall, while the food was good, the customer service and basic courtesy need serious improvement.

That gives it a near 5 star rating review-wise, which I do not think is warranted. I felt mislead. Service was decent. Ambiance could use improvement. It was decorated to the brim, but it felt like I was still in an old storefront in Poughkeepsie. With that being said, this was a decent option for Vietnamese food. I had the Pho, which had a delectable salty broth. The beef was also juicy and flavorful. Unfortunately, the sides - limes, basil, bean sprouts - were a little old. The noodles were also soggy. Perhaps it a style of pho that I'm not accustomed to, but it wasn't for me. Finally, I wished the Pho came out much hotter. I would certainly come back to try the other dishes, but will be trying other Pho spots when the cravings hit.

We felt right at home and were excited to try the food. We both got the Passion Fruit Drink, highly recommend. We also ordered the pork fried dumplings (10/10 delicious) and the crispy egg rolls (also 10/10, super hot but the crunch and flavors were perfect) for our appetizers. We split the entrees, a pork bahn mi, and grilled pork with vermicelli noodles--I wish I would've taken a picture of the bowl to show how delightful it was! The bahn mi was next level in flavor, I def. Could've eaten an entire sandwich. Heads up! There isn't any parking for the restaurant itself so keep an eye out for street parking on your way.

If you are anywhere near the area, this place is an absolute must-visit. What makes this restaurant so special is not just the food, but the heart behind it. This is a true small business where you can genuinely feel the care and warmth the moment you walk through the door. The owner, Khan, was one of the sweetest and funniest people we've met in a long time. He was incredibly welcoming and full of personality. Talking with him felt less like dining at a restaurant and more like visiting a family friend's home. You can tell he pours himself into this place and truly appreciates every customer who walks in. We ordered the chicken pho and it was heartwarming. The broth was beautifully clear, light, and deeply comforting without feeling heavy or greasy. You could taste the care that went into it. The chicken was incredibly tender and soft, soaking up all the flavor of the broth, and every spoonful felt nourishing and cozy. It was the kind of pho that warms you from the inside out. I ordered the grilled tofu with egg roll over vermicelli since we just finished our walk on the Walkway Over the Hudson, and honestly, it could not have been a more perfect meal afterward. The cold vermicelli noodles were refreshing and silky, paired with crisp fresh vegetables and fragrant herbs that made the whole dish feel bright and vibrant. The grilled tofu had a delicious char on the outside while staying soft inside, and the crispy egg roll added the perfect crunch and savory richness. But the real standout was the fish sauce -- slightly sweet, salty, tangy, and filled with little bits of chili that slowly built into the perfect spicy kick. Once poured over the bowl, every bite became addictive. We also shared the pork banh mi, and it was incredible. The bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while still soft and airy inside with that satisfying crackle when you bite into it. The stewed pork was juicy, flavorful, and deeply savory, balanced beautifully with the fresh vegetables and herbs. It was one of those sandwiches where every texture and flavor came together perfectly. Even our 1.5-year-old absolutely loved the food and ended up eating one of the biggest lunches he's had in a while, which says everything. Places like this deserve all the support they can get. Amazing food, genuine hospitality, and the kind of small business experience that is getting harder and harder to find. We will absolutely be back.

Overall though it's a small space, well lit, clean with a nice ambiance. Food? In this instance I ordered two dishes which are what I consider mainstays of any Vietnamese restaurant... I ordered a Bahn Mi and Pho. I have to say, on both counts they scored hits with the food. Both were well done and tasty and there are no complaints there. I would recommend them for people liking good Vietnamese. I'd even say it wouldn't be a bad place to dine in, I think they had a radio and TVs going and I'd be a little reluctant only because of noise level but I did like the bright space and the layout and color design of the restaurant. It's a modern and very compelling space to be in for a meal.

We were seated right away, although the first table felt a bit cramped, and the staff had no problem moving us to a booth. One thing to note is that there appeared to be only two people working the front of the house for the entire restaurant, so they were understandably stretched thin. Our server took our order promptly, and the food arrived surprisingly quickly. However, service was inconsistent throughout the meal. We had to ask for water after being seated for quite a while without any being brought to the table, and the iced coffee I ordered never arrived. I'm not sure if it was missed or simply not heard when ordering. As for the food, it was enjoyable overall. The pho had good flavor, although the accompanying fixings were a little sparse compared to what I've seen elsewhere. My daughter ordered the spring rolls and pork chop over noodles, both of which she enjoyed. Overall, this is a solid spot if you're looking for a quick and tasty meal. Just be prepared for service that may be a bit hit-or-miss during busy times.
