Absolutely love the food and the ambiance of this place. My fiancé and I have been here at least 10 times and the food is constantly good but so is the poor service. Orders are taken and food is dropped. That's it. They never check up on how the food is, if you need anything, offer to go containers for food left over, or even bother dropping a check. The female cashier and female server have even given nasty attitudes and looks on two separate occasions. It's a shame - if staff were more attentive and polite this spot would easily have five stars! Hopefully,management can correct this easy fix with feedback to their staff on customer service skills. read more

We were very excited to see another Pho place open up in Corona. Inside was very nice, well decorated and inviting. Right off the bat we could tell they were still figuring out a few things. I give them the benefit of the doubt since it recently opened up. We ordered two bowl of Pho, egg rolls, fried rice and two smoothies. The Pho was not good. The meat is clearly put in our Pho frozen so it was very tough meat. My husband ordered a large and I ordered a small and they came out the same size. The broth is good and they do add alot of meat however, I prefer quality over quantity. The fried rice was good! We enjoyed that. After waiting about 45 min we finally got out egg rolls after finishing our Pho and most of the rice. I had to ask a few times as this was our appetizer. Despite waiting that long, the egg rolls were not good. The meat inside just seemed like mystery meat and the flavor was not good. I was looking forward to these and we didnt even finish one each. :( Next was the smoothie and they were very good! We can tell there is a lot of work need to be done with the servers finding the correct tables to serve as we had another dish get served to us that wasn't ours then the server took it and gave it to another customer. Expect to be here for over an hour during dinner time. Service is on the slower side. Unfortunately, we would only come back for the Fried rice and smoothies. Im willing to try other menu items in hopes they are better but we are disappointed in the food for such a beautiful restaurant. read more

After passing by Pho 36 way too many times, my husband and I finally went to try out their food. Their soup is amazing especially during the cold windy weather we've been having. Their soup is also great if you're feeling a sore throat coming on. This was my situation and it immediately made my throat feel better with a little added pepper to spice it up in my throat. They let you customize how much additives you want in your soup (see picture). I ended up putting all of it in my soup which adds even more flavor! I also tried the Thai milk tea with boba and I couldn't be more pleased. The boba was cooked to my personal favorite texture, not to hard and not too soft. I recommend this restaurant and to get the large size because it's only a few cents more. You can always take the rest to go for your next meal or take it to work for your lunch. The building is clean and the ambience of the live succulents/indoor plants are calming and nice to look at. We will be going back! read more

I was happy to see recommendations by Elites for this place since there not enough Pho places around . We usually eat pho in Irvine it tastes better there or when we crave for the best pho we drive all the to GG to eat in our favorite Pro place on Hazard street . The owners did very good job making the place pop up with huge Pho 36 sign outside which is the best marketing idea and the interior decor was kind of surprising in a good way with decorations from Z Gallery and newly remodeled area which you don't usually see at any pho places . Why 4 stars the food took a while to come out and was kind of on a small side portion wise , basic pho taste nothing special we also ordered 2 drinks which was coconut shake with boba - not real coconut definitely made of some powder and added dried coconut and milk tea with boba - tasted very good to me with good tea base , boba was ok thought . I understand they are trying to get more exposure by kindly asking for yelp reviews but it is agains yelp's policy to do so my advice do not need to ask anyways customers will post their feedback just read and learn and fix what needs to be fixed to get better feedback in the future . So my husband and I have been waiting for this place to open! We love Pho and have tried several places. It's opening night and they are packed! They will get the service down I'm sure of it. But the food was absolutely Delish. The best egg rolls I have had and the veggie pho was full of flavor and veggies. The small is still pretty big and filling. I'm so happy there's finally a close place for Vietnamese food. My daughter and I went last night and got spring rolls, smoothies, and vermicelli. Food was delicious. Service was a little slow, but it was better than I expected considering it was their Grand opening. I think there's still a few kinks to work out (paying is confusing, servers are still learning table #s), but overall a nice experience. Well, I just wanted to congratulate the restaurant for their opening a month ago. I understand that it can be a challenge opening a restaurant. The ambiance is wonderful but the food is not great at all. When I asked the waitress if their eggs roll had pork in them. She seemed highly confused. Anyways I tried them and OMG they were just okay. The meat or meat paste inside was yucky plus some of my egg rolls were lukewarm and others were hot. The most disappointing thing was the rare steak pho. The broth was very pale in color and lack flavor that I normal receive for the hundreds of other pho restaurants I've been too over the past 15 years. Too me the broth makes everything and I truly believe that if your broth is good. There is no need for additional sauces or spices to get your desired taste. The steak taste very cheap and the noodles were gummy. Right now I am just picking over my soup just to be nice(I am still hungry btw) I am hoping that as time goes on that they will work on making their broth better and egg rolls. After relocating to Lake Elsinore from the San Gabriel Valley, I was really disappointed with the local Pho restaurants in the city. I mean they were just less than mediocre. After doing some research and reading a ton of reviews, I stumbled across this place and I am so glad I decided to give them a chance! Finally!! Delicious authentic Vietnamese food!! My husband and son ordered their Pho Ga (chicken pho) to-go and I ordered the Shrimp Vermicelli. The pho was delicious and they used real chicken not the frozen stuff. The shrimp vermicelli was amazing and their nuoc mam (fish sauce) tastes just as it should not like the other stuff I've tasted at the lake Elsinore restaurants. Yuck! Just left this place. If you want to get ripped off, this is the place. I travel throughout SoCal for work and was super hungry. Decided to stop here and try it out. I sat down and three different waiters impatiently asked me to order. Pretty rude staff. I had to hurry to make a decision as they kept coming to my table telling me to order. Decided on the Banh Hoi vermicelli. And a fried rice to go. The banh hoi cane out and did not look anything close to the picture on the menu. Only had a thin layer of vermicelli. Needless to say the portion kept me still hungry. As for the fried rice to go. Same thing the picture on menu shows it loaded with shrimp and Chinese sausage. Oh my gosh .... THE BEST around Corona! Plenty of bean sprouts, mint, limes and Jalapeño's to go with our 4 number 11's! My son was craving soup because it was so cold. We got there at 5:30pm, placed our order to go, and was pleasantly seated to wait. My daughter, son and I were given complimentary water and a soda while we waited for our order. They said 15 mins. And it was done very quickly. Let me tell you the food was plenty and delicious! Last time there, my wife had #66, a crispy fried noodle dish with mixed vegetables and a mix of meats. It was very good. I had my go to Pho #1. I came in to this place today with my man excited to try their pho. We ordered egg rolls, two #18s (beef balls) and two Thai iced teas. The total came out to about 36.00+ tip, not great but not too bad either. Unfortunately, I had a few problems during my visit... The beef broth wasn't as flavorful as I have had at other places, although there were a lot of toppings and sauces available to punch up the flavor. I did end up using some of them and they did help to overall improve the flavor of the dish. The biggest issue I had was when it was time to pay, one of the serves came over to our table, dropped off the check and stood there and waited for me to hand her my card or cash so she could close me out. So I gave her my card after noticing she wasn't going to leave. Fine. Then she comes back with the receipt and I say "thank you" and continue on with my conversation. I Notice she was standing there again, waiting for me to sign the receipt land give it back... So I filled out the tip and signed for it, gave it back and said thank you again and went on with my conversation again. Then, I notice she walks away slowly and from a few feet away is blatantly staring at us, obviously waiting for us to leave. Stopped in this Pho spot with my colleague for lunch. Initial impression was it is tastefully decorated and upscale. Server/hostess gestured over towards a booth for us to sit at. I ordered a number 1 and my Coworker ordered a number 16. Sidenote: a large is $.50 more than a small so why would anyone order a small. Upon receiving my Pho I tasted the broth, as is tradition, and it was delicious. About halfway through the soup I noticed I was missing The tendon, the tripe, and the fatty brisket. We were unable to get the attention of the server and summoned the hostess over to not only fill our empty water glasses but to notify her of the wrong order. She simply took the bill to the back and I thought she would at least correct or discount the bill for their error. All I got was a pathetic sorry and the same bill set back in front of me.
