This place has the best pho broth I've yet to have. I usually have to add sriracha and hoisin to make it taste how I want, but I feel bad adding much to this broth and losing its original flavor. Just wondered past Pho36 and decided to stop by on a whim, and so glad we did! We haven't had much Vietnamese food so wasn't sure what to order and our waiter was so incredibly friendly and gave us some great recommendations to help us to try a variety which still suited our tastes. The service was fantastic, very attentive. The food was phenomenal! Such rich flavours and tasty, fresh meals. Classed as street food but not greasy at all. So filling too at super reasonable prices. Would go back in a heartbeat, can't recommend enough. Special thanks to our waiter for chatting with us, being so friendly, and teaching us about the foods and the restaurants history (these guys were one of the first three Vietnamese restaurants in the UK!). 10/10 read more

I was SO excited when they first opened. They seemed to do it right with a nice big clean restaurant. They also had vegan options. Things unfortunately seemed to go downhill fast. Tables would be left dirty. Seats had food on them. And I found out they use MSG. In today's world, that's just lazy. Many pho and Thai restaurants bring out rich flavors without MSG. This place is very inconsistent. I usually get the lean flank pho. Sometimes the pho is WAYYY to salty and sometimes it's perfect. I also tried the beef fried rice and it was very good, however I only tried it once. Sometimes the service is awful and they ignore you, and sometimes they are very attentive. I love pho! The beautiful aromatic broth is one of my favorite go to comfort foods. My family and I have eaten at Pho 36 three times since their opening and I can honestly say it's the WORST Pho I've ever had. It is missing all of the wonderful flavors traditional Pho is known for. This last bowl was watered down, absolutely no flavor, full of grease and the tendon balls had large chunks of bone in them! Truly disappointing. If your looking to satisfy your Pho craving, it won't happen here . They seriously should fix the quality of their Pho or remove it from the menu. read more

Went in were lunch today. My table ordered wings, egg rolls, banh mi, bbq beef vermicelli, bbq pork with rice,and broccoli shrimp with rice. This place took so long to make our food. There were 2 other tables and they ordered pho si that came out right away for them. 15 mins later egg rolls and bbq pork with rice came out. 5 mins later banh mi came out. 10 mins after that chicken wing and bbq beef came out. This is my 5th time coming. I like that it's local, clean and food is tasty. This review is for the service. We received the apps. Long after the entrees and actually had to remind our waitress. She seemed confused even thou she took our order. We had minimal service once food was delivered. Had to ask for share plates, water refills, never checked on us regarding food quality. Even had to hunt server down for to go containers.. It wasn't busy yet the staff was more concerned with polishing silverware and chatting vs checking on us. Best chicken Phò I have ever had! The egg rolls are delicious but be careful... they come out piping hot! Every time we order them we typically have to wait until the end of our meal to eat them. So good though. The beef Banh Mí is so yummy and perfect if you're craving a light but fulfilling lunch. The seared fillet mignon meal is a family favorite. It comes with a side of rice and a small salad. It's hard not to order it every time! Seafood lovers get the shrimp fried rice! It's a great sharing size too. Wash it all down with a Thai tea and you'll be ready for a nap. The service is really good too. They are always sweet to our kids and offer special place mats for them. read more

New vietnamese pho restaurant! The inside is very inviting. Big restaurant, clean, and lovely interior design. The waitresses and waiters here are very friendly. Pho noodle soup size is acceptable, but not as large as some of their other pho noodle restaurant counterparts in Corona. The only main con is that service is slow. Maybe not enough chefs in the back? Drinks did not come until after the entrees came out which is unusual. Typically, drinks come out right away after ordering before the food arrives. We had to sit around and wait about 15min. until after our entrees came out before receiving our drinks. We also ordered an appetizer and it still did not arrive even after we finished eating our entrees. This restaurant just opened and probably still needs some time to adjust so I'll be a bit more forgiving with my rating. I noticed another Yelp reviewer note a similar experience as me which is that the person who handed me back my bill stood at the side of my table waiting for me as a I took the time to sign the receipt and write my tip. I just found this a bit odd and uncomfortable. I'm going to give this restaurant another chance and give it a try again next time because the staff is so friendly and I can tell that they're really trying. A co-worker and I stopped in for lunch a while ago because it's close to work. A couple weeks later, I brought my husband because I really liked the pho and he's a fan of trying new pho places. The atmosphere is very bright and fancy, moreso than any other pho place I've gone to. I ordered my usual (well done beef cuts with tripe) both times and was very happy and satisfied both times. The broth is quite clean and clear, which leads to a lighter taste, but I liked it better than a super oil heavy version of the broth. The noodles were particularly well done and not overly soggy or sticky. The tripe was tender, but still has some bite to it. With my husband on the second trip we also ordered spring rolls. They were nice, but I'm not a fan of the giant piece of green onion that pierces the roll. Overall, a very good choice in my opinion. read more
