Found a live roach in my food. However what disappointed me the most, and ultimately made me write this review was, when I showed the waitress and she went to the back, i was sitting at a table right next to the kitchen door and cash register. On her way back out she stopped to say something to the person in the back with the door still open when I heard the manager laugh and say " oh just tell him it's extra meat for him". When she turned back to me, she knew I had heard what he had said. So I asked her, " what did he just say?" She smiled with embarrassment and confirmed " extra meat for you" I was absolutely shocked and disgusted! It was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had in a restaurant. This place has no clue to what customer service is and to compensate for wrong and messed up orders. I just paid $12.49 for a container that's partially full of fried rice and they looked at me crazy when I said something about it. I will not give them any of my money again. read more

First time here and expected more based on reviews. Ordered Kung Pao chicken and wasn't what I expected at all....first I got soupy chicken which guessing was boiled not fried or steamed. Typically this is somewhat spicier meal but this was so bland. Same goes egg drop soup. Most places have low sodium soy sauce this place does not have that as an option. Most Chinese and Viennese places offer more vegetarian and gluten free options as well but this place fails. So had to order couple appetizers and soup for my son. I really wish places in UC could be more accommodating to special dietary needs. Service was fast which why gave it extra star otherwise it would be 1 star review. read more

This place was close to 1604 but off the beaten path. We ordered a8 dumplings, they were so fresh and crunchy, the meat was tender and not a fried meatball. They were yummy!!! The spicy beef udon was good should have asked for spicier!!! The hot pot for 1 chicken was like a chicken vegetable soup....no spice at all!!!!!! We also got the free egg roll with Yelp. They offer a coupon for free spring rolls on your next visit when you check in. I came to redeem the coupon and the waiter told me they do not offer the coupon anymore, yet the promotion is still available on their Yelp page. Very disappointed that management did not honor the coupon, for when I was here the previous time and received the coupon, the offer was valid. We've been here quite a few times but will never go back. Ordered two appetizers, lettuce wraps and pad Thai. The crab rangoons were good but came with a sauce that looked like red jello and tasted nasty. Something was off with the meat in the lettuce wraps and whatever sauce they used on the pad Thai was super red and super sweet. Both items were disgusting and we didn't eat them. Had the chicken pho. Have a sore throat so figured this would be perfect. It was. Just the right amount of noodles, chicken and all the accessories. Best Pho Soup in town! I don't use Sriracha or hoisin, because their broth is very good. If you're sitting there and wondering "what is pho," it's a delicate (and delicious) Vietnamese noodle soup, made from beef bones, ginger, onions and lots of aromatic spices. Mannnnnn This spot was the jam but tonight I walked in and took the blank faces of the host and waitress as a sign to seat myself. I sat in sight and waited for 24 minutes before I was brought a menu. I asked if I was in a closed section and she said " *shake head no". Ok cool "may I order 2 pho ga to go and a water while I wait?". I was drawing while I was in "Bizarro-pho". I was occupying myself with my iPad.... they have free WiFi! But the 2 guys I asked for it said "*shake finger in 1 second motion" and never seen again. Where are my people going? I've been a loyal patron at all 3 locations and once ate pho the month of July 22 times from here. Never ever a problem or issue. Hopefully my next visit will be a little more attentively handled. Food is decent, try to call in an order Togo, and this mailbox is full though, they don't answer the phone! Why even have one?

I'm conflicted, and here's why. They have a free spring roll offer when you check in. It even says it on the table. I check in. There were three of us so we ordered the large spring rolls and wanted the small ones as well. Mainly because I love love love Vietnamese spring rolls and could eat the large by myself. I show them the check in and asked if I could use it now or should I save it? There was confusion over this. They kept telling me about a code for discounts off. I said but this is yelp code offer, not another website offer. They went on & on about the code from their website I'd get tomorrow. Why do I have to sign up for another website? After the 'use it now' button was checked in search the mysterious code, I informed them I now had four hours to use it. Again no, tomorrow. They didn't seem to understand the check in offer, four employees looked at it, including the manager/owner I believe. No problem but why have it then? This put a damper on my time here. Not a big deal but disappointing. I was upset that the coupon is now voided but I guess it doesn't matter, because even if I did come tomorrow they'd tell me the exact same thing That being said, the food was good. We had the beef pho, pad Thai, spring rolls and other Thai dish I can't remember the name of. Everything was tasty. Service was nice and fast. The restaurant was nice. I was so excited for the orange chicken because this restaurant in New Braunfels was AMAZING! The orange chicken was soggy and the chicken was not good at all.
