Pho with brisket and eye of round and 53. Drunked Noodle

Service: we came less than 30 minutes before closing and not only did they allow dine in but told us (genuinely) to take our time and not rush our meal! Very kind, very attentive. Food: I kid you not when I say I gamble on drunken noodles every time I see it on the menu and each time I'm been more upset than the last time im a huge foodie and I'm originally from Washington with a heavy Asian population which means amazing variety and flavors of thai and all other Asian cuisines of food so my standards are high. I've also been to Thailand because I love thai food so trust me when I say this is worlds better than any thai food I've ever had or likely will ever have in Texas! Not the best I've ever had in my life, but right after it which is saying a lot! Pho was also great Overall: yes, go eat there. You won't regret it! Yes I instantly had to title the picture with the name, took a picture before I ate feeling it would finally be the one!

Me encanto ! Súper rico lo súper recomiendo , el lugar es pequeño pero súper limpio, si quieres comer diferente y delicioso , ven aquí , el Servicio también fue muy bueno y el ambiento es un poco solitario pero la comida lo vale

Overall food was okay. I wish they served bon bo hue but it was just a spicy beef noodle soup. I asked for some thai chili flakes to kick it up a notch since it wasn't spicy enough lol. The egg rolls came out looking burnt, but tasted surprisingly decent. The beef summer rolls were alright, I had better Vietnamese food.

Cream cheese rangoons were super hot and delicious!

We've driven by Pho Tommy a million times, since it's right down the street from our house. On a particular rainy and cold Monday night, we decided to stop and try it out, and it's a good thing we did! This little hidden gem was terrific! When we arrived there was only one other couple in the restaurant. The place is not very large, but it's very clean and well-lit. From the looks of it, they have a brisk take-out clientele, too, as the counter was full of bags for people to pick up. The friendly server (who I believe is the owner) came and took our order withing a few minutes of being seated. I ordered the eye round pho to share (it's a huge bowl) and also the cream cheese rangoons. The rangoons came out first, right out of the fryer They were steaming hot, but oh so tasty. They're served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. The pho followed. It was a giant bowl with a ton of meat, noodles and greens/bean sprouts. Not overly salty and packed with flavor, it definitely hit the spot on a cold, rainy night. I also ordered a Thai bubble tea for the road..spot on flavor and just enough entertaining tapioca bubbles to keep my mouth happy! I mentioned that there was only one other couple in the restaurant when we arrived, right? Well, in the middle of our meal, it was like a caravan of people arrived at the same time, because every table was full in a matter of 20 minutes. People coming in to pick up their orders, the phone ringing off the hook, and still the service was great! We are so glad Pho Tommy is right down the street from us...we'll be back!!

The restaurant is a small neighborhood style Thai food restaurant. We were greeted promptly and served just as fast. Overall the value for the food was spot on. We really enjoyed the flavor of the beef broth in the pho. Definitely will be back.

The Pho was delicious! I got the Thai Bubble tea, but I didn't like the tapioca pearls. The service was great and the vibes are very chill.

After telling the waiter my day was going good he noticed me fighting for my life, head down on the table, and made a point to ask if I was okay again to which I admitted having a massive headache. He brought extra water and suggested soda to relieve the headache and later brought small lollipops. After my tea, pho, and candy, I felt a lot better. Not the first time I received above and beyond customer service experience here and certainly won't be the last. Thank you Peter!

The restaurant appeared clean and well maintained. Service was prompt and friendly, although attentiveness tapered off once the meal was served. It seemed like the staff had shifted their focus toward preparing for the evening dinner crowd. After reading several recommendations, I ordered the Saigon Special since it included grilled pork, chicken, shrimp, and a Vietnamese egg roll. It seemed like a great way to sample several of their specialties. I also started with the fresh Vietnamese spring rolls. The spring rolls were enormous and easily large enough to share. The Saigon Special was equally generous, with a substantial portion of vermicelli noodles underneath the grilled meats. Everything tasted fresh, and each protein was cooked well, but none of the individual components really stood out. The meal leaned more toward generous portions and good value than bold or memorable. Overall, it was an enjoyable lunch with friendly service and excellent portion sizes. While I wasn't blown away by the flavors, I appreciated the freshness and value. I'd definitely come back for the pho, which I remember having a flavorful broth and a generous portion of meat on my previous visit. With several good Vietnamese restaurants in the area, though, I'll probably continue trying other spots before making this one a regular stop.

I am afraid that I must change my review of Pho Kim Long. I am sad to do so because this was one of…read moremy favorite local restaurants for over a decade. However, my most recent encounter has soured me completely, and I think I will never return. My favorite dish here was something that did not appear on the menu, Bo Tai Chanh salad. Even though it was not listed, they would whip it up at my request. It consists of beef cappaccio on an iceberg lettuce salad with Vietnamese vegetables and a fish sauce based dressing. Tonight they refused my order. What makes this refusal all the more frustrating is that Pho Bo Tai Chanh (the soup version) is listed on the menu and promoted as one of the favorite dishes. All that was needed, to meet my request, was to cut up half a head of lettuce and throw the non-liquid ingredients of the soup on top. Every restaurant should remember the customer is always right. Their only purpose is to meet their customers' requests to the best of their ability. I understand when a kitchen cannot meet requests with the ingredients or equipment they have. For example, I always call 24 hours ahead to order Peking Duck because the traditional methods require that amount of time to prepare the dish. Or I remember being refused a request to have my meat served rare when the restaurant had already cooked all its meat to medium rare using sous vide. I don't expect the kitchen to do the impossible. But every kitchen must be ready to meet special request whether health related like peanuts, shrimp, gluten, salt, carbohydrates, etc. or relate to tastes or ethics like vegetarian, vegans, seafood, etc. To fail one's customers is the first step to being one of the numerous restaurants to fail and become irrelevant. Any restaurant that refuses to meet reasonable requests fails the fundamental test for good service and does not deserve to be patronized. P.S. I end up going down the road to Yaya's Thai Restaurant (another local restaurant) to get something that met my tastes and preferences.

All things in my mind brought this down from a 5 star to a 4. Clean up the tables is definitely something the restaurant has control over. We sat down, and the acetone smell dissipated so either I was use to it or they turned down a shared ventilation system. The food though was the big surprise! It was excellent. We ordered the Special House Bun with beef, pork, chicken, shrimp and a crispy egg roll. The proportion of vermicelli noodles to fresh lettuce, carrots, cucumber, bean sprouts and peanuts provide d that perfect bite were one ingredient dominated the other. All the proteins were cooked perfectly. The real winner was the lemongrass Banh mi with once again perfectly proportioned ingredients. We also ordered the fresh spring roll, which never came but wasn't missed except that they did try to charge us for but did remove them. They definitely have some work to make this a comfortable dining experience but I wouldn't let it stop you from trying some phenomenal Vietnamese food.
