3.5 stars - pretty good. Went here with my husband one night for dinner. Both of us ordered pho ga - small for me and large for him. The large was extremely large, and my husband said it was too much food and he'd go for the size I ordered next time. I didn't finish mine. ;) I liked the broth - it was a touch oily (hence 3.5 stars instead of 4), but I thought it had a nice flavor. I wish we'd have been given more basil - I see from other Yelpers that we could have asked for more but my husband didn't use much. They also provide small containers of sriacha and hoisin right at the table, and it was the super-thick hoison that I love. The chicken in the pho ga was cut into circles, which was unique, and there was plenty of it. As others have mentioned, this is a brand-new place, decorated nicely and clean with nice service. Pho is decent. The broth is a bit on the lighter side but it makes the soup taste more clean and simple. They give a very little and few types of meats. It was not too impressive. The sizes are on the smaller side compared to nyc but average compared to the area. The Pork rice dish is definitely my favorite. I love pouring the fish sauce straight on to the rice and eating each bite with a piece of meat and veggie. Pork vermicelli is average to meh. The veggies underneath were kinda on the old side, browned, and not as crispy. The spring rolls are pretty large compared to the other places in the area I've been to and the use the larger shrimp and not those tiny ones. The fish cake appetizers were really good, but it it's too expensive. I really like the peppery kick when I was eating it. And the differnt chewy layers really suprised in a good way. Claims of food poisoning aside (which, if true, should be handled somehow other than via Yelp), this restaurant is OK and doesn't deserve the overly negative reviews that are here. I agree that the sizes are small, but the place is clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. It's nowhere near the best pho in the world, but it's adequate. read more

This casual Vietnamese establishment offers a menu with plentiful options and is staffed by a pleasant team, but while portions are substantial, bland flavors underwhelm diners, whether adventurous or conservative. Both the chicken and the beef pho offered a vaguely fragrant broth, but required substantial additions from the limited assortment of table side sauces to make the eating effort worthwhile. The lemongrass tofu bun was as bland as could be, and didn't come with the standard side fish sauce. A special request did result in fish sauce, a welcome addition that made the dish palatable. Many diners visit Vietnamese eateries for refreshing, healthy dishes that are also flavorful, even tastebud adventures. I would agree with a previous review about the lack of protein options. However, what they do have, they make well. - Service was fast and courteous. The gentleman waiting on us was very attentive. - The decor was nice and modern Cons: - The only reason I deducted one star was due to price. In all fairness the menu is on par with other Tyson's restaurants. However if you are willing to drive to Eden Center, you can get the same food for a fraction of the price. I ordered shrimp summer rolls and vegetable summer rolls to take to a party. I was embarrassed. The rolls are skimpy on filling. The rice paper wrap was so thick you could not even see the shrimp through the wrapping as you usuly can. They charge more than most places for the rolls on top of it. My husband did not care for his beef rice dish. The Pho may be good but beware of everything elze. read more

I've come here a few times with friends, and the food has been alright. I think part of the problem is that the food is a bit inconsistent. Sometimes the broth is flavorful, and other times it's bland. The service is helpful and attentive, so that is good. It's just the consistency of the food that needs a little work. read more

I arrived home in Vienna to find that my favorite spot for veggie friendly pho had shut down. #devastation Not many pho restaurants actually have truly vegetarian pho, as most use beef broth, so I was pleasantly surprised to find Pho 7 had opened and was less than a half mile away from where I was staying. We arrived around 8pm and there were only a few full tables. I noticed there was only one server running the whole restaurant including to-go orders, which as a server myself, didn't bother me, I've had those nights. Despite being very busy he came over took the time to explain the Nuoc Mum sauce to my mom and even brought her some to try before she ordered. For a vegan the menu was limited to the Veggie Pho but to be honest, that's all I wanted this trip and it's what I ordered. My mom ordered the Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli Noodle Bowl. My pho was delicious! Packed with fried tofu, broccoli, cauliflower, carrot slices and thinly sliced onion, I couldn't wait to dig in! Slightly sweet, incredibly aromatic, the broth was some of the best I'd had! I was also very happy with the plate of accoutrement that comes with the pho. The limes were plump and juicy, as though they had been just cut. The Thai basil was also shockingly fresh, not wilted like many other places I've eaten. But I think the best part, was the rice noodles! I eat a lot of pho and most times I've had it the noodles feel like they are still dried and under cooked... not here!! These noodles were soft and slurp-able! My mom loved her dish too. And despite not being very hungry, she devoured the whole bowl! I also appreciated the kindness of the people running the restaurant. We stayed a little after they had closed, because we couldn't stop eating the great food we had in front of us (I hate being those people!) and yet, they still treated us graciously and even chatted with us, as it was our first time eating here. The only reason for 4 stars instead of five was because I had to ask for water twice. Other than that, I can't wait to come back for some more veggie pho! I was given so little that I just said whatever and ate without it. There was only three other tables when I came in by the time I finished I was the only one left I the restaurant at 3:30. The cook came and sat at a table and was playing videos on his phone from YouTube then the server was cleaning tables having a full loud conversation on his phone. I've been coming here for more than two years with my dad, who's a senior citizen, and this is the last straw. The owners are nice and the food is okay at best. There's been one male waiter who has been particularly rude on our last few visits. We entered today, and more than half the tables were available, so we sat in our usual spot. He tries to tell us to get up and move to another smaller table, where I would have to put my dad's medicine on the ground. I refused and remained sitting at our table. When he came to take our order, he took my menu before I could show him what I wanted. We will most certainly not be back again. So it took me a while to do this update but I feel like it's the right thing to do I went with a friend about two months ago around 5pm on a weekday. We were sat at a booth on the right side of the restaurant. There was only one other customer in there on the opposite side and he was about done eating. I often see the occasional flying bug or two in pho restaurants (bigger than fruit flies but smaller than regular flies). Well after about two minutes of eating our food my eyes gravitated toward the very wall we were sitting at and I see not one, not two, but literally about 20 of them on the wall. They weren't moving. We pick up our stuff and move to a table in the center of the restaurant then suddenly we hear "zap, zap, zap zap, zap zap zap" and we were thinking is that a freaking bug zapper in the back? It wasn't. It was actually the kitchen staff walking around with "the electrocutioner" (a tennis racket bug zapper, check it out on Amazon). He was toward the back of the dining area just outside of the kitchen swatting the damn thing around killing tons of these things. The owner lady, her husband, staff from the nail salon next door (same owners as the pho restaurant) were all sitting there at a table prepping utensil napkin rolls and egg rolls while this is all going on like it was no big deal. Why didn't we hear the zaps initially? This just tells me the person doing the zapping was the same person preparing our food so he was too busy to zap bugs. A bit of extra info- the owner loves my wife and I for some reason. She always comes over to make small talk for a minute or two no matter how crowded or empty the place is, granted this time my wife wasn't with me, I have gone here with the same friend before and the owner lady came to talk to us. He actually waited tables there on weekends for the hell of it for a month or so when the place first opened so they are always very friendly with him too. This time, the owner didn't come say hi to us which isn't like her. She even walked by us and left the restaurant without saying anything to us. I know it had to be due to the bug situation. On top of that, our very own waiter was going from table to table with a cup of vinegar and a cup of wine to try to attract bugs to it. In other words the bug zapper wasn't enough. I was furious that she stayed open for business while this was going on. I should have said something but i didn't want to cause a scene. I couldn't believe she stayed open for business!! If not for her customers sake I would think she'd keep people out for the sake and well being of her own business. I really wished I said something to her. For about a week straight my friend and I would check yelp to see if there have been any reviews pointing out something similar to what we saw but there wasn't a single review like what we expected to see. Anyways- this short novel does the story no justice. If you were there and saw what we saw you very well might write pho off forever. But this is a very fine bowl in a clean and fresh atmosphere at Tysons pricing and location. The broth is really delicious but will get knocks from some who say it's too fatty. C'mon people, fat is flavor!! The broth is fantastic. As others have mentioned, it might be hard to find the first time -- it's tucked in the interior corridor at the center of the strip mall behind Sbux. Glad it's here, quite tasty! I love pho. And I love bun. Which means I love Pho 7 because it offers both. It is unfortunately located next to one of my gym locations, and since I leave every workout starving (no matter what I eat before), it's going to be tempting not to stop here. Hopefully, knowing that I'll undo my hard work will keep me from visiting too often. Pho 7 is new, and I feel that it is desperately need in this plaza, which really didn't have any great food options, judging by the reviews of Thai Pilin and Sakura, until now. It is new, clean, bright, and modern. The servers use tablets for your order. The staff is very friendly, kind, and helpful, and you can tell that they genuinely care about your experience. My first time, I had to go with my favorite: pho ga and gui cuon (summer rolls). The summer rolls were fresh and big, however, they use a peanut dipping sauce, and I prefer the darker brown sauce (not sure of the name). But this is the lighter version. It's still good, but just not my preference. Their pho ga is well-sized and flavorful, and filled with noodles and chicken. It's definitely one of my favorite pho ga. The broth is not as rich as some, but it's definitely not light. On my second visit, I had the bun. The grilled pork was out-of-this world good, and I love the crispy shallot topping. There was one grilled shrimp in the pork option (which is fine) and it was slightly overcooked. But the noodles were perfect and there plenty of fresh vegetables and herbs. I'm not the biggest cha gio fan, but Pho 7's version is crispy with plenty of meat, and I'd eat this version again. Nuoc mam is good and not too overpowering, as some can be. Nothing saddens me more than a poorly executed bowl of pho. The broth is sweet and made for the crowd they are trying to attract (not Vietnamese people). The dac biet isn't legit at all. It only consists of flank, brisket and meatballs. No tripe, no tendon, no nothing. Why even bother making pho if you can't do it right? Why lie to a patron? The first bowl of Pho for 2015 was at Pho 7. As others mentioned it did take a bit longer than usual to get my bowl of pho. But once delivered the broth was hot and smelled wonderful ! After a long vacation without Asian food, I was totally craving a bowl of delicious brothy Asian soup. Since Tysons Corner is seriously lacking some good Chinese restaurants, pho was my next best option. Pho 7 is conveniently located right on Route 7 in a plaza with plenty of parking. It's about 1pm, the crowd was pretty thin, so I was seated and served right away. I had a simple Pho Tai. The broth was delicious, and the meat was tender. Although, it would've been nice if there was more meat. All in all, it was fast service, decent food, and the restaurant looks well kept. Not a bad spot for a quick lunch.
