I thought I'd try another new vietnamese spot today on my way home from my dentist appointment, saw this place had lunchbox meal deals for a decent price so I ordered online for pickup! I got the chicken satay, and it was reaaaally good! Only 2 pieces but they were really big ones. The peanut sauce was less thick than most places but it's probably one of my favorites I've had. I LOVE the lunchbox meal options! It's a good way to get a somewhat healthy balanced meal with a protein, some jasmine rice, a salad, and a spring roll with peanut sauce all in one without having to order everything separately for 5x as much. I chose the triple ginger box with chicken, and shrimp for the spring roll choice. It was amazing and good portion sizes!

First time eating here & should have read the reviews. Started with the fresh summer rolls - rice paper was on the hard side. Ordered the 2 protein vercimelli bowl (chicken & pork) definitely not grilled & under cooked. Italian dressing was literally poured on my pickled carrots/radish. Took 4-5 bites of appetizer & main dish and couldn't stomach the rest. Once you've had authentic VN food from Eden you know how the flavoring should be. I couldn't take pictures of the food I ordered because the nice server kept looking. I definitely would not recommend this place. Food is horrible.

Local Vienna favorite for delicious Vietnamese cuisine - I especially love their varied (and priced right!) lunch menu. Service is always friendly and it's great to see so many regulars dining here - I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We just got kicked out of this dump at 6 PM because they reached their capacity. On a Saturday.

Take down your Christmas decorations. It's almost February. I will NEVER patronize this place again. We were booted tonight because supposedly they had "reached their capacity" at 6 pm on. Saturday night. What does that mean? And why are there four 4-tops and two 2-tops available? Only take out available/ as if I would EVER come here again. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. Especially since Vienna rallied around them during the PANDEMIC, which is OVER. We are going to PHO HAI DUONG. Nice and clean and great service. Never again.

When I crave Viet food and in a crunch for time, I often will come here. They have a pretty extensive menu including traditional Viet dishes to pho. They also have a lunch menu with a good amount of dishes to pick from. The lunch boxes come with a salad, your choice of roll - spring roll or summer, rice and of course, your entree. My favorites are the ginger chicken and the shaky beef. My friend loves their pho - I haven't tried but it looks and smells delicious. Service is good but sometimes understaffed. If it's busy, it can take a bit of time. No biggie, just know that if it's during lunch rush, you can wait a bit.

Food was very bad! I had the pho and when it was brought out to me, I could see that the noodles were from an instant noodle package as they had not separated and melted into the hot soup yet and were still in their packaged shape. Once I got them separated, they were very bad....thin and not like the thicker noodles I normally see in pho. There was very little meat in the soup, probably about three thin slices. Mostly liquid and the instant noodles. Won't be going back.

I got pho to go on a cold rainy day! I ordered pho with Rib eye, flank and brisket. The receptionist was very nice and polite! I ordered it at the checkout counter and then sat at the nearest table while they made the order. The aesthetics were dim lighting, with tiling, some plants and the honour shrine worked into the checkout counter. The food didn't take that long to make. I think I waited about 6 minutes for the to-go order. When I got back to work, I unpacked everything in the photo below. The broth was really tasty! The size was really good! I made one pho cooking the meat and then put in the remaining noodles and other ingredients to have a second meal later on shift. I'm a fan for Viet Aroma and will be back!

This place is a good place to get your Vietnamese food fix. My husband and I got the spring rolls, appetizer pho and the grill your way. Overall we thought it was good Viet food for the Vienna area.

I believe they may. And they may also have specials. Either way, it’s a cozy place with great prices and excellent food.

Multiple times when you try to modernize a traditional dish or a cuisine it can go terribly wrong, that is not the case with NUE. They have stayed true to authentic Vietnamese flavors with a modern a very unique twist. I have dined in multiple, so this review is long overdue. I have tried pretty much the whole menu and the stand outs for me are: - pho pate- mind blowing dish, this is a must! - seafood cha gio- absolutely delicious, I have driven 30 min just to order these! - crispy whole fish- this is another must! - short rib parpaddle- love the Vietnamese twist on this dish - Yuca cake- the best way to end the meal! I recently visited to try their restaurant week menu, which was also outstanding.

This place is almost certainly better than our experience. But I can only review the visit I had,…read moreso consider this a provisional review--one I hope to update after giving Nue another try. The evening started with parking at the Foundry Row garage in the building next to the restaurant. It isn't free, and paying for it involves something of a gauntlet of QR codes, authorization numbers, and, as I recall, an app. You scan something when you enter the garage, get an authorization code at the restaurant, and then enter that--along with your license plate number--to pay for parking. None of this is Nue's fault, of course, but it is something customers should be prepared to deal with. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and were told that our table was being cleaned and would be ready in two or three minutes. Forty-five minutes later, after standing in the crowded bar the entire time, we were finally seated. We asked several staff members why things were so backed up. The best explanation we got was that the restaurant was trying out a new all-you-can-eat option and was still working out the kinks. Hold that thought. The all-you-can-eat experiment is going to come up again. A waiter appeared a few minutes after we were seated, and I ordered a Wood Dragon--the closest thing on the cocktail menu to a Manhattan--and the Imperial Wagyu Zabuton. My drink arrived about 30 minutes later. It was actually very good: nicely balanced, with layers of flavor, and a very credible variation on a Manhattan. Except... As I sipped it while waiting for my food, I noticed it was becoming watered down much faster than I would have expected. It was almost as though the large ice cube hadn't been cold enough to begin with, or the finished drink had been sitting around for a while before it reached me. Either explanation would be consistent with a restaurant struggling with the unexpected demands of a new all-you-can-eat program. By the time my dinner arrived, what had started as a very good cocktail had become a glass of brownish, Manhattan-flavored water. The Wagyu was OK, but it had some issues. The dish was at its best when I combined pieces of beef with the squash and not-at-all-spicy peppers. Together, they produced a wonderful combination of flavors and textures. Unfortunately, my plate contained only two small pieces of squash and three small pieces of pepper. The portion of beef also seemed smaller than what was pictured on the menu but still more than could be accommodated by the other elements. That meant that much of my dinner consisted simply of pieces of admittedly tasty--but somewhat fatty, even for Wagyu--beef. It was still good. It was also a little boring. Again, I'm inclined to attribute the shortcomings to the strain of the new all-you-can-eat program, or perhaps to the now-late hour and a kitchen trying to wind things down. One definite positive was the staff. Setting aside the substantial delays, everyone we dealt with was pleasant and helpful. One of the managers even stopped by our table to apologize for the wait. It was especially nice that everyone was so nice because, with a MANDATORY 20% service fee, they really didn't have to be. The manager also mentioned that Nue is working to expand into the space next door to increase its seating capacity. My concern is that unless the kitchen expands along with the dining room, adding more customers clamoring for food may not solve the problems we experienced. My recommendation to you is to do what we're going to do: give Nue a little time to work out the kinks, then try it (again). There was enough good food and enough promise here that I'm not ready to judge the restaurant based on one unusually chaotic night. There is one exception. If you--and everyone you're dining with--have HUGE appetites, you may want to go right now and order the all-you-can-eat option. For the entire time we were at our table, a young (and surprisingly svelte) couple at the table next to us received an apparently endless parade of plates heaped with all manner of delicious-looking food. Plate after plate after plate. Because... all you can eat.
