Edit: Forget the bad stuff below: the staff is quick, the food is awesome. Three star review? What the hell was my problem?! Three star review, may upgrade it to four as time goes on. The food is worthy of a four, but the wait service was terrible. It took fifteen minutes to even look at menus, despite being one of five parties there at lunch time with four staff members, two of whom stood behind the register for most of our meal, despite needing menus, drinks and a check at various times! The pho is pretty great, clear and tasty broth, decent meat, though I'm up for trying the tendon next time. (It's my favorite, but apparently pretty hard to do well.) Also tried the crab cheese wontons, they were very, very good - scallions in the cream cheese paste is a nice touch! The dough was fresh and delicious. So I'm conflicted. It's wonderful to have a good pho place in town again after Zoo Sushi changed owners and stopped their pho (despite being some of the best I've ever had) and I get some of the opening-weekend jitters, so we will just have to see how it goes down in the future. Finally! A delicious, ethnic, clean restaurant in Castle Rock that serves authentic, non-greasy Asian food. I used to live in a Vietnamese neighborhood with Pho restaurants on almost every corner, and this one could hold its own in the most ethnic of neighborhoods, much less in Castle Rock. We started with the Spring Rolls, refreshing and light and had shrimp and pork vermicelli noodle bowl. I know, not Pho, but when Vietnamese egg rolls are included in a dish at no extra cost, I can't resist. We went for an early dinner and tables were filling up fast, and all the guests looked satisfied with their choices - all Pho. Staffing was a little short handed but they were attentive, courteous, and the restaurant is clean. I will be frequenting this spot and suggest you do too! read more

Despite a new pho place that has opened closer to our house in Castle Pines, we still prefer to eat in or take out from Pho 777 in Castle Rock. All the dishes are generous portions, very tasty, and incredibly affordable. The location is central to plenty of other shopping, if that's part of your agenda. If I can become the duchess here when I was in town for just a few days, you know the place is great! Honestly, when we first tried it, my hopes weren't all that high because we had recently tried several different pho spots in our new home that were such a disappointment compared to where we fell in love with pho in the Pacific Northwest. We've missed it quite a bit -- when we were in the PNW, we'd probably go out for pho once a week if not just 3 times a month...then, in our new home, we just stopped going to pho because it just didn't measure up. Pho 777 DOES measure up to the pho of the PNW though! We were pleasantly surprised! The broth is good, the noodles correct, a good choice of toppings...HOORAY!!! The other dishes are amazing too. The shrimp spring roll -- VERY good. I LOVED that they had a great drink menu here too. Not only do they have Thai Iced Tea (one of my favorites, and a great tea flavor here), but they have a bunch of other yummy drinks (try the first one on the drink menu (cafe sua?)) AND smoothies too! AND...they have boba!!! AND... the boba is actually GOOD!! I've had my fair share (maybe more than fair) of bad boba, but here it's not gooey, not hard, but just right. Really, I feel like Goldilocks finding such a great spot...too bad we were only here on vacation! My toddler loved it here too. Had this pho earlier this year in February and have just now decided to review it. I ever since then I can't get it out of my head that this is the best pho I've have ever had! The seasoning and consistency of the broth made it superior to all others that I have tasted. The portion of noodles and meat was excellent as well. We were driving up from Manitou Springs, CO and decided to stop by the outlets in Castle Rock. Were hungry first, so our go-to app of course is Yelp :) This was listed on as nearby restaurants and we were wanting something Asian. I ordered a large bowl with rare steak and brisket, which is my usual order for pho restaurants. Like I stated above, it was excellent in every way. The service was quick and friendly and the restaurant itself was nice and clean. Highly recommended for those wanting Vietnamese food. They also serve other Vietnamese dishes besides pho. A couple years ago this was under different management. Now I love the place. Food is great. Workers are awesome. Food is a little pricy for my whole family but portions are good. The food, wait staff, atmosphere ans cost, was good. Food: The shrimp spring rolls were good. The shrimp was fresh and same with the veggies. what kept the rolls from being great was that they had too many noodles. The Tai Pho was very good. The broth was a little mild but was great quality. The beef was very high quality and was delicious. This was the same of all the veggies which made the Pho a great dish. My family had crab cheese wontons, tai pho, and sesame chicken. Although I did not have any the wontons had visible lump crab meat and looked very good. The sesame chicken looked very good and smelled nice. Service: Even though the restaurant was busy, the wait staff was friendly, fast, and responsive. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was ok. It doesn't give the impression of a high end restaurant but it is comfortable, clean, and efficient. The paintings help with the atmosphere and give guests something to discuss. Being new to Castle Rock, we are hard-pressed to find our go-to Pho spot. I am from the Bay Area originally so I have pretty high standards for all Asian cuisine. Pho 777 has friendly staff, a clean establishment, and their food is quite good. I'm not gushing over it but it will certainly pass as our go-to local joint. Okay, the food was AWESOME, and service was good. But, the food was also the problem. I am very sensitive to MSG and have become good at asking if n establishment uses it, if they do, I move on. It didn't even dawn on me to ask them, most places (especially around here) don't use it anymore as its so bad for you and so many have a sensitivity to it. Sure enough, the day after I chowed down on some delicious noodles and broth (no wonder it was so good), I was welcomed with open arms to migraine city. When I realized how I got it, I called to verify and sure enough.. they use MSG in their brothS. What a shame, and I really wish places would label allergens for people. This is a hidden gem in Castle Rock. I had the seafood Pho, and it was fantastic! Portion size was perfect. I ordered take out and the restaurant was busy. I only had to wait about 7 minutes so I enjoyed a beer. They have some bottled beers and also many great drinks like an avocado smoothie! The staff is incredibly friendly, and accommodating. The service here is lacking to say the least. The servers were more interested in watching arm wrestling on YouTube behind the counter than serving food or caring what was going on. The place is pretty beat up and seems run down/not clean. The food is below average at best. The egg rolls come out on a huge bed of lettuce, noodles, carrots, etc... For 2 small egg rolls. The wrapper is over cooked and not flaky like a good egg roll should be. The filling looks like mystery meat because it has been deep fried for so long. If you want a good SE Asian egg roll, look at Phillipino Lumpia, that is how it should be done. The Thai Iced Tea had almost no sugar, which the sugar/sweetness is what makes Thai Iced Tea to counteract the pungent flavor of the tea itself. It is also served with whip cream for some odd reason, which in 20+ years of eating Thai/SE Asian food I have never seen that. The Pho Tai was decent. The beef was too thick and was completely cooked before it got to me. Good assortment of veggies to toss in, but no chili paste!?!? Maybe I am spoiled coming from the PNW where we have a Pho shop on every corner, but this is a place I won't return to. I will drive to other parts of Denver for better Pho than this. read more

This is a great restaurant. I have eaten here probably 30 times in total, and the experience is consistently good. It's official, this place has created a new craving for me. I love their pho! I am new to pho though, so this review lacks comparison and why I avoided tossing out 5 stars. It took me a couple visits to get the combination of ingredients I really like, but now that I have I am totally hooked. Service has always been quick for us, both eating in and for take out. We have tried a couple of the spring roll appetizers and they were good, my husband has tried one of the pork rice dishes and he would give it about a 3.5 out of 5 (some of the pork pieces were a little over cooked but the flavors were good). Overall the value seems good especially for the pho serving sizes. So happy to have something other then burgers in castle rock! read more

The bathroom was old and dirty, even the waiters clothes were full of big visible food stains. Didn't see any women working there, perhaps the men don't know the importance of sanitation?
