I just ordered for pickup from Toss Asian for the first time last night and was very pleasantly surprised. We live in Sedalia, and I was just looking for close Asian food for pickup while I was getting gas in town. Toss Asian was the closest, and I was a little nervous because I usually pick restaurants based on reviews instead of just location. We ordered the combination fried rice, orange chicken, cashew chicken, potstickers, and spare ribs. First of all, the chicken dish portions were ENORMOUS! I was expecting a little box like that the rice comes in, and it was easily three times the size of those boxes, enough for 3-4 people. The combination fried rice was packed with different meats and absolutely delicious. Huge portions. Fresh, hot, and spectacular. And they threw in a bag of very tasty fried dessert things for free. New favorite Asian restaurant and such a bonus that it's nearby. read more

I've ordered from here several times. Tonight we got beef lo mein and the beef was completely raw on several pieces. I called for a refund and the lady argued saying she can't do that. She claimed she cooked it even though I have several pictures of it being completely raw. asked for a refund and she said no I can give you a free lo mein next time. Zero customer service to work with a long time customer. I will be going elsewhere from now on. could've easily been handled with a refund and instead she wanted to argue with me since she cooked the meat and thought it was fine. read more

First visit to Toss. 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday a few weeks ago. No one behind the counter or in the lobby. I call out "Hello" twice. I can hear someone in the back but no response. I finally notice a bell on the counter at the host stand. I ring it. No response. I wait a minute or two, look at the menu. I hear more voices gathering and babble in the back. stopped coming to this restaurant about two years ago because the service and the food was terrible. We tried coming back since then and it seemed better so we came to this restaurant several times, but we noticed it was going downhill again and one thing we also noticed it was always empty of people eating in there. Besides that the owner's kids would be running around in the restaurant or in the kitchen, screaming making our meal very unsettling. Today I went with a very important business associate for lunch. The service was terrible. The food was cold and I've had it. I will never come back to this restaurant again. It is totally terrible!! Here In Castle Rock there's some great Chinese restaurants that I will go to, but I will not go to this place anymore and I advise other people if you want a good Chinese restaurant, this is not the place to go. read more

I've lived i this town for about 7 years and never been to Toss Asian; in part because of the low reviews on Yelp. But I was craving Chinese food, so I ordered for delivery. 5 stars for everything. Delivery was early. For was very tasty. Portions were very generous. Even the white rice was really well done. The Mongolian beef isn't the typical Mongolian beef that I'm used to, but different can be good, and I enjoyed this dish a lot. The egg rolls are a Winner too. read more

Honestly just wasn't very good. The food was almost completely tasteless. Our waitress was very rude and didn't turn the lights on in the dining room for us and we ate in the dark. The place itself is dirty and dingy and I'm scared of what the kitchen looks like if the dining area looks like that. Won't be coming back. read more

$30 worth of food out the window. Scallion pancakes have no scallion and was just a breaded deep fried dough with sauce. Crispy rolls just had cabbage in them and were the size of a finger. Sweet and sour chicken didn't really have chicken. It was more of small chicken pieces in breaded dough with most pieces not even having chicken in them. Ordered some delivery and was pleasantly surprised! Wife had sesame tofu and I had Szechuan chicken. Wontons, egg rolls, miso, the works. I thought the quality was great for delivery and the chicken was tasty, vegetables were excellent, and the sauce wasn't too heavy. Yum. I ended up eating some sesame tofu too which was just like sesame chicken but with tofu that had been fried. Tasty! Egg rolls and wontons were no frills but right on the money. Great value, nice workers, and great food. Will order again! Never been into the strip mall it is located in but gives you that proper Chinese takeout vibe. read more

3 Stars and disappointing fried rice. Order placed at 6:10p - First time guest, ordered via BeyondMenu app for pickup. Upon arrival, my order was ready to go and the lady repeated my order which was two entree's, steamed rice and a large fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken was okay, with quite a bit of oil that drained off the fried chicken pieces. I also ordered chicken with steamed vegetables and it is being refrigerated to eat tomorrow for lunch. The steamed rice was fine, but the large fried rice was simply steamed rice with soy sauce....it wasn't fried at all and had no vegetables in it as shown on the BeyondMenu app. I was really disappointed that I paid $5 for what should have been fried rice, but was steamed with soy sauce. The food was packaged fine for travel back home for dinner. I'm glad I ordered "to go", there wasn't a soul in the entire restaurant beyond the one lady who appeared from the back with my order. With that, I'm not sure I'll be returning for awhile, it just wasn't the experience I expected, even if it was for a pick-up order. The restaurant was clean in the dining room, but was empty. Tried them for the 1st time. Placed delivery order at 11am when they opened got a response "Delivery Time 45Min". They were just a little past that. Ordered the Lunch Sweet & Sour Chicken, 1 Egg drop soup, 1 Miso soup and 1 Sweet & Sour sauce. Guess it does not come with the lunch. Opened the bag missing the Egg Drop Soup. Attempted to call rang several times no answer. Did the Online Contact via email. No response. Called and reached someone, and he said I had my soup. Clearly I did not. He sounded like he would send it right over. Waited 30min (as I live 3 miles away in Castle Rock). replacement soup never arrived. Call them back, now I am expecting a refund for the $4.95. Hope to get it. Disappointed with this experience. read more

We have ordered from Toss Asian for 20 years. Last week we placed an order for delivery, they told us it would be an hour for delivery. ok... An hour and 15 minutes later I called to see where our order was, the owner was very rude and told us it would be there in 15 minutes, then hung up on me. we waited another 20 minutes and no order...called back and she said it was on its way, I told her she told me that 20 minutes ago no she hung up on me again. Then my husband called to tell them to forget the order and she hung up on him! He proceeded to call her back to tell her she beat refund our money and told her it was very rude to hang up on us. She hung up on him again. VERY Unprofessional!! That is not how you deal with a Customer, we will never order from them again. read more

We just ate here last week for the first time. We had lunch and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. I had the cashew chicken and my husband had the pork with baby bok choy in black bean sauce. Both our meals came with stir-fried rice, soup, egg roll and a special cheese treat. We went all in and got the family meal with the soup, appetizer platter, and entree, and will enjoy a meal for lunch the next day. Al for only $43... we always say it's near impossible to to go to dinner for under $60 for two in Castle Rock. So this was a good deal. I started out with Egg drop soup, and it was so delicious I had to pick up the bowl and sip the last drop out. My wife had the wonton soup and enjoyed it. The platter had beef, wontons, chicken wings, shrimp and egg rolls! Definitely worth the $3.00 upgrade. We then enjoyed the Thai coconut shrimp curry and sesame chicken. All in all a great meal with plenty of leftovers. This is our third time visiting and we have loved the Thai selections. We will be back! read more

Just ordered takeout for the first time from Toss and the food was decent. Ordered the wonton soup and the wontons had about a teaspoon of filling. The eggs rolls and crab wontons were good and crispy but the wontons lacked crab. Also ordered the hot and sour soup which heavily lacked flavor. Overall, might try it again. read more

I've been a loyal customer to this restaurant for almost 16 years. Even when they get flack online, I always defend them and recommend the restaurant to others. I just placed an online order and it arrived one hour early. As a result, took us about one minute to answer the door. We were in the backyard and we weren't expecting anybody so early. The driver (an employee of the restaurant) started to belittle me in front of my children saying that he'd been waiting at the front door and nobody answered. I informed him he was an hour early and asked why that happened. I asked him what they could do in the future so this wouldn't happen again,; seeing that he was clearly mad that we didn't answer the door immediately. Side-note, via GrubHub they were told to just leave the order on the porch and text me. He then went on to ask me if I felt he should kiss my ass to make things better...then told me to F off. I have this all recorded on my security camera. I called the restaurant to explain to them what just happened and they hung up on me. Good food, but I will never frequent that place again. I'm disappointed to say that because I've enjoyed their food for so long. read more

Both portions were large and felt like a great deal for the price! You get soup, a vegetable spring roll, and a cheese wonton with both meals. The egg drop soup was good, standard for a place like this. Spring roll and sauce were also good. The Szechuan chicken came with a lot of veggies which we appreciated, was probably medium spice level. Pork lo mien was not spicy, tasty as well. We'll come back! I work Door Dash and they left out a part of an order so when I drove all the way back to get it the woman at the counter argued with me even after I showed her the customers order on Door Dash.
