I absolutely love the Pho here. The broth is delicious and very rich in flavor and they have 3 different sizes, small, medium and large for you to choose from and so many different combinations of either meat, chicken, or veggies you can add to your broth. I always end up getting just a small and that's more than enough. I like that they have different sauces on the table that you can mix together to dip your meat in. They have many other things that you could choose from on the menu, but I enjoyed the pho so much I tend to just get that when I'm there. Service is hit or miss here but don't let that deter you. read more

Omg I was so upset because like did they expect me to heat it up at home??? Like the whole point of takeout is to not worry about dishes or heating up! I ordered the small #30 (eye round rare steak, beef flank, beef brisket, $8+) and it really hit the spot. The beef was generously portioned, perfectly cooked, and I especially liked how thinly sliced it was. If you like heat, a few slices of jalapeño add a kick without muddying the broth. You can choose from three different sizes so there is less food waste too! Service is fast, and the restaurant is tidy with both indoor and outdoor dining spaces. The plaza where the restaurant is located is agglomeration at it's finest. You can get pho here for lunch, stroll around the corner for snow ice, stock up on Asian groceries at FoodTown, and then pop over to the next plaza for boba tea for the road. As an ABC living in Brickell where authentic Asian food is pretty much non-existent, this plaza is a saving grace. You can gleefully stuff in a week's worth of Asian-ness in one afternoon. read more

This is my go to pho place when I am in the area. I do enjoy coming here and the service is okay. It is located in a shopping strip. I usually order a bowl of traditional pho. You can't go wrong with that choice if you are not to sure what you want to order. Flavor of broth is great and I do add spicy sauce and the sweet sauce with it., and don't forget the veggies they give you. It makes everything taste great. I sometimes would order the shrimp summer rolls with the peanut sauce if I am a bit hungry. Rice platter they offer are also a great choice if you aren't into soups. Always passed by this restaurant whenever I went food shopping at FoodTown. Figured I'd give it a shot. Not sure if it's just me but Asian people do not show the same attentiveness and courtesy to other Asians. Walked in and there was one person clearing a table and three other presumed employees dawdling among themselves. The three paid no mine to us and finally the person clearing the table gestured for us to sit anywhere. Sat for a good 10 minutes after deciding what to eat with no one stopping by. FINALLY an employee walked in from outside and immediately asked if our order has been taken and I responded no one has ever stopped by. Maybe I misunderstood the concept of the restaurant and you have to order your food at the desk and then sit down to eat. I decided on the BBH to compare to Brandon Cuisine on the other side of the supermarket. I tasted the broth and it was edible but only slightly above warm. Though, the broth was not spicy at all which is the essence of BBH and I had to add extra garlic chili. Positives are in the veggies. They provide a generous plate of different herbs and veggies and even had chopped banana flower which not all places usually have. Overall, the restaurant is spacious and even includes a covered outside patio though I can't imagine sitting outside eating hot soup in the Florida humidity and heat. It's conveniently located next to the supermarket so you can do your shopping after eating. I may give this place a second chance and try the pho instead and hope for better service--though I'm not in a rush. read more

Don't judge a book by the cover...the outside looks a little drabby, but the inside is clean and appealing. This place is located in the shopping plaza that Food Town anchors and this place is amazing. Had the Spring Rolls for $4.50 wich were really fresh; the sauce was ok...it was basically Hoi Sin sauce with crushed peanuts, and I've had better, but still, the freshness made it very ejoyable. Ordered the Deluxe Pho bowl, medium size for $9.45 and they added $1.00 that includes the tripe, rare beef, meat balls and other goodies. For $10.45, it's a really light and filling amout, and just enough so you don't fall asleep in the afternoon. Their large size is $12.00 plus $1.00 for the deluxe version. It's a larger bowl with more meat and pho but I imaigne most people won't be able to finish it. The broth was good, but was lacking a little flavor overall. Been meaning to try this place since I first saw it. It's located in a strip mall featuring many Asian businesses. We always shop at the grocery store there and finally decided to try this place. I ordered a large #25. It's got round eye rare steak and beef brisket along with some veggies. It is a lot of soup. After transferring to a large bowl I reheated it in the microwave then put the ingredients in the broth to cook. The meat came out tender and the soup as a whole was very good and very filling. There was way too much lemongrass for my liking so I only used a little. See the photos. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes. Social distancing could be better inside the restaurant and the staff is wearing masks and gloves but the tables are too close together. They do have outdoor seating but it does not look like it's part of the restaurant. I'll keep doing takeout. Just writing this makes me want to get another bowl. read more

This is one of the only places in south Florida. I frequented both locations before I realized they were related. Super authentic, just as good as the pho I ate while in Asia. My first time trying this place in the area, I usually go to the one in Boynton. They have the same menus and food items. I usually order the pho ga ( chicken ). At this location the chicken is more chewy, but the broth was more flavorful. The portion sizes are good it goes from a small to a large most places only do one size. It's very filling with the amount of noodles and meat. The service is very attentive, very quick. I'm from Orange County, CA where pho restaurants are abundant and competitive. After our cruise vacation we decided to pop in here for lunch to try their Vietnamese food in South Florida. We came in on a Saturday for lunch. The waiter instantly knew we were not locals because he said locals come here frequently for lunch and he knew all their faces. This gave us a good impression. They had pho in three sizes: small ($8), medium ($9), and a large ($10). I went with a small pho bo vien. I thought the broth was good but nothing special. The noodles were a little undercooked. I enjoyed it though. My dad got the large size and it was ginormous. Probably the biggest pho bowl I had ever seen in my life. Other people in my family heard the bun bo hue was good here and one of them ended up ordering that. She said it wasn't good because it lacked flavor. One of my other family members went with a rice dish that included one fried egg, pork, egg rolls, tomato and cucumbers. The rice dish looked good but tasted nothing special. The prices were a little high compared to the prices we charge where we are from but that was fine. The service was very good. The guy serving us was very nice and friendly. He took his time to chat with us for awhile and made us feel welcomed. One of our family members had a wheelchair and they were very accommodating. Our food came out very fast. It is only about 15-20 minutes away from me...how did I not know about this place? That's the best thing about Yelp.....The more that you read, the more things you will know, the more you learn, the more places you'll go - Dr. Seuss. Pho 79 is located in a strip Mall which made parking very convenient. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted right away and led to our booth. This place is not fancy and I couldn't have cared less after the meal, service and prices! Our waitress thought we might of been there before or knew about Vietnamese cuisine because as soon as she came to the table she said; "Are you ready?"....unfortunately, this was not only our first time here but our first time eating Pho. We ordered two appetizers to start, and to give us a few minutes to look at the menu. We ordered the Spring Roll (2 pieces, $4.50) and the Egg Roll (4 pieces, $5). The Spring Rolls were fresh and pretty big. They had 3 big shrimp each, and flank steak. The peanut sauce was delicious. The Egg rolls were small but filled and they were hot!. They came with the sweet and sour sauce but we used the peanut sauce to dip them as well. I also ordered the Passion Fruit Lollicup, it's a smoothie with Boba balls and whip cream. SO GOOD!!!! We ordered the Small ($7.95) and Large ($10.50) Pho Soup, eye round rare steak and beef brisket, vermicelli noodles. The waitress brought a plate of cilantro, lemon, green peppers and crunchy noddles. I added some to mine. My friend put hot sauce in it. Pho 79 is the best pho in South Florida so far. You won't find so cal prices here, but it's not super expensive. Small is $7.95 Medium is $8.95 Large $10.50 There is a good amount of beef in each bowl, but I like to split an additional plate of beef sometimes. When you order an extra plate it comes out raw, which helps avoid overcooking the beef. The plate of beef had an impressively even red color. The beef is also thickish, but not overly thick. They provide an acceptable amount of asian basil, culantro, limes, jalapeño slices, and bean sprouts. As always, I'd want a ton of cilantro but a lot of places don't put it in their soup. The spring rolls/cha gio were very small and just okay. Service was friendly. Most of them are young and will have no problem conversing in English if needed. There's a Vietnamese sandwich shop next door and the Asian supermarket, Foodtown, in the same complex which is convenient. *I don't like that they have a weird statement on the menu (see photo) that says that they charge extra if an additional bowl, spoon, or chopsticks are requested. I feel like a restaurant should be accommodating to all their customers, especially with such simple requests. Are they really making less profit because someone wanted an extra plate? *We asked for an extra bowl and spoon for the toddler in our party and I'm not sure if we were charged or not because they do not provide itemized receipts. Other restaurants have been really nice and have automatically given us a non-breakable bowl, spoon, and even scissors for cutting the pho noodles when there's a child at the table. read more

My go to place for soup. Weather I'm sick or there a scold front in Florida my body just crazy pho. But not just pho from anywhere, pho here! My Vietnamese friends told me that this is about as authentic as they can get. They have outside seating which is perfect for when I have my dog with me. They also have a variety of boba to choose from for some sweets. Rating the pho broth and super friendly staff a 5/5. Dined in and ordered a medium brisket and flank pho with a side order of egg rolls. The broth was delicious. Egg rolls were plain but still pretty good. Though the food was great, the 3 star rating is for finding hair in my food, twice. First one under the lettuce in my egg roll plate and second was a piece of hair intertwined in one of my briskets in my pho. I get slightly grossed out finding hair in my food but I figured, "heyy a little hair didnt hurt anyone", so I just did not eat the food the hair touched/was found on (except the pho broth, there was no going back, I was hungry!)
