I haven't came here for a while but when I came back everything was amazing. They completely redesign the restaurant adding nice ambient light to the table. Also, there was a really nice mural on the wall. And the food was just perfect. Service was excellent as well. All around, I got a glowing recommendation for this place

Bestie finally took me to this busy spot and I can see why. The pho is the hit here but who knew it could come it different sizes. The choices are still all good choices and can suit anyone's dietary needs mostly. We started with the eggrolls but I found them a little.ocercooked and dry but the Thai tea made up for it and the medium sized pho was still enough to take home. All in all great spot for some good pho and tea. Warm bellies are happy bellies.

100% authentic Vietnamese spot. The staff is Asian, very respectful and welcoming, which makes the experience feel genuine. Highly recommend the Pho #32 with flank, brisket, and beef fat -- super flavorful broth. Add fish sauce, eel sauce, and a little spice to level it up. Great portions for the price. The medium is more than enough... the large is major league size The vibe is casual and college-style since it's very close to FIU, so it's perfect for students and quick comfort food. Definitely coming back!

The place is clean, yet theres the loud buzzing of the freezer at work in the background. There's 1 speaker of music playing and there is good lighting. However the bowls and utensils such as the spoons are not clean. The service is also not good. The employees are all young, in their teens and just standing around like they don't know what to do or do their jobs to check up or take our order. Had to bother a waiter to take my order like it was a crime. The food is also terrible. The broth is diluted and not strong or filling. The scent of star anise was like tossed in without consideration of the flavors. The broth needs to be cooked longer or even overnight to bring out that Phở flavor. The noodles were not fully cooked either. There is a good portion of meat given though. I don't recommend the place.

There is a fly inside my soup OMGGGGG and waiter didn't even apologize they just changed my soup??

Where do I start. I been going visiting this place frequently over the past year and every time I visit the prices go up. $19.00 for a small bowl of pho . They increase the price and kept the same portion size actually they give you less protein. The portion size was not larger. Nothing was better just a price increase. Lost all respect for this please and the owner . Will never return. Totally ruined my Father's Day weekend. Ambience average. Parking sucks. Boba way overpriced. Definitely not worth the visit or the money .

Prefer the other location. It was fine but wouldn't come back here. I've been to the other location 3x and I think the food was better there. Service was quick and good though.

This was my first time trying Pho, and it was interesting to say the least. There was an odd smell in the location, and the presentation was simple. I did not like the flavor and texture of the noodles. The service felt rushed.

Best Bun Bo Hue! Very authentic with an option to have it with pork feet and pork blood. So so good! Family owned and run. Service was quick and a great option if you need to be in and out and also want a hearty meal. Drooling writing this and was lucky to have had a home cooked meal. Free parking and plenty spaces available!

Monday late lunch. The restaurant has booths and tables and decor is minimal. You come here to eat and get out. Zero ambiance. The service was good and the meal was served promptly. The #31 beef pho medium was very good. Plenty of thin rare beef slices and lots of thin noodles. The broth was delicious. The seafood pho broth tasted like dishwater and only contained one shrimp in the medium size. The mini eggrolls were ok but a little dry. They don't have hot black tea but they have a variety of other teas. All are around $7 which I think is a little expensive. Actually, the prices were pretty steep on everything. For two phos, mini eggrolls and 2 spring rolls and no drinks the bill was $60 without tip. So be prepared to dish out $. I would return for the beef pho.

I've been coming to this location for about 5 years. Unfortunately it got the hype and the prices for the pho bowls went up (but understandably). #35 is my go to and i always order the shrimp rolls to top off my experience i leave with a boba taro in my hand. For two people it's about $70 but you can never go wrong with this place

This place has been open for many years. Food is always delicious here.. it was my go to my college days and whenever I'm in the area. Great sick, hungover, or feeling great day! I always get the Pho with everything in it. Service is always attentive and caring. It's a cool place for lunch break, solo date, or a date :)

Have they finally pick food delivery company yet?

Yes we use UberEats, DoorDash, and GrubHub for delivery and takeout.

Do they serve vegan banh mi sandwiches? With tofu?

I do not think so. But Banh mi cafe in Stirling does.

Do they offer any FIU discounts?

We thinking about that on nearest future, during this Covid season , we tried server our best even the cost of suppliers higher than normal.

    Do they deliver?

Thru Postmates only, but my delivery fee came up to the same price as the food, so i was disappointed.

Will Pho 79 consider opening a 3rd location further south?

it would be a great thing considering I frequented their locations to the north prior to opening Miami FIU. but this question is something the ownership of pho79 can answer

    Do you guys deliver?

    I highly doubt it.

Is the vegetarian pho vegan? Curious about the type of broth that is used?

I called and asked about this and they told me it's veggie broth so it's vegan! I haven't gone to try it yet but I definitely will!

Are the noodles for the vegetarian pho made with egg?

Pho noodles are made out of rice flour usually. No egg.

Is this owned/operated by the same family that opened Pho 79 in Davie?

    Yes

The service was great, our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good, not amazing. There were several memorable dishes such as the Short Rib Dumplings, the Crispy Duck Salad (bold) and the Char Siu which was pork chop in a dark chocolate glaze with cabbage. And since experiencing his Disney Springs restaurant Morimoto Asia, I had been looking forward for him to come to Miami. This was a couple of years back during the cooler season in Miami. RESTAURANT: I just know that this location is going to be beautiful. Chef Morimoto restaurants are worldwide and so I was not disappointed to see how beautiful this restaurant was and how perfectly complemented the vibe of the Wynwood scene. The restaurant doors open to the street, which was perfect during our winter visit. Inside is an open floor plan with a variety of seating options from the izakaya style table, banquet dining against the wall, to the huge bar. There are even covered seating outside that reminded me of New York. Decor is both minimal but with burst of colors with his signature wall art and backlit panels against the wall. And ofcourse, it won't be an authentic Japanese restaurant without the a display of hyper-realistic food models which can be found as soon as you enter the restaurant to entice your taste buds. Everything just looked sleaked and clean and love the pop of green from the huge fig trees. SERVICE: Service was amazing. From the moment we entered, we were greeted and seated right away for our reservation. Our server answered all of our questions and suggested some fruity cocktails. And lo and behold, owner Chef Morimoto himself presented us with our food and torched it right infront of us! He was so polite and humble and wonderful. We watched him moved from one side of the restaurant to the other with the endurance of a guy in his 20s and he's like 60 something! He did not stop. It was such a treat to have him in our table and how he indulged us when we chanted "Iron Chef! Iron Chef!". It was an amazing experience. FOOD: The menu have the right amount of options, from finger food to ramen, sushi and not to mention the drinks. For starters, pork belly and soft shell crab bao and bbq ribs. Deliciousness! The buns warm and pillowy. The pork, so tender. But that soft shell crab...that made me want to slap someone it was so good. Flavorful, no fishiness whatsoever, crunch on the outside and just happiness on the inside. I will eat a million of these. Then my friend ordered some Yakitori fresh from the grill: chicken, pork belly, shrimp, wagyu. They were simple, fresh and so fingerlicking good. Then the ramen; tonkotsu and gyukotsu. On this cold evening, it was exactly what we needed. These two huge bowls we passed around our table of six. The broth were divine! The pork belly was so delicate that it melts in your mouth. The beef falling off the bones were so tender and delicious. Sushi rolls: spider roll and the surf and turf. The spider roll with that soft shell crab was bomb. But the that A5 wagyu surf and turf was the star of the show. It comes out as raw slices on a roll and Chef Morimoto came out and torched it himself next to our table! I don't know if it tasted spectacular because it's wagyu or because the chef himself had torched it but this was my favorite! Overall, this was the most memorable dining experience I've had in a long time. I am sure that fangirling over the Iron Chef was the main reason but it seems that everything just fell into place for us that evening. Parking was literally next door in the garage, super easy no drama. Service was next level, maybe because the boss was there but we were not going to complain. And the food, impeccable! Pricepoint is just reasonable considering the quality, quantity and the location. It is definitely worth the trip coming here and I can't wait to visit again soon to see if everything will be the same without the Chef Morimoto around. I have a feeling it will be just as wonderful.
