Here's a breakdown of my experience: 1. **Pho Dac Biet**: The broth was overly salty, and the meat did not taste fresh. The amount of noodles was acceptable, but overall, it fell short. 2. **Spicy Beef Noodles (Bun Bo Hue)**: This dish used Pho broth with shrimp paste added, resulting in a very unpleasant smell. I hardly write Yelp reviews but use Yelp before eating at any establishment. This highly rated Pho place was completely overblown. Horrible customer service. I had to go through 3 people to explain that my Pho Ga (chicken pho) was over cooked. The owner/cook finally came out after going through 2 people- he could only replace the same over cooked chicken pho with another one but will not let me switch without charging me for the one I ordered. I didn't want to pay for another one so I asked him to replace the same chicken pho but requested to chop the chicken into smaller pieces since the big chunks tasted like rubber. I was just suggesting this method to see if it will improve it a bit since when you place cooked chicken breast into a hot boiling broth it is going to taste like rubber if you don't have the quality meat or prepare it wrong - the owner/ cook just kept jabbing back and forth with no intention on listening to my needs. The other chicken pho came with smaller pieces but the same issue - the quality of the chicken being used or the style is just not working out for this dish then the poor quality of service just made it a bad experience for me to finally share my view. read more

While undeniable that this new hit on the block serves up some pho-nomenal (since everyone's throwing around puns, I may as well too!) dishes, what's preventing this from being a full-blown five-star raver is its flavor. Many years back (without dating myself), I spent a good few months traveling around Southeast Asia and found myself constantly heading back to Vietnam precisely for its Pho. Nothing like a warm bowl of noodles and broth on a hot humid day to work those beads of sweat. Despite the heat, I couldn't stop wanting more. THAT'S good pho. Now, I know Miami ain't Ho Chi Minh. But after trying the real thing, it's hard for me to fully appreciate Pho 79. That's not to say that their dishes aren't good - hell I'd like to give them a prize for opening up so close to home to save me from always wanting to compulsively buy an air ticket back to Vietnam pho the pho. All I can say is, despite being so far away, they sure do serve up some delectable and extremely cash-worthy pho. Oh, even if you're not hungry, definitely get at least the medium. Looking for Fast Pho or Vietnamese food then this is the place for you. Been here a few times now at the sweetwater location across from FIU. I don't think nothing here is made to order. Everything seems to be premade and put together when ordered. I have gotten my appetizers and meal before my glass of water. It's not a bad thing if you're in a Hurry but if you're looking for Fresh Made Vietnamese food then this is Not The Place for You. It's Ok Nothing to Write Home About. I have gotten the rare beef pho it's ok lacking seasonings in my opinion and the beef short ribs. The large size bowl for every one and gave us three lemons, but it was not enough for me So I asked for two more but I got answered was extra$1 and I was surprised because no one would charge for two slices of lemon when I went to all the restaurants,We also have Togo order then another waitress comes over to tell us :your takeout is ready at the front desk ,and I was wondering if you could come over and tell me but you can't bring it to me ?why we paid tips?My friend was also unhappy because there was hair in the meat he ate,We feel terrible service about the restaurant! read more

This place is fantastic! Came looking for a good noodle bowl and got it. Great staff attention with prompt sitting. Covid guidelines were being followed with hand sanitizer station and ample spacing between tables. The salted Lemonade was a surprise of salty, refreshing sweet and lemon soreness all in one. Not sure how they did it. Food was hot and fresh. The aroma from the #30 Beef Pho bowl was warm, welcoming, cinnamon, anise, light and gentle. The Grilled Tofu bowl was ordered dry and the sauce coating the tofu was a great contrast to the fresh veggies. Highly recommend if looking for a good Pho! read more

If you go to this place tip the workers cash. There main guy who apparently manages entire restaurants accounts is named Jacky Truong. Company was in violation of diverting tips and shortaging hard working employees of there pay. Company owes each workers $4,839.27 dollars in backpay. I am very sure the food here is great but support these hard working employees especially during tough times of this Pandemic. This was actually my first time trying Vietnamese food but a friend recommended me to come here. I felt like I had a cultural shock on my tongue. Thank goodness for this place! It's everything I could've asked for and then some. I got a large and was stuffed before I could even finish half. However, for the price difference between the small and the large, it's makes more sense to just bring home the leftovers, cause with a large, you'll definitely have some. This place was great. A simple menu, Pho with your choice of topping and some drinks. They bring it quickly and then you can go up to the counter and pay. Lots of seating. Im so glad Pho 79 opened up near my location . The Pho broth is well balance and tasty . I always get the House special beef Pho soup, #34, and it never disappoint me. The summer rolls are amazing as well. Very fresh and I love the peanut sauce that goes along with it. The staffs are nice as well very helpful. I really enjoyed my meal here, I got a small house special bowl of pho and it tasted absolutely amazing. I did not really feel the environment was cozy but it was extremely clean.
