We came here on New Year's Day before heading to a nearby beach. It looks like the building used to be an old KFC, but there are plenty of parking spaces. Our party of 5 came during lunch time and it looked like we were the first people there. We ordered a tofu clay pot, a beef pho, a bbq pork plate, a bun Bo hue, and a veggie pho. Everyone liked their items but my partner did say that his bun Bo hue could have had more flavor. My veggie pho was good but it also could have had a little more flavor, though I appreciated the variety of veggies in the broth. The egg rolls had more meat than egg rolls we are used to while the crab Rangoon had a good amount of crab. Everyone enjoyed their plates, however, the drinks had sort of a mixup. I asked for a less sweet passionfruit boba but when I received it, it was so sweet I had to add water to dilute it. So I do think there could be some language barrier but overall our order was correct and everything was pretty good. Authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Solid bánh xèo (happy pancakes?) & got something kinda similar to soda chanh but using lemonade. Food was delicious reminds me of home. I noticed in another review that it used to be a kfc. They have a drive through window that's not in use. Nice little family owned Vietnamese restaurant in what used to be a Kentucky fried chicken. I ordered extra food and took some to go for later. I had the crispy pork rolls and the broken rice special with everything. This included vegetables, rice, Vietnamese, meatloaf/omelette, big pork chop, etc. It was quite tasty. The pork chop was a porterhouse cut, and the tenderloin section was very tender but the other section was a little on the tough side. The flavors were good. The food her is so good and fresh. They broth is my favorite part. No need for anything extra it's just right. I only add chili oil. Their banh mis are very good as well they are super crunchy, hot and fresh. The service is always quick as it is family owned.
