Think with all restaurants show dishes are better then others. But the namesake is on the mark, their PHO is amazing. And their carry out is great. They really make sure to keep everything separate and fresh! Even the spring rolls (which are yummy with and come with a undeniably addictive sauce ) make it home super crispy. Second time I've eaten here. Phō was great (I just wish they had Thai basil, but I'll survive ;-), the short ribs were okay. The staff is very nice, but PLEASE, hire more wait staff, at least during the lunch hour. We walked in, sat ourselves as directed but no menus were given to us, waters came almost 20 minutes after arriving, only a few minutes after our order was taken. In total, we sat there for 45 minutes before our food finally arrived. My parents will no longer be going back (they were "hangry"). I was here for a lunch date and I was pleased that it wasn't so busy on the lunch rush that I couldn't hear our conversation and we didnt have to speak over any noise. The tables weren't too close together either so we had privacy. It wasn't totally empty though, which is good for them I'm sure. I ordered the roast duck from the specials, but they were out, so I got chicken instead. It was still delicious and flavorful; crispy outside and buttery smooth inside. The portions were large enough that we both took our unfinished meals home for seconds. I'll definitely go back; I'm coming for the duck! I came here strictly for pho after seeing the positive reviews, however it was disappointing overall. I can't call it authentic if they don't serve culantro, tendon or tripe with their pho. The broth was very clear, but lacked the distinctive star anise and clove flavors. Even a slice of lime was enough to overpower the broth. At least it was lime and not lemon. If you're not used to authentic pho, but want a decent bowl of noodle soup, this place should suffice. If you want something closer to the real thing, look elsewhere. read more

Great place! It was fun, owner #1 was a fun guy. It was spectacularly clean, which is really important to me. I had a bun (not a bread roll, a type of noodle salad) that was very good. The Hawaiian fried rice was tasty, but the lemon grass vermicelli tasted like the bottom of a swamp

My wife and I generally agree to try a place out three times before making final judgment but we won't be coming back here. I've had cheap Chinese buffet food that has tasted better. She had Singapore noodles with tofu, I had a "vegetable curry" with tofu. Both dishes were completely tasteless. The "vegetable" curry was one of the most unpleasant presentations I've ever seen. The broth was completely separated with a greasy red layer of oil sitting on top and a thin layer of what I assume is coconut milk on bottom. The "vegetables" consisted entirely of a few chunks of potatoes which were indistinguishable from the chunks of tofu. The overall presentation, complete lack of flavor, and consistency of the potatoes/tofu made be want to gag on the first bite. My wife's dish was slightly better in presentation but also completely, totally lacked flavor. Our friend went to this place and said it was okay so we tried it out since we are vegetarian and absolutely love Asian food, which is hard to come by here in Las Cruces. Maybe their meat dishes are better. But I wouldn't take my worst enemy to this place for a meal. read more

Food is good but service is TERRIBLE. 2 serves in an empty restaurant yet it takes 15 minutes to finally get our drinks. The girls always have attitude and seem like they don't want to be there. Only one good server and it's the nice girl with glasses. Good job to her! But I suggest they look for new waitresses that actually want to do their job. Definitely want to order your meal To-Go! We too were so pleased to discover this Vietnamese restaurant, especially after such a disgusting meal at Pho Saigon. The staff is welcoming and we were made to feel very special. The staff is so knowledgeable about the very large and extensive menu. Our choices were delicious and plentiful. The chef came out twice to make sure we were pleased. I had a beef / egg noodle, veggie dish with a subtle sauce. Veggies such as broccoli were cooked to perfection. My wife's rice noodle pho was also nicely seasoned and bountiful. Great food! Great service! The restaurant is very clean. Authentic Vietnamese food! I was staying in a nearby hotel and had a craving for pho. Once again, yelp steered me in the right direction. I took my food to go and it was neatly packed in separate containers just like it should be. Everything was fresh and tasty. My daughter hasn't acquired the taste for pho yet, so I got her the grilled chicken banh mi. I went downstairs to get some bowls from the hotel kitchen and by the time I came back upstairs her banh mi was gone. One of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time. I ordered their special seafood udon and it was soooo delicious, even with REAL CRAB MEAT! Who would think? The udon noodles had good texture and perfectly cooked, and the broth was super flavorful. Then, their avocado smoothie was to die for!!! This place could easily be a 4.5 based on the food alone. The Pho is awesome, I tried the wonton egg noodle soup with pork and it was fantastic. Everyone in our party was happy with the food. Things we did not like: 1) Daughters meal came out first. She was 3/4 of the way thru her meal when the rest of us were served. 2) On their plates (not soups), they cut up the vermicelli into small pieces, making it very difficult to eat. Cant grab with a fork, falls off a spoon. 3) The restaurant is clean but it smells like cleaning fluid. 4) Since it is so new they are still working out kinks and the brunette waitress, though very pleasant, was not up on the menu as well as she could have been, so I assume she was brand new, but I have to say she did ask. The blonde waitress - louder than a thunder storm. She yells across the room, she heard a song on the radio so she had to go in the back to the karoke machine and start singing, she asks questions too loud to the customers standing right next to her. Seemed nice enough but overly loud and annoying. I think in her mind she was at a loud party. If not for her, our meal would have been 100% more enjoyable and I would have given 4 stars. My daughter was so annoyed it ruined her dining experience. The rest of us laughed it off but my son says he would do take out anytime and only eat in if shes not working. Owners very nice.
