The best we have found since Myn Ayn on Madison closed. Wife and I both had spring rolls (Goi Cuan) fresh and tasty followed by Grilled Pork & Egg Rolls Vermicelli Bún - Thịt Nướng Chả Giò. And iced Vietnamese coffee The only thing is they only add cilantro to the Cha Gio on request. I need my fix of cilantro (I relealize some people's DNA make cilantro taste like soap). The lady at the counter was a rockstar running the show. She was playing hostess, cashier, waitress for everyone that came in the restaurant. Upon entering you can sit down to eat inside or get your food to go. I decided to sit down. The lady brought over water before even asking. They also have a great menu with pictures to help you decide what you want. I tried one of the noodle bowls. It wasn't really what I expected. The noodles were good but I thought it would have more flavor since the chicken was bland. I tried the chicken broth so it might be better to try the beef. They do have other items. Hands down the best pho I've had in Cleveland! The summer rolls were not only beautiful to look at, but extremely refreshing and tasty. And the peanut sauce they came with was just as good! I got the P7 bowl with the rare beef, brisket, and meatballs. The broth was so rich, I didn't even need to add hoisin sauce or sriracha. And they give a decent amount of meat. The topping bar was also unlimited which was really nice. The thai tea boba wasn't the best boba I've ever had, but they get a pass because they're a pho restaurant not a boba shop. And not to mention, the service was extremely friendly and quick! I've seen some reviews complaining about the price but I am shocked! I feel like most other places charge $15 or higher for a bowl and you don't even get full. Here, I was stuffed for $12! I like the location. Away enough from the heavy traffic of 82-Pearl that it is easy to turn into the plaza. Interior is modern and casual. Food is very respectable. Had the grilled pork bahn mi, the spring rolls with peanut sauce, the large rare brisket pho. The bahn mi had great bread, delicious BBQ pork but I wish the pickled veggies was a little more substantial--very finely julliened and not enough that it had no real crunch or sweet pickled flavor. More cilantro needed too. The pho (large) was a nice, generous bowl. The broth was a little bland to me however, and I wish there was more fresh basil and bean sprouts, especially for the size. But the rolls are fairly petite and cost $7...which is likely the most expensive summer rolls from any vietnamese place in Cleveland. Very good, though I'm not a big fan of rice noodles. Ordered #5, shrimp pho. Came with 6 shrimp and 2 bonus chunks of crab meat, along with a side of basil, jalapeño, lime, and bean sprouts (no thank-you). Served with 2 sauces, one being an unusually brown Sriracha (very spicy). The other was like a teriyaki. The broth was excellent, though I think the damn noodles absorbed a lot of it, as there were a ton of noodles in the bowl. They also use this opportunity to remind me I don't know crap about how to use chop sticks. Ended up downing a fraction of the noodles, and each time I did, my glasses steamed up. For next time I asked if they had a name for the dish without noodles. Interesting, they call it soup! Want to try again, but will request 1/2 the noodles. read more

This place is worth a visit! The storefront is nice and clean, lots of light from the windows, and plenty of seating- but accessible for carry-out too. The pho was so delicious, I ordered the traditional with raw beef. The meat gets cooked in the boiling hot broth, and it cooked through by the time it reaches your table. The broth was so good, very warm and nicely flavored. Perfect for the winter weather. They serve the pho with a side of some bean sprouts and other toppings and you can ask for hoisin sauce and sriracha to have on the side. The pho is served with delicious noodles, and I love the green onion on top. If you are eating in, the servers come to your table to take your order- like tradition dine-in. But, we had to go up to the front register to pay once we were done and got take-home containers. The large portion of the soup is what is pictured and it is more than enough for a hearty meal. I would definitely recommend as a lunch stop, and I plan to try their take out service and eat here again! read more

Pho and Beyond lives up to its name. It's truly unlike any other Phó place around and that's because one 1 particular menu item....it's rare sliced beef soup. I've been to many other Pho places, especially Houston and Austin Texas and none do this dish as well as Pho and Beyond. My aunt and I have been dying to try this place since it opened. We went for an early dinner and the inside has a ton of seating! you order at the register and sit at a table and they bring it out legit in MINUTES all of the food was so delicious and fresh! This was our go to place for a while before the new ownership. The past 2 times we've been, the food quality and service has gone down a lot. The pho has had very little meat, just about 2 or 3 small pieces each and the tea and coffees have been mostly ice and milk. The same server helped us both times and she was careless and rude. First time she put steaming hot soup right on the edge in front of my baby's high chair when there was a table full of space. The second time she rolled her eyes and walked off when my husband asked for a second to look at the menu because she tried to take our order right when we sat down. I'm hoping that it's just taking them some extra time to work out the kinks because it was one of the better pho places on the west side. I finally had a chance to visit Pho & Beyond this past weekend. When I first heard it was opening I thought it was going to be more of a Panda Express-type experience, but as I read some reviews it started to sound more and more like a legitimate Pho restaurant; a welcome addition to Strongsville! It was a late Sunday morning, and my girlfriend and I had decided the day before that this was going to be the day that we finally try Pho & Beyond. I am a bit of a pho-snob, having traveled much of Southeast Asia and other parts of the Far East in my Navy days, so I still had my doubts, but we were both still really looking forward to trying it out. We were met at the door immediately by perhaps one of the most friendly waitresses that I have come across in a long time. There was a small party taking place on one side of the dining area, so she suggested that we take a table on the other side of the restaurant, or even outside on their small patio so that we could enjoy our meals in a little more peaceful surrounding. We found a table, took our seats, and our waitress (I should've gotten her name, she really was terrific) asked us if we had ever been to Pho & Beyond before. She was very excited to learn that we were first-timers. We chatted a little bit about the history of the building, and the history of the family who owns Pho & Beyond, then she took our drink orders and left us to decide what we would have for lunch. We ended up ordering a single order of Summer Rolls (consisting of 2 rolls total) with both peanut and fish sauce on the side for dipping, and both of us ordered a Pho (No. 4 for her and No. 7 for me). The rolls were delicious. I'd rank them up there with the big-hitters around Cleveland. The Pho was also really good. It may have been a little short on depth of flavor from kitchen to table, but you are given Thai basil, bean sprouts, jalapeño slices, and a lime wedge, along with hoisin and sriracha sauces to help you dial in you own flavors. After a few tasting spoonfuls I was able to get it right where I like it. I had also read a few reviews that talked about the noodles being clumped up in the middle of their bowls. I had the same issue. I just used my chopsticks to stir the noodles into the hot broth and they separated no-problem. If you look at their menu online you will only find an assortment of Pho (beef, chicken and shrimp options), the spring and summer rolls, and the bánh mi sandwich, but their dine-in menu offers a pork vermicelli as well. I am going back there tonight for dinner and will probably get that. I'll let you know what I think. The only thing that kept this a 4-star review was the space itself. The kitchen is widely visible from the dining room, and the space lacks some "tidiness." Maybe it was just the timing, but it looked like a storeroom at the back of the house. A storeroom with no doors and visible to the entire restaurant. It was not dirty by any means, but enough to knock off a star for me.
