I already have my favorite pho place, so I'm a little biased when it comes to trying new ones. However, this one is definitely going in my top three! I got the pork and shrimp spring rolls, which I immediately scarfed down... I had never had them with pork in it before, but the pork gave it a nice little savory salty that I felt like spring rolls have been missing. I also liked that the veggies in it were more shredded than whole. Big clumps. Gave it a nice texture I should have gotten an order to go. My main dish was a regular size shrimp pho... i'm very picky when it comes to broth, but this one was pretty good. I like the sprinkle of pepper that they add however, I usually like my veggies like my green onions more on the chunky side. It was cool to have some of it shredded. Place went under new management but the flavors still live! We ordered pho #17 and a broken rice with pork #24. They don't put a lot of meat in the pho, but they do put plenty of noodles and broth to keep your belly satisfied. The pho is always outstanding! So outstanding that my husband and I, with the help of our toddler, finished 2 large bowls! The pork was so tender and bursting with flavors as well. My toddler is such a picky eater that I was surprised he was eating it. Overall the flavors of the pho is always consistent no matter what day we decide to come here. Tried a new place other than going to my old faithful Superior Pho. I ordered a seafood Pho Bowl no Fish Balls that came with a number of different seafoods but we had one shrimp in the bowl. Which the Fish Balls we're still in the bowl. We also order a shrimp summer roll wasn't properly made from my experiences at other places. We then ordered shrimp fried rice which didn't have any taste to it and we had to add a number of sauces. I can say the environment is very calming and the air is of great quality. This is one of the best places to eat in or around Cleveland, full stop. The food is consistently incredible, authentic, and artfully presented. Flavors are incredible, and all the herbs and vegetables are super fresh. But to be honest, the food isn't even the best part. The service at tay do is absolutely unmatched. Every time I am here I am treated like family, with care and above and beyond hospitality. My most recent visit, I was sent home with extra broth to make sure I could have a good meal at home. What a gem. Simple Vietnamese fare - with a focus on fresh lemongrass and ginger flavors. The menu also carries some basic Chinese dishes. I ordered the vegetable fried rolls and could taste the fresh veg/herbs in them. Two to an order, and they were so good I ordered another round during the meal. Excellent summer rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce. Our table had an excellent chicken pho; shrimp with scallions, ginger and steamed broccoli; and the vermicelli bun with chicken ginger and fried onions. I am looking forward to returning as you can order their vermicelli bun one of three ways: ginger/fried onions; lemongrass; or curry. As good as the food was - service is the standout. Had the hankering for Vietnamese cuisine. Tay-Do in Parma is fuckin DOPE!!! The broth is very flavorful and all of the ingredients like Thai basil, bean sprouts, etc were perfectly fresh and plentiful! We also got potstickers, the dumpling itself is thiccc and chewy, and is served with flavorful dipping sauce! And the shrimp and cabbage salad is deliciously marinated and satisfying! Love this hole-in-the-wall gem of a restaurant! It's legit and offers a huge menu sure to satisfy people with different tastes! The lemongrass vermicelli (84) is fresh and satisfyingly flavorful without being too heavy. I was hesitant to order the tamarind broth dish (description says sweet tangy and I don't like sweet) but was sure glad I did! Our server suggested the small portion if it not doing family style. I listened, though was afraid it wouldn't be enough for my large appetite. Sure enough, it was, but it was so good I wouldn't have minded more! Their phò was an amazing mesh of flavors. I had to go home and sleep afterwards, that's how good it was. The lady there attended people with great care and even taught you how certain garnishes are meant to be used for the uninitiated "me". Their options are great and the amount of food you get for the price is amazing. $17.99 for an XL bowl of phò, anyone would say is a little steep except the portion is enough for two people. A wonderful mom and pop shop! The owner was amazing and helped me make the best selection possible and give me pro tips (like adding the rice to my soup as I eat it!) The food was AMAZING! Especially the Thai tamarind soup with tofu. For one person, it's enough as it's own meal + home for leftovers but I wanted to try it nonetheless and have no regrets. Packed with flavor. I also got the Tom Rim which was also good and paired nicely with the soup. It was different for me because it's a dry rub seasoning. I went here a few weeks ago and i cant stop thinking about the amazing food!! I had pho #29 (photo) and it was so delicious especially with the sauce they give you. it also comes with bean sprouts and some leaves that tasted kind of like anise which i love so i definitely enjoyed that. The only thing is if you come here, don't expect americanized anything. It's very much authentic and the woman that served us didn't speak much english (which i dont mind, she was very lovely and did what she could to make our meal perfect). One of my favorite new spots. Stopped in on a whim, and certainly glad I did. I love trying new and interesting things on menus, and immediately gravitated towards the Tamarind tofu soup. The server (I think maybe the owner?) told me it was a large bowl and suggested I don't order anything else until I see how big it was haha. I'm glad I heeded her advice, because the bowl was huge! When I picture a dive this is the place that always seems to come to mind. In a strip mall off Snow Road in Parma near Cleveland. There is an older couple running the place. I'm guessing a husband and wife who appear to be in their 60's (or older). He cooks in the kitchen and she waits on tables. I've been here for lunch and dinner and there's never any more than a few tables here at a time so it works. As other reviews have noted there is a language barrier. As a result the woman is short and to the point. I point at the menu items I want and say the numbers a couple times. I haven't had any problems that way. The decor is old and worn. My daughter pointed out she was sitting on duck tape. The carpet looks like it's been here for over 20 years or more. Once you get passed the decor and language barriers the food really shines. When you order it's important to note that food comes out of the kitchen as it's ready. So when we order spring rolls, dumplings and pho. The order they came out was spring rolls, pho, then dumplings. Spring rolls were served piping hot with what tastes like a homemade filling. Perfectly seasoned with a very tasty sauce on the side (more on that in a moment). Pho is some of the most richly flavored broth pho's I've had anywhere. Rich deep cinnamon, hint of clove, star anise, pepper. Once you get to the bottom of the bowl there are large peppercorns waiting for you. The dumplings are homemade. You can even see that in the pictures. They are some of the best I've had anywhere. Tender dough, perfectly seasoned meat interior. The soy sauce mixture has alcohol in it. I can taste it. But it's delicious. I ordered and took pictures of the same items on 2 separate visits. Reason I knocked them a star is because of the consistency. Spring Rolls in my first visit came with a home made duck sauce. The second visit came with duck sauce packets. I ordered beef pho. First visit the accompaniments came with cilantro. Second visit it came with basil. I told them the second time not to bring sprouts as I don't use them. Not a huge deal. Maybe they serve what they can get fresh? But the sauce irked me so they lose a star. I don't take away for being a dive hardly ever. I always rate the food. Still, the food is excellent. I highly recommend a try. read more

I got pho and shrimp spring rolls. The seafood pho was not super aromatic but decent, better than Superior pho. The quality of the meat was very low grade. I thought the price was very expensive considering how small the serving was. They do take credit card. For someone who could not go to other pho places in the asian town, this is not bad. read more

This is an awesome mom and pop Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant. You have the family parents cooking in the kitchen and even the grandma helping out. The Vietnamese food is very traditional and great tasting. Had the Pho and spring rolls and they were great tasting. Broth was flavorful and all the right ingredients.
