One of my favorite Thai places in Cle!! Our waitress was the sweetest woman I have ever met - explained the menu to us, gave us her and the local favorites, AND talked to us about Thailand! She shared some of her stories and we just loved our time here! We started off with the crispy pork egg rolls! They were in fact perfectly crispy and delicious! The dipping sauce completed it!!! For dinner we enjoyed the hot & spicy basil stir fry AND the seafood choo chee curry! It was actually a good amount of food to share and even have some left overs! It was hard to pick favorite because they were both DELICIOUS!!!!! The choo chee curry is made with coconut milk and all the flavors blended SO WELL!!!!! On the other hand the spicy basil stir fry tasted so fresh and good as well!! I would definitely recommend trying this place for great Thai food - they actually also offer Vietnamese food too!!! I was in town for a bowling tournament in Brookpark and just checked into my hotel after a 4 hour flight, so I decided to utilize Uber Eats. I wanted to keep it light, so I order 2 appetizers, Satay Chicken and Fresh Shrimp spring rolls. The order was ready & delivered way ahead of the scheduled time and the driver (Dwayne) was friendly & professional. Anyway, the food was wrapped & boxed well. The satay chicken was cooked and seasoned properly and the sauces were the typical pickled veggies and slightly sweet and the peanut sauce tasted good. I have always enjoyed the food at Thai Spice. However, my favorite dish, Masaman curry with chicken, is no longer made with sweet potatoes. Instead they've substituted white potatoes. My wife and I shared the Green Papaya salad. Excellent to share, fresh on the palate and flavorful. I saw the picture menu asked my server what it was, she said it was the Thai Style Ka Pow. So I had to go with it. She asked how spicy I wanted it. Medium was my choice because I enjoy spice, especially Thai. The dish came not resembling the picture as it had ground chicken. Think of taco type sized ground meat. The picture distinctly had chunks and Thai red peppers. While this dish had taste, the spice was almost insignificant, the meat had a mealy consistency rather than a chewy consistency. My wife had the Thai String Bean with chicken. Very flavorful but again no spice. Portions were good as we had about half of each dish to carry out. I'd likely return but would order something different. Very clean environment, tables spaced out very well. Service was spot on. read more

I love Thai Spice. I used to live in Chicago and have been eating Thai for 35 years. Lately I have been so disappointed in Thai restaurants in Cleveland. Especially after COVID, restaurants have been so stingy with the bean sprouts and thai basil. Thai spice is generous with these ingredients. You can hardly ever find fresh summer rolls and Thai spice carries both shrimp and chicken. Chicken Satay is tasty and a generous portion. I loved their pad Thai and their stir fried broccoli dish. The food is delicious, but when I first started going to Thai spice years ago when it opened the pad, Thai was 899 for a dinner serving. It is now 1595 for a dinner serving same size exactly the same peanuts crushed over the top of the noodles with chicken scallion taste delicious. The only thing that I'm complaining about is this is basically Chinese spaghetti so this is a very inexpensive dish to be charging $15.95 either make a consideration of giving a larger portion or lower your prices. Looking for something quick to have for dinner, I placed an order for an appetizer (spring rolls). The cost as listed on the menu was $4.95 (approx,) Upon pick-up, I presented a credit card to pay for my order but was directed to a sign on the counter that stated that orders less than $6.00 would incur an additional fee (undisclosed amount) if paying with a credit card or debit card. Rarely, if ever, do I carry cash and I was not happy about this "surprise". In the end, I was charged an additional 50 cents as a concession. While this is a small amount, it is the principle of the practice that is objectionable. Was pleasantly surprised by how good Thai Spice in Westlake, Ohio was. I had only ever gotten take out before. Their #tomkha Soup was amazing. I asked for very spicy. Check out the peppers. We had Vegetable Curry which my wife felt was on par with Siam Cafe. That's a tall order. We also had the chicken satay with peanut sauce and cucumber salad. On point. The photos below are a display of consistency. I have never been unhappy after ordering from Thai spice. I used to be OBSESSED with the fried rice with chicken and strawberry bubble tea. Now, I get the red curry with chicken and bubble tea if I'm in the mood. I love the red curry so much, it's so creamy and flavorful without being too spicy. Not much heat spice at all but great spice as in flavor. I have had every appetizer and I like them all. Chicken dumplings, coconut shrimp, shrimp in a blanket, spring rolls, summer rolls, and chicken satay. Can't go wrong with any of them but pictured below is the chicken satay and coconut shrimp. BTW the two photos are two different nights , I just have my go-to spot on the couch. Ok now I refuse to give 4 stars for this, but as far as takeout goes and pick-up..... they use a texting service if you call, most of the times its fine, sometimes its not fine. If they say 45 minutes and you get there at 45 minutes, you must get a text within a 5-minute grace period, if you don't, CALL THEM. It is most likely ready, but this place is so good they get swamped with pickup orders (especially because they do uber eats). I understand but make sure you on top of the time. It gets super busy so if you call at 6, expect to wait at least 45 minutes to an hour, AT LEAST. Don't worry, it's worth the wait. Great prices, Great portions, GREAT food!! read more

Tried Thai Spice for the first time and I was so happy with my order :) I'm very used to my best friend's Thai cooking, so I was hesitant to try. But this restaurant really delivered! The green curry had a bit of spice but not too much. The menu calls it hot but it really isn't that spicy. You can probably request it hotter, but since I did carry out I didn't know where to specify that. If you want something hotter keep that in mind. The dumplings were a delicious appetizer. They were pan-fried, so the outside was a little crispier. They had a great texture and came with the perfect amount of sauce. Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared! Since I ordered using a delivery app, this part might be very varied. It took probably an hour and a half to arrive, which was about 30 mins more than the original projected time. It was totally fine for me on a weeknight, but ordering pick-up may be the move for hungrier folks. read more

After Minh Anh closed my boyfriend and I were searching for our next favorite restaurant for Vietnamese food. Our Vietnamese friend recommended Thai Spice for both their pho and general Vietnamese food. Who knew that a Thai place could make such tasty pho!
