My husband's coworkers told us this was the best Pho place around in our area so we decided to go check it out. The inside is beautiful and definitely not what you expect by looking at the outside. We got seated right away and our order was taken but it took over 30 minutes for us to get our food and it was not very busy inside. We asked about our dinner and they said they had a lot of to go/pick up orders they wanted to get out first. When we got our dinner, portions were decent and neither of us could finish our bowls. It tasted great but wasn't any different from other Pho places we have gone to. I was in the area, and decided to stop by because it seemed like such a cute pho place from the outside! I think it was literally the cleanest and most aesthetic pho place I've ever walked into. I got the combo pho, and it was super good! You can tell they dont just pack a bunch of msg in their broth, and their portion sizes are huge!! Being Vietnamese, I was excited to try this place. Inside is very aesthetically pleasing and clean! I ordered the combo pho and fresh spring rolls. The spring rolls had red bell pepper and carrots and cabbage which isn't usually in one, so the taste was a bit offf putting and "Americanized". And it's only one roll cut in half for $4. A bit pricey. The pho itself was better than most chain pho joints however, the broth was a bit on the sweeter side for me. It also came with way too many noodles that by the time the bowl came to me, it had absorbed a lot of the broth. Overall this place is decent and has super friendly service. This place has some really good food and fresh ingredients.. some of the best pho I have had and definitely the best in the Puyallup area. My go to is the spicy pho (4 star) and it never disappoints. Staff is also very friendly. I've also had the pork banh mi, fresh rolls, and fried rolls. Everything I have had has been great and always fresh. Their portions are also really nice as well. This is one of the only spots I actually feel like I'm getting a large pho when I order that instead of a medium. Going to try to expand to other items on the menu but that spicy pho is just so good! read more

Excellent pho, perfectly neat and clean restaurant, and wonderful wait staff added up to making an ordinary week day lunch extra special. The minute the soup hit my lips I knew this had lovingly been stewing for a LONG time before it got ladled into this stainless steel bowl and set before me. Really wanted some banh mi so i decided to check this place out. The aesthetic is so cute and the place is really clean. They have pretty plants everywhere. Service and food was not up to par though. Came to the front counter, asked for to go and was hit back with do you know what you want...without any menu within view. Ordered a grilled pork banh mi and a Vietnamese coffee but never saw a menu. The banh mi was no more than 8inches long, bread tasted ok(not the softest) and my banh mi came with so much sauce it started dripping out the sandwich within the first couple bites. I didn't order egg with my sandwich but it was over priced for what I got. I wouldn't recommend the banh mi for this place, but the pho has gotten really good reviews. I don't think I'll come back though even if it is to try the pho. read more

Tried Pho & Mi for the first time this week. My family was so disappointed. Our usual Bahn Mi spot in Federal Way is under new ownership so we decided not to drive all the way out there and eat local. We ordered chicken bahn Mi and fresh rolls. The best part of a bahn mi is always the bread, you have to have good bread. The bread was so dry it crumbled when it was picked up, the sandwich hardly had any chicken at all and the chicken that was on it was dry and tasted old. The spring roll wasn't wrapped tight and fell apart the minute you took a bit. The only positive part of the meal was the peanut sauce that came with the spring roll had good flavor. Delicious, great service and great value. I had the combination meat bahn mi. The meat was moist and flavorful, bread tender inside with crispy crust and perfect amount of little pickled veggies. Text book. If I recall it was $10. My son had gyoza and spring rolls, both delicious. Our total lunch was just over $20 and was well worth it. My husband ordered the pho and the broth was delicious. The vermicelli bowl (salad) was good too but the pork was a little fattier than I'd like. The fried roll that came with it was well cooked and delicious. They weren't too busy for a Saturday evening but lots of take out orders being fulfilled while we were there. They forgot my husband's fresh roll and brought it later. Peanut sauce was a little runnier than we like and the ham wasn't our favorite. It's a nice location- well lit and nicely decorated. I really like the food! Fried rice is great and the chicken off the wok is good. Quality of chicken can sometimes be spotty as some bites can be meh, but the flavor is there. My husband and I visit Pho & Mi regularly. We tend to be creatures of habit. I'm a vegan and almost always order a tofu spring roll and the veggie pho with veggie broth. My husband is not vegan but tends to eat more on the pescatarian side and he typically gets a tofu Bahn Mi or a shrimp stir fry. They have recently changed ownership and the interior upgrades are very nice. The presentation of the food is nicer now as well. This used to be our favorite pho place. Now we will never be back. The wok has been "down" the last couple of times we have been here and tonight. We are sadly just done with this place. All new staff seemed nice enough. We sat down, already knew what we wanted, told the lady who seated us that, and then were ignored. Phone orders were taken, we told the other member we were ready, and then two tables came in after us. The wait person came to our table and asked if we saw the menu, and we were like yeah we are ready and she left and took the other two tables' orders that came in behind us. So we go to order and we ask for the wok sear and she goes oh sorry, the wok is down until 5. We were disappointed and she went oh, what time is it? And we go it is 4 15pm. She snaps her fingers and goes oh almost there. The action and tone were done in a very patronizing way. We said no thanks and left. What we were confused about was that another table ordered a dish that I assume is cooked in a wok. Maybe they just microwave it. I don't know, but it was a lame experience all around. This isn't the first time the wok has been "down" either. I don't know what happened to this place. What a shame. read more
