I ordered the 5 spice ground pork banh mi sandwich with overpriced pickles. The sandwich was surprisingly dull. It was just ground meat that tasted like Christmas and bland raw vegetables. No sauce or anything to give it more flavor. I tried making my own sauce with what was available and I made it worse. Yeah that's on me. The one employee working lunch hour was really nice to me and explained things when I had questions.

Atmosphere here is awesome! I've been here several times before but just giving a review I had the happy hour sangria while I waited for my to go order! Five spice pork. Banh Mi for the hubby and drunken noodles for me!! I love to sit at the bar. Everyone here is SO friendly and fun!!! My food came so fast I didn't have time to finish my drink !! That was great and I can't wait to get home and EAT!!

My first Duck Pho in the area! The rainy weather always makes me crave pho so we dropped by Bon Banh Mi to get some lunch. It wasn't too busy when we got there so we were seated instantly. There's bar seats as well as tables. The whole experience was pleasant, and our favorite was the sweet and spicy chips! It was enough to share for 2-3 people. The pho was delicious, as well as the tofu. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxed restaurant in Mt. Pleasant.

This was a cool experience. Once you walk inside, the ambience is simple, yet modern and trendy. I ordered a Vietnamese ham sandwich, it was a twist on traditional yet tasty. The bread was warmed up perfectly. The service was exceptional! He was very kind and check often on his customers!

Still one of my favorite local places in Charleston! The staff at this location is fantastic and the food is always exactly what I'm looking for, I go back and forth between the banh mi and the bowls each time, you really can't go wrong here! And the voodoo chips are amazing too!

This place is great! You order at the counter and they bring it to you. There was a super friendly guy who took our order and was attentive throughout the meal, especially for counter service. Checked in about the food, refilled waters, etc. The food was great, really nicely flavored and well priced. It's not a big place, but had plenty of seating. There are tons of options to customize your order. They also have some nice sauces like hoisin and sriracha to use once your order arrives. We will definitely be back!

This is one of my favorite places to eat and is in my weekly rotation. Their bowls are so delicious, my favorite is the red curry beef. So flavorful! I always get the side of pickles as well and they're so tasty

Love this place. The flavors go so we'll together. The sticky wings, drunken noodles and red curry beef bath mi are my favorites. All the ingredients are always so fresh! Worth the 40 min drive for sure. Prices are reasonable. The servers are always so willing to help if your stuck between one thing or another.

A new location for a well-established Vietnamese place. The industrial, open aesthetic remains from the other locations. This one is farther from the city, but closer to some of the wild areas one might find oneself returning from looking for a meal. My biggest disappointment was that the menu didn't have anything new, but the existing menu is pretty good. What they call drunken noodles is a unique dish delivered with cooked noodles and a deconstructed salad type of presentation. It is spicy and delicious, and the curry tofu you can get with any of their dishes adds plenty. Regardless of the location, I find this the best midscale Asian cuisine in the Charleston area.

Wanted to try something new. What a great surprise. The service was fantastic. Ryan explained the menu well and provided a great suggestion. I opted for the duck bowl. It was delicious and both hot sauces only enhanced the flavors. Definitely worth the price.

OMG! How did I just discover this place?…read more We stopped by Mozzo Deli in Mount Pleasant for lunch on a Friday, expecting it to be busy, and it definitely was. It's located in a shopping center at the end of a strip of restaurants, so it looks pretty unassuming from the outside. There were about four people ahead of us in line, and it took around 10 minutes to place our order. After paying at the cashier, we found a table, and our food arrived about 10 minutes later, which felt reasonable for the lunch rush. The employee who brought our food confirmed our order and later checked back to see how everything was. The food was the highlight of the visit. The coleslaw was delicious, the tortellini salad was good, and my husband really enjoyed his Cuban sandwich. My burger (the rock), though, was one of the best I've ever had. It was incredibly juicy and flavorful, especially considering it was cooked on a griddle instead of a grill. Meals come with the main item, and you can order sides separately if you want them. The menu is extensive, with burgers, sandwiches, salads, build-your-own options, and even breakfast items. The only downside is that if you come during the lunch rush, you may have to wait for a table. Even so, the food made it well worth the visit, and I'd definitely go back for that burger.

Ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on croissant. It was delicious. Eggs were just right, as was bacon, and the cheese was perfectly melted. The croissant was flaky and buttery. Was the person who made our cheesesteak unhappy... or have they simply never encountered a good…read moresandwich before? Because this thing looked like it was assembled out of spite. The roll was dry, crumbly, and stale-- like it had already given up on life. The meat was gray, mushy, and clumped together in sad, gluey piles that screamed "leftover mystery beef." The cheese? A chaotic situation. Half melted, half missing, fully pointless. The extra onions were sparse at best. There was no seasoning, no structure, no attempt at balance. One third of each half had zero meat- in fact check out the picture to see they didn't even slice the bread!!! When you pull the sandwich apart, it doesn't stretch or satisfy -- it collapses into bread shards and beef paste. Truly impressive in the worst way. A cheesesteak should be hot, indulgent, and comforting. This felt rushed, careless, and borderline passive-aggressive. I've had frozen sandwiches that showed more pride in their work. As someone from suburban Philly, if this is how you treat a cheesesteak----Hard pass. Save your money, your appetite, and your expectations.

So we went with the classic understudy, roast beef. The mozz was SO fresh and perfectly sliced. The rolls must be made on-site. Seeds, texture, chewiness, just perfect. Best roll we've had in a long time. Our main feedback would be to (please) increase their *hot sandwich offerings. Unsure why we were told a hot roast beef was impossible (first time this has ever happened) when the stations are already set up to crank out cheesesteaks; we watched 5 cheesesteaks being made while we ate in the dining room. With these quality ingredients, a hot roast beef would have put Primo over the top.

Ordered an iced vanilla latte, it was pretty tasty. Loaded avocado bowl was decent. Avocado was fresh and ripe. Egg made the way I ordered. The menu says it comes with kale, I received lightly sautéed spinach. Potatoes were seasoned and a bit undercooked, but I enjoyed them. I added prosciutto (+$4!!) and it was way too salty to finish. They fry it a little which explains the saltiness. I expected the charcuterie board type. Sourdough crostini was way too toasted, I was only able to buy into the middle part. ~$30 on a meal that was just really not worth it.

Despite the big crowd, they were able to get our Coffee and Food out quickly. As we waited, we enjoyed the soft sound of music that was dialed to the perfect volume level creating a relaxing environment to get work done and enjoy our breakfast. My Latte came out first, unlike many coffee shops, the balance between milk and espresso was flawless. To preface this reaction, I do enjoy tasting the robust flavors of the beans in a latte, and they nailed it at Owlbear. The Frothy Effervescent milk foam was immaculate; the baristas here are consumate professionals.... Now, on to the breakfast burrito. I asked the sales associate for her recommendation between the lox bagel and the breakfast burrito; she stated that the Burrito was a very popular item, so I gave that a go. I was blown away. What stood out to me was the slight hint of lime in the āhuacamōlli (hear me out) made this burrito unique and special. The spice level was not overbearing and the potatoes were perfectly cooked. To wrap things up, I highly recommend Owlbear cafe, and will be visiting again when I voyage to Charleston later this summer; one thing to keep in mind with Owlbear are the portion sizes, I wouldn't call myself a "big eater"; However I was left wanting more food as the portions are very small, almost warranting a removal of star #5
