This is a great place if you're looking for a quick bite. I love the pho & roll special, 10.99 for a small pho and 4 piece roll. However, The wall between the booth and what I believe was refreshment area needs a deep cleaning. There was food splatter, dirt and who knows what else covering the wall. The waiter we had was very pushy and a bit rude. Which is not surprising considering all the other reviews on here commenting on Customer service. We'll be back, I just hope they clean the place up and talk to staff about being more warm and welcoming. read more

I have been coming here for years and have never left a review so thought it was about time I did. The pho is amazing, always tasty, I always order the house combo. Broth is delicious and the meat is amazing. Love the fact they serve sushi and they excel in that area as well. They have a lot of different options and all very good dishes. Their service was really good tonight, usually it does lack sometimes but this was my best experience with their service ever. I ordered the spicy tuna hand roll and spring roll at this spot. The spring roll had old brownish iceberg lettuce and pineapple that was semi soggy. They have a really good lunch special! It's the only thing I go there for. The food is fresh and is made in no time at all. For less than $10 I can have a fill lunch that wont leave you hungry. My family and I used to love this place. We eat here twice week because the soup is very good and it is close to us. Today's experience was very disappointing. My kids and I walked in and the waitress was kind. She asked us to sit anywhere we wanted. I've had a migraine all day so we started to sit at a corner booth furthest from everyone. The booth had a small table next to it. The kids and i moved it back to its original spot (less than 2 feet away) and Immediately, a waiter moved us away and waved us towards the center of the restaurant. He said that booth was for 6 people only. I would have no problem if this were the ONLY place they could accommodate 6 people but there were 4 other tables less than 4 feet away that can easily fit more than 6. It was incredibly uncomfortable for the kids and myself since the people at 3 of the tables were staring as we walked away. The rest of the staff is amazing. Our waitress is the best and the bus boys are very attentive and helpful. Sad that one person made it so bad for us. We will be looking for a new comfort spot now. read more

I use to go here all the time and loved their food and there were two waiters that were amazing a Hispanic lady and a college student (female).. but I'm done with the bad service from the two male waiters, they are rude and keep you waiting. I went one time waited 25 mins for him to come over, I started ordering and he came back saying sorry lunch was over 15 mins ago. I them told him ok I've been waiting for over 25 mins, he just said sorry can't give you lunch deal. The last straw was when I went back to give them another chance and again they ignore you till they're ready. I ordered a veggie pho and after eating it I noticed that that had put rotten veggies in there. I called him back and let him know, he said oh sorry.. I told him that it was disgusting they would think that it was ok to put that in there knowing it was rotten and that I could not eat that he then walked away and came back with my receipt.. I noticed they charged me for the pho I returned. When I brought this up he then said he couldn't do anything... Ever since the new owners took over the service has been bad, they need to get rid of those waiters (Asian decent) and hire new ones that are not rude to customers and don't ignore them.. only way for better service is getting rid of those bad apples! read more

I don't know the name of the waiter with the bald head but let me tell you about him! 1. I saw him argue with another party how he didn't hear something they order. Instead of apologizing for the mistake he raises his voice to the party and walks away. (Not my party, not my problem) 2. We ordered 2 pho rare stakes and a baked salmon roll. We got our pho in a timely manner. But our salmon roll never came out until we got our bill. We told him we never got it. He crumbles our bill and raises his voice and points to the sushi bar that it's coming out. We were done eating by then we didn't want the roll for it taking almost an hour for it to come out. We should of got it taken off our bill. Again no apology for the inconvenience. Plus the sushi bar wasn't even packed or busy. The guy next to us got his sushi before we did and he got there ten mins before we left. PLUS this isn't the first time this has happened. The good streak just ended. Found a worm in my food. It ruined my whole lunch to say the least. I returned the uneaten food and heard the entire staff moan and groan in agreement. I left in disgust, trying to hold it all together and not lose my lunch all over the floor. I called later in the day to speak with a manager to share my experience. The waitress did not want to pass me to the manager but said she would give a full refund. She said the whole staff remembered me and I left before she could refund the money....to come in whenever I could so I could get my money refunded. Different story once I went back later in the day. So disappointed. The manager kept arguing with me, determined to not give me the refund. Even after acknowledging that im a regular customer, he insinuated that I may have brought the bug in myself and that he could only refund partially. The more he spoke and the more he argued over what he made out to seem like a $1000 refund, the more disappointed I became. No customer service...at all. I just wanted this to end. I asked to speak with the owner which prompted him to change his tune. He readily took my card and processed the refund. I was here this afternoon and I had the most awkward experience ever. The manager/owner was yelling at a customer for "ordering wrong". They received the incorrect food at their table and instead of letting them keep/trade the food, he went and told them that it was their fault the incorrect food was brought. So my bf and I had dinner here 3 days ago. We came here cause it was convenient. The atmosphere was nice. The staff was friendly. The food... Well, lets just say they should stick to sushi and sushi only. The pho was disgusting. The noodles were under cooked. You can tasted the floury film on the noodle still. It seemed like they threw it in the hot water and let it sit there for 5 minutes and pulled it out to serve. The waitress couldn't understand why it was disgusting even though we told her it was under cooked. She said that it was brought out the second it was done! That wasn't the issue! I had a rare steak pho and some egg rolls for my lunch. It was perfact meal speacially, little cold and cloudy weather like today!! Wow, Food was really good. The noodle soup was hot and not very salty though. Egg rolls were so crispy!! I highly recommand these egg rolls!! The server was so sweet and friendly. I was satisfied with her service today. Sushi is great, pho is aight. Let me start by saying I'm not the biggest fan of pho so my review is probably abit generous. I usually go in for the pho and crunch roll combo, because I'm a cheap ass and the crunch roll is really good. As for the pho, I've tried literally every different types of meats and it honestly just taste the same to me. The best way I could describe it is Meat Flavored water with rice noodles and random cilantro leaves floating around. Idk maybe I'm not doing it right but I just can't get into it. My friend suggested this place when we went out a few days ago as it was new in uptown Whittier. So we go in an are greeted by a very nicely decorated and friendly staff. I'm not a big Sushi fan but the "Tiki Roll" I got was REALLY good the guy who prepares it even gave me some device that made handling the chopsticks easier(I guess he noticed me struggling like a fool lol).
