A couple of Wednesdays ago, after work, I had an early dinner at this Pho Anh Vu on Highway 7 in Vaughan, between Keele and Jane streets. I have passed by this eatery a number of times since it opened. It was time to check it out. This location used to be Veg Italiano. There used to be a pho place a few doors down. It is now a Turkish eatery. This small plaza does have some turnover. However, the Turkish place and this eatery have been here for at least a couple of years. I hope they remain. I got here at around 3:30 pm. I had no problem finding a parking spot. I backed into a vacant one and walked in. I was immediately greeted by a male staffer. I got to sit wherever I wanted. I chose a booth by the window. I got menus to peruse. There were two other tables with customers. It was nice. Hot tea came to me with two cups. The hot tea was exceptionally piping hot. I used both cups to pour tea into them and let them cool. I was ready to order. It took a long time to get a server to come over. The woman at the counter noticed that I was ready and flagged the male server to take my order. I got these items: - Soda lemonade - Grilled chicken on vermicelli with spring rolls My soda lemonade came first. It was fizzy, cold, and refreshing. I loved it so much. I would get it again in a heartbeat. It also helped me down my food as I waited for my hot tea to cool down. When my tea was finally at a temperature that wouldn't scorch my tongue, it was fragrant and yummy. I loved the grilled chicken. It was flavourful and grilled to perfection. The vermicelli was generous and yummy. The spring rolls were stuffed and crispy. This dish came with dipping sauce that I ended up pouring on everything. I feel that I needed more of it. I paid at the counter with a debit card. I tapped and was good. This eatery got busy after 4 pm. My guess is that everyone came to watch the Canada-Switzerland FIFA game. It got tense in the place. Eventually, Canada lost this game. I used the washroom before I left. It was beautiful and clean. It's a decent location that serves good food. The tea was too hot. Service started off slow, but was a lot better once my order was place. I'd love to return to try more items off the menu. (280)

And I can say that I've had great experiences with Vietnamese restaurants already before. But what set this place apart is that the staff/Management/server and I would shout out to Lang because he truly knows the definition of Customer Service. I chose to come here along with my niece and her family that live locally because this place Pho In Love was highly recommended by a staff that claims to be a foodie like me at the Sheraton hotel lounge. And when we looked at the reviews, it had some amazing reviews to back it up. Food was amazing, all the ingredients were fresh, portions are generous, and they were all as expected very flavorful. Ambience is cute and very clean. Parking is an easy access. And above all, you feel so very welcome upon entering this place. I'm so glad we tried it because it definitely met our expectations and beyond. I apologize that I don't have enough photos because we thoroughly enjoyed the food that we forgot to take photos. My niece who lives next town from Richmond Hill said they will be coming back and will bring her family as well and friends. We truly all had a wonderful experience.

The meat-to-noodle ratio was also way off for $21 for a large bowl, it was mostly noodles with barely any meat. Compared to other pho restaurants in the area, this one really falls short in both quality and value. The overall taste honestly reminded me of instant pho you can buy at Costco rather than freshly made restaurant pho. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back, especially with so many better pho options nearby.

We entered this beautiful restaurant and were immediately transported to Vietnamese culture and traditions which we have experienced first-hand in Vietnam on three separate occasions. The seating arrangements permitted different views of this well-appointed restaurant. It was peaceful even though there were many people dining there. It was serene with light music in the background and barely audible. What a pleasure! The Food: We ordered an appetizer plate of popiah. We've enjoyed popiahs in Malaysia, and these were very different. These are a rolled "rice cellophane" wrappers filled with finely chopped lap xiong sausage, vermicelli and fresh herbs served with a side dip (of mostly hoisin). EXQUISITE AND ADDICTIVE. 10/10 We then shared a Bún Chá Hanoi. It has always been one of my favourite Vietnamese dishes and difficult to find in Toronto. This was true to tradition, extremely well-executed and refined in it's preparation and taste. The pork patties did not have a porky taste (bonus points), a perfect char and seasonings. Hubby enjoyed the grilled pork belly. The accompanying "dressing" for the vermicelli and fresh lettuce was refreshing and light. 10/10 My café dā was smooth and strong (as requested). It was served in the traditional Vietnamese style. The Owner brought condensed milk and sugar with it on the side because he thought the coffee would be too strong for me. Of course I didn't need it. I think he was surprised LOL. 10/10. My husband's kumquat drink was delicious and his first time enjoying the taste of kumquat. 10/10. Words cannot describe how much we loved this place. It was empty when we first arrived on a Friday evening, but a few more groups came in afterwards. This restaurant should definitely be getting more attention! The pho broth was one of the best pho broths I've had. If you're in the mood for somethings more tomato-y and sour, the tomato crab soup is also very good. I wish I was able to try their other unique menu items, so I will definitely be returning!

The atmosphere was casual and comfortable, and the service was good throughout our visit. The food was tasty and well executed, with a couple of dishes standing out from the rest. The other favourite was the crispy spring rolls filled with pork and shrimp, which were nicely prepared and disappeared quickly. Overall, a solid Vietnamese spot with good service and some standout appetizers -- a great stop before exploring downtown Toronto. Saluti.

The jade rice has mixed of crispy rice, the crunch is making each bite more delicious. Beef is seasoned well and the pickled cucumber is a good addition to the dish. For the 2nd visit, I mistakenly ordered C10 thinking it was a rice plate. (It was fried rice) Few minutes later I asked if its not too late to change it, and mentioned what I meant to order. They quickly update my order and still got it on time. Service is good, they move like a lightning here. And probably one of the fanciest vietnamese restaurants I've been to.
