But now I have my answer! We ordered online, and it gave us an estimated 20ish minutes to be ready. It was ready in about 15. I got notification that it was ready when we decided to stop by HMart (in the same shopping center) first. When we arrived, they had everything packaged very nicely. The manager (?) Or owner came and checked over to make sure we got everything and thanked us for the business. Super friendly and nice. It left us with a great impression. When we got home, the soups were still pipping hot. Hot enough to cook the rare steak we had. The amount of noodles and meat we received was super impressive. Great portions. I love that they don't skimp for take out orders. We also got 3 orders of spring rolls (my husband can house these, so I always get an extra order to make sure others can have some!). And 2 orders of summer rolls. The spring rolls were still crispy even though we brought it back. My husband loved the dipping sauce (way better than the ones we normally get in Baltimore. It seemed less goopy than what we get at home). Even my mom, who doesn't normally eat fried foods, at a whole one. I loved the summer rolls. They are super fresh, really good ingredients - everything together was the perfect summer roll. The pho was so good. Really great flavor in the soup. Didn't know that this was in the Burke Village Center, but my friend was craving pho and found it on yelp. We came around 5:50pm and they had several parties seated and a couple tables open. Public parking lot for the shopping center available. It seems like they are pretty popular with people trickling in and picking up take out orders. We ordered hot tea, spring rolls, and summer rolls. My friend got 18a Pho Duong Dac Biet and I got the Com Ga Nuong (grilled chicken and rice). The chicken and rice dish was good (and comparable to others I've had) but I was a little disappointed with the spring rolls and the taste. I didn't try the summer rolls but my friend seemed to enjoy it and took the leftover one home. I feel the prices are better or comparable to others in the area and they have more of a selection than the one near my house. They had quite an extensive menu so I thought I'd order something other than Pho for once. I got the Bun Bo Hue and it was really good. I made an order for take out pho here. It was a cute spot that had ample seating, very casual eatery. The food was prepared so quickly! I thoroughly enjoyed the generous serving of noodles, beef (some cooked, some not - but cooked quickly when submerged in the hot broth!) The broth comes in a plastic container, and it is PIPING hot. Today I decided to get takeout Bahn Mi from here since I never knew they offered it. I've got a specific love of Bahn Mi and seriously this was the best I've ever had. The bread was baked to perfection, the lemongrass beef was savory and pulled it's own without being too much. The veggies were fresh and delicious. Seriously, I'm blown away. I ordered through DoorDash and Pho Duong really came through. Their reviews were quite high so I decided to give them a try even though there was an extra fee to deliver (extended range). It was a cold day so the Pho Duong dac biet would do the trick. In the notes I asked for extra jalapenos since I like my soup spicy. They came through above and beyond. Not only was the bag filled with tons of jalapenos, they had a really large portion of garnish for the pho. This is enough for like portions. The order came split with the broth in one container and another with the noodles and rare steak + meatballs. They did a great job packing the soup as it was still hot by the time it arrived at the hotel. There was plenty of noodles, rare steak, tripe, tendon and I was quite satisfied. I would most definitely recommend this place and would make the drive to dine in-person given the opportunity. This is our go-to close to home pho place. It is a little inconsistent though. Sometimes like a recent Sunday the broth was very good and flavorful, but other times it is just ok. We often get a pho and a bun bo hue. Overall the noodles and protein portions are good and generally seem good quality. They have a fairly healthy carryout business.
