Service? Don't plan on good service. One person was the bust boy, the waiter, the front counter attendant and the food runner for 75 person capacity establishment. Not cool. Something would and did absolutely lack. And customer service was that thing. Then to top it off, my order of Crab Rangoon comes up to bring to our table and he took it to someone's table who hadn't even ordered food yet. It was there for a good 2 minutes before the person in the back told him that the order wasn't theirs, but belonged to my table. So he picked it up and brought it to my table!!! The perfect local spot for delicious bahn mi! My partner and I popped in here to grab dinner, but we decided to dine in because the interior is so cute and inviting. We were sat immediately, and the service was perfect. I wanted to try their pad Thai, but sadly they were out of it. The beef bahn mi I ordered instead was incredible. After having to refund it (their former location was leveled by the owner) we happily consumed their delicious pho ga and pho thai, always hot, fresh and served with a pile of fresh bean sprouts, thai basil, lime and jalapeños. I went in for an early dinner around 5:30. I had to seat myself even though there were two people up front talking to someone in the kitchen. It took over 5 minutes for them to come over and greet me and see what I wanted to drink. There was no one else in the restaurant. I ordered spring rolls and beef pho. The guy that was my server just stood at the kitchen window staring into the kitchen and waited for my food. He was coughing the whole time and NOT covering his mouth. I saw my food come up in the window and as he grabbed it with both hands and turned, he coughed again all over the food. YUCK. I was so sad when I found out that the plaza on Harding was being destroyed for condos () because it is home to two of my favorite places, Ninki and Pho Ann. I happened to be in Bellevue and saw that they'd moved there. We stopped by when we were in the area and loved what they'd done to their new place. The decor was beautiful and fun. Perfect for great pics. The music sucks though. It sounds like it should be played at a children's birthday party. The food was great as always. I was craving crab Rangoon so I ordered that as an appetizer. It came out pretty quickly and was amazing. Crispy and slightly sweet, creamy and meaty. It paired perfectly with the chili sauce. Will definitely get that again. My daughter got the beef pho. It's a solid pho. Flavorful and comforting. I ordered the oxtail pho. It was really good and the oxtail was really tender. I probably wouldn't order it again though only because it was too fatty and I didn't like having to take the meat off the bone. I also think I'm more of a chicken pho kind of girl. Usually, the food is very good here, but if you order via DoorDash, the descriptions are wrong and the software is not written correctly. Beware! There is milk in the strawberry drink, although it is not listed on the menu, at least not on DoorDash. If you want to get Anne's special rice, you will be forced to add a protein, which then takes away the two main ingredients of Vietnamese sausage and shrimp. You cannot proceed without choosing a protein, other than the one originally listed. DoorDash will not return your money. As I said typically the food is very good, but when calling to explain the problem, they could not understand me not what the problem was. It's such a shame because their pad Thai is good. I won't be ordering from them from for a while because of the dietary issues and the lack of being able to communicate with them properly and their lack of understanding and the wrong description of food. read more

On Yelp, 5 stars is perfect, so to get 5 stars you must give me a perfect experience, which means no complaints. It is also important to go in with the right mindset and expectations on the type of restaurant you're dining. Pho Ann is not an upscale meal, but it is authentic. My wife grew up in Vietnam and she told me it tasted like what she would have where she was from. The menu items were not always just the standard as you'll see from the photos. We had spring rolls and egg rolls and fried shrimp, but the Bun Bo Hue was a special I had not seen anywhere else and it was amazing. Not too spicy even though they warned me about the spice, but enough to make me need to blow my nose, which I like! Couple that with a Vermicelli noodle boat my wife got and you end up with a great meal! This was a referral my wife had from a nail bar, and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, we were surprised about seeing a bow of Pho for $17. What made it worse was we then found out that the portions were smaller. Inflation is now at its lowest rate in 3 years. We were ordering appetizers and the server was sighing and visually making annoyed looks as we changed one item out at the end. Then, as we all ordered entrees, I had repeated an item that someone said, and the server looked at me and with a terse tone said "I heard what he said." The final straw is when our order was placed well before several other larger tables, yet we were the last to have our food made and sent. Besides this, the food was excellent. The vegetable spring rolls were bright and fresh and served with a sweet and thick peanut sauce. The tofu banh mi was excellent, with beautifully seasoned and spiced tofu and veggies on a soft baguette. The various phos were great. Vegetable pho had many veggies and a delicious vegetable broth. Chicken pho was loaded with chunks of white meat chicken. And the pho special was seasoned perfectly (wish there was a little more actual beef in the dish). After their relocation: The broth in the pho is too salty. A good pho broth is not salty. It's supposed to be rich and flavorful from a good beef stock. Their cha gio is not traditional. It's supposed to be served with lettuce wraps, cilantro, and nuoc cham which is a vinegar sauce (not a sweet and sour sauce). I'll give it to them for the meat and noodles. This really was a good restaurant until it got gentrified. Prices increased as well read more

It's a small casual restaurant that's on the more expensive side in terms of pho and bun bo hue. The bowl of pho was $14.50 and the bun bo hue was $16.50. The flavor of the bun bo hue was okay but the noodles were hard and mostly broken up into smaller pieces. This made it harder to eat with chopsticks. The pho tai broth was good and the noodles were a good texture. However, there wasn't any sriracha but instead a brand called cholimex. I understand that there's a shortage so that's likely why but the sauce had a vinegary aftertaste which wasn't pleasant. I probably wouldn't visit again if I was in the area. read more
