    Pho Bo

Pho Bac is a no-frills spot serving some of the best pho in the city. Prices are still fairly reasonable, though I have noticed them slowly creeping up over time, which is understandable these days. One tip is that paying with cash can save you about one to two dollars. Portions are generous and the food is always well balanced and fresh. I usually go for the pho bò with brisket and tendon, which never disappoints. The only downside is the parking situation. The lot is a bit unstructured, so there's a chance your car could get boxed in, and there doesn't seem to be a clear system to manage that.

Pho Bac Súp Shop is a great place for a bowl of pho. Service is fast and efficient, and the restaurant is quite spacious. There are plenty of tables and we were seated as soon as we arrived. The food came out quickly. I had the Beef Pho and it was delicious. Solid choice for pho in Seattle C-ID.

Ordered the pho fries and pho tron with pork belly The fries were not good, dry and didn't have much flavor, I wouldn't recommended ordering. I think some work could be done to make the fries better, as it's a good idea. But the pho tron was good for someone who likes dry noodles. Good flavor and pork belly was flavorful. It wasn't too busy around 6pm on a weekday night, but parking is always a headache since they share a small lot with The Boat.

    Rib pho - yum!

Pho Bac Sup Shop in Seattle's Little Saigon was our first visit and it definitely made an impression. A quick heads-up: parking is limited, and be cautious of the homelessness in the surrounding area. Once inside though, the experience is a total contrast. The space is very hipster-forward, both in décor and concept--you can get your pho fix with a cocktail, and there's even a giant tree in the middle of the dining room. Such a cool, unexpected vibe. We ordered the rib pho, which was a must. The broth, oh my... the broth was hearty, deeply beefy, and so good we drank every last drop. We also tried the pho trộn (dry turmeric noodles) out of curiosity. I worried the turmeric might taste medicinal, but it was the opposite--well balanced, flavorful, and hitting all the flavor buds. Portions are very generous; honestly, one order of either dish could easily be shared. If we had more stomach space, we absolutely would've tried their bún bò Huế--next time for sure. Overall, this is a great spot for pho: good food, friendly service, and dishes come out quickly. You pay your bill at the bar, which makes it easy to be in and out. Cool atmosphere and worth the visit.

I was craving pho with short ribs so I wanted to give this place a try again! Previously, my experience wasn't great, however, I very much enjoyed my dish this time! The short rib was very tender and easy to eat this time and the meat came off the ribs easily! It was delicious and full of flavor. The pho and broth was good as well and of course I had to have it with Chinese donuts which tasted great together. The service was good. The food was made in a timely manner and our requests were made. The ambiance is nice. Decorations are enjoyable and there's plenty of seating.

This is me and my boyfriend's go to spot for pho. Service is fast, it's usually consistent, but the parking situation is a nightmare. We always each get a large pho dac biec because we like taking a little home, even though most people don't like leftover pho. I've gotten the bun bo hue for takeout before, I would skip the bun bo hue and opt for the pho at this place. I also recommend this location over the SLU/downtown one because you can choose between two sizes whereas the SLU location is one size only. There's also a difference in pricing on the menu, cheaper if you pay in cash. We haven't came in here in a few months but this time around, we noticed that something about the broth tasted different, and not in a good way. I thought it was oiler than normal but my boyfriend thought it was something else, though he couldn't pinpoint what exactly tasted different. Hopefully the next time we come back, it'll taste like it did before.

I love the broth here. Some say it's a little salty but I think it's well seasoned. The pho doesn't really need anything else. However, if you like it spicy they have chili oil sauce you can put in which I tried (spoiler it was great). Pho 5/5 I would definitely come here again. I also loved that the broth was HOT when it came out. Too many other pho places are serving their broth lukewarm which is gross. Fries with lemongrass 3/5 I wouldn't get this again. It's just generic fries with a cilantro lime-like aioli Chicken wings 5/5 great sauce, sweet and tangy with the fish sauce Service was good and the restaurant has a cool "streets of Vietnam" vibe.

Pretty mid pho. But I'm from LÁ and we have WAY better pho here. We came here bc this is a local institution! One thing that was EXCELLENT was the drink tho!!!

The portion size of the pho noodle soup was pretty generous, it was only a $1 more for the large size. However, it was lacking flavor. I wish I liked it more because of all the good reviews I saw. The dry pho was more enjoyable than the pho noodle soup. It had more flavor which was surprising because I thought the soup would've been the same for both. The pho fries were interesting, I didn't like it at first but it kept growing on me. It had a weird aftertaste that was off putting at first but then became enjoyable. The onions and fried shallots made the dish for me. Overall, not a bad experience but I had higher expectations. I may have come on an off day. Additionally, everything is much pricier compared to NY.

Our go to pho stop in Sea-Town is Pho Bac Sup Shop! You can't go wrong with any of their pho soups and it's a matter of choice what to include as the umami broth comes out piping hot. One of our faves is the rib pho that comes with multiple beefy ribs and my top choice is the pho tron with pork belly that has the turmeric noodles and a side of broth to dip or simply drench it in the bowl and mix well. Sure wish they'd bring back the smoked brisket beef slices. The service is good and there's ample seating. The ambiance is lively and no need to whisper here. Just writing this makes me want to head back!

This place has one of the best pho i've had in Seattle! It doesn't compare to pho places i've been to in other cities like LA but it's a great for Seattle/Washington. The broth was on the sweeter side but so flavorful! It doesn't taste full of msg like some other places do. They don't give as much meat but otherwise the regular was a nice, filling size. The vietnamese coffee was also amazing, though pretty strong! Parking here is rough. There aren't many spots in the lot, and it's shared with The Boat restaurant across from it. So probably have to find street parking. Interior was really nice and spacious. There's a decent amount of seating as well.

Beef short rib pho - sub par
    Marina P.

I really wanted to like this place, but my visit was a total letdown. I ordered the beef short rib pho, and it was honestly one of the most disappointing bowls of pho I've had. First off, there was barely any broth--and what little there was came out lukewarm at best. The beef short ribs were super chewy and tough to eat. I spent more time trying to wrestle the meat off the bone than actually enjoying my meal. It felt like a workout, not dinner. As for the service, it was just... not there. No one checked in, no water refills, no follow-up. It felt like we were invisible once the food hit the table. Skip this spot, there are too many great pho spots out there to settle for this kind of experience.

Came here on a Thursday afternoon with an empty stomach and no reservation. Portions here are good and will fill you up! To be different than my friend who ordered pho, I ordered the dry pho with pork and a Viet iced coffee. The dry pho is literally all the contents of your typical pho seaprated from the soup itself. So, if you prefer to sip your soup separately from your noodles and meats, dry pho is the way to go. If not, then I suggest getting the typical pho noodles soup. From the taste, I felt that the dry pho soup is a bit saltier and more flavorful compared to my friend's pho.  Although different in experience, I quite enjoyed it but would probably opt for its soupy counterpart.

Writing this sucks and also I feel like I'm giving a completely honest and fair review of last night (Friday, June 19, 2026) from 7 to 8:30pm ish. Two hairs - one in my kaisen champon, one in my partner's niku udon. A dead bug in the niku udon. A staff member walking the floor actively bleeding from his nose with a napkin stuffed into it. Any one of these on its own would have been a rough night. All three in the same meal is something else ‍ The kitchen is small and open so you can see and hear everything, which meant we also got a front row seat to the chef yelling at his staff multiple times throughout the evening. The team was clearly working hard and seemed genuinely understaffed, but the kitchen felt like it was coming apart at the seams. We were in line to order for about five minutes, during that time we heard the employee at the register say to the man in front of us that there is no more summer special cold udon flight. Bummer, but totally understand. The menus are acrylic boards at the ordering counter, there were two for the two specials and they were left up when we went to order. The employee told me that unfortunately they have run out of the other special (not the flight). She turned around to do something else for a bit, came back, so I ordered the flight and she said they don't have that either. LOL okay!! No worries! I asked if any of the udon can be made cold? She asked the head chef. He yells back that he has no time for this. Like a good one minute lecture, yelling at the staff. So sorry I made him yell at this poor girl I ordered kaisen champon and my partner ordered the niku udon. We waited for a good 30 mins for our food. Fine we like each other enough to spend time with each other and can clearly see it is chaos in the kitchen. We get our food. We didn't get utensils with our food, and were told "I'll grab utensils for you, sorry about that" So we just sat there waiting for utensils. Food is good but there are hairs and a bug ‍ During our time waiting the water wasn't ever filled (it's self serve) so after our food came I asked for water three times, kept getting "I'll refill it". The chawanmushi showed up 20+ minutes after our food, basically as we were finishing. And they don't have to-go containers, which fine, but worth knowing. I've given this place real chances. Last night felt like a hygiene issue, an understaffed kitchen, and a service breakdown all stacked on top of each other. Usually we go during lunch so maybe that's my recommendation moving forward - I'm giving this place a rest from the rotation for now.

We walked into a casual, compact space with a mix of counter and table seating that fits the quick ramen shop style. The interior is efficient and well organized, though it can get extremely busy, and the wait times are often one of the biggest parts of the experience, especially during peak hours. Once seated, the space feels functional and comfortable, designed around getting a bowl of ramen in front of you without unnecessary distractions. The ramen is built around rich tonkotsu broth with a lot of customization options. We appreciated the ability to adjust things like noodle firmness, richness, and spice level, which made each bowl feel more personalized. The regular tonkotsu ramen stood out for its deep umami flavor without feeling overly heavy, and the noodles had a great texture that held up well against the broth. The vegan options also stand out, including miso-based bowls with flavorful broths that give non-pork options more depth than many ramen shops offer. The toppings are generous, and the soft-boiled egg was cooked to that perfect jammy consistency. Beyond ramen, the menu has a few sides that complement the meal well, including gyoza that came out crisp and well filled. We also grabbed mochi ice cream for something sweet afterward, a light finish after the rich broth. The seasonal ramen options are worth checking out since they add variety beyond the standard bowls, giving regular visitors a reason to come back and try something new. Service is generally quick and friendly, especially considering how busy the restaurant gets. The ordering system is straightforward, and the staff handles the constant flow of customers efficiently. The team kept the pace moving without making the experience feel rushed, and they were attentive to refilling water and checking in on the table. The biggest downside is the popularity, since the lines can sometimes feel long for a relatively quick meal, but the wait tends to move faster than expected given the efficient turnover. Ramen Danbo is a reliable spot for a satisfying bowl of ramen in Seattle. The customizable bowls, strong broth, and consistent noodle quality make it a place worth visiting, although planning around busy hours can make the experience much better. The balance of customization and quality means you can dial in your bowl exactly how you like it, and the focused approach to the menu keeps the attention where it belongs.

The wontons are very very good, stuffed with flavorful pork and swimming in a sauce that sits in that perfect spot at the intersection of hot and sour. The peanuts and scallions add a delightful crunch. Their beef chow fun satisfies every bit of childhood nostalgia I have for this dish, with lots of wok hei, bouncy noodles, and the most tender of beef. I think my favorite beef chow fun in the city still lives at A+ Hong Kong Kitchen, but this is a close second. The portion here is also huge. I am a human vacuum and I actually brought leftovers home, which is rare for me. The pork with hot sauce noodles is seemingly a fusion of zha jiang mian and dan dan noodles. My friend really enjoyed it and actually finished the whole thing, which is saying something given that she doesn't usually eat that much. There are so many other items on the menu that I'm eager to try, so I will definitely be back.

My wife and son highly recommended this place as a tasty place they found…read more.. After my son's fencing tournament where he stabs his friends... we went on the adventure. The start of the journey began with the requisite parking fiasco and issues that are perpetual in the Seattle ID...but that should never, and I mean never, stop an important mission like finding a truly delicious noodle restaurant. When we went in, it was pretty empty. We were immediately sat, and ordered. The hot jasmine tea quickly followed. Our Calamari came out quick and was delicious to the point I nearly had to fight my son for the last piece. I quickly surrendered as he does stab people...see above...he parried my fork and stabbed the last piece before quickly finishing the move. Our mains came out shortly after we finished the calamari. The 14yo ordered beef brisket noodle soup. He said it was delicious, but too spicy after he added too much chili oil. The wife scoffed at the idea that there's such a thing as too much chili oil and ate some of his soup. This was after she dug into her hot pot. I did get a chance to sample the delicate pork pieces and the flavorful rice. The slightly crispy rice at the bottom of the pot were so delicious. I had the Singapore style fried noodles. Really tasty. The noodles had so many flavors from the vegetables to the meats (shrimp, chicken meat & egg, and pork) and the sauce. I enjoyed the meal, and look forward to discovering more dishes to try on our adventures trying to find parking. JuFeng, thank you for the delicious meal!
