I tried this place for the first time today. BEST SPICY CRAZY NOODLES EVER! I had that, plus Thai iced Thai, delivered. The food showed up fresh and hot. Tender noodles and a really nice variety of veggies. Wonderful varied flavors in every bite. It was properly spicy, hence the Thai iced tea to calm the heat. Food is ok. Service is trash. I ordered food on Grubhub. When I went to pick up, they told me the food was not ready. So I waited there for 20min and I saw a form on a bag that looks like my order. So I asked them about it and it was mine order. It was there all the time but they just kept telling me it was not ready. Either they were on purpose or they were idiots. I got the Dac Biet. It wasn't terrible nor was it extraordinary. I would say mediocre. You can't really mess up pho. I like the serving size because I was able to finish the bowl while still being satisfied and not stuffed. I also got the Thai tea bubble tea which was nice. There's an inverse relationship between temperature and my adoration for Pho. That relationship could also likely hold if "temperature" was replaced by, "outdoor shittiness," "number of times sick road slush splattered on my face by passing cars," and "thickness of white salt stains all over my boots." Thanks in part to those wonderful feats of nature, I've become a bit addicted to Pho Basil. I stick to the Tom Yum soup and Shredded Chicken soup, and Pad Thai. All are awesome. They have good portions, the soup doesn't leave you feeling like that salt on your boots are caked all over your tongue, and it's fresh. Oh, it's also crazy fast -- in a surreal way ... Order your food and set a timer, and you'll likely have your food in about 45 seconds. Good place. Once you step into the door, whether it's busy or quiet, you'll be greeted by the friendly staff. The menu offers a great variety and has something for everyone. I usually get the pho but those that aren't into the soup noodles, they also offer curry, fried rice, fried noodles, etc. Their bubble tea is probably the best in the block but honestly there's not much competition in this area. I really can't say enough about their super friendly staff. For a casual restaurant, they offer some of the most consistent, genuine, kind-hearted, and quick service that I've every experienced. We ordered delivery and it must have been a busy night because they quoted us 1 hour for prep time. It came about half an hour late on top of that. The pho was very good. The broth was flavorful, the sliced beef was delicious and it came with the toppings of fresh bean sprout, wedges of lime and thai basil. They even threw in those wonderful Chinese soup spoons so you can slurp up the broth with noodles. I eat here all the time. Literally. Their pho chay is basically my lifeblood. I mean it's not a 5 star amazing place, because it's just vietnamese/thai. But literally if I could just open a tab and they bill me monthly I'd do it. I'm considering asking if they'd give me a direct line so i could just pick up the phone and get them on the other end. I also like their crispy veggie rolls and bubble tea. But the pho. Yum. Also I'm white, so if this isn't authentic, I really have no idea about that. Randomly passed by, saw Pho in the name and knew I had to try it out. This was really some of the best pho ga I've ever had, very flavorful. Great for take out! We live in Beacon Hill and order from here every few weeks. Drunken noodles, duck soup noodles, and yellow curry are especially delicious. Take out soup noodles from here are great because they put the noodles in a separate container. Me and 4 friends came during lunch on a weekday. You know how you go to a sit-down restaurant during your lunch break and you need them to take the order fast and the food to come out fast, well, that's why you opt for a Pho place. They always take your order as soon as you sit down and the food comes out in .5 seconds. Well...... that didn't happen at this Pho establishment. It took forever to flag someone down to take our order, and it didn't come out quick. When all the food did eventually come out, there was even more disappointment.
