I felt sorry for the young lady the days I was there. She was doing the work of three people. I usually have their chicken pho and my husband has the filet mignon with added shrimp pho. We love it! We've been coming here for a while now and I do have to say that after they changed chef everything got that much more tastier. I recommend Pho Bistro for their pho for sure. read more

I think with the lack of variety of different restaurants in the area, facilities think they can serve you disgusting, tasteless, garbage and you should except it.....hell no. Got the chicken teriyaki bento box and I must say the 3 dumplings, 4 California rolls and pork egg roll were okay(because I was starving) but the chicken was disgusting. It was just diced chicken with sauce on it. It wasn't grilled or had any flavor to it. My child could have done better...honestly. I actually took it back because it tasted so bad but they refused to refund any portion of my money. So I opted for more egg rolls to not waste my second trip there. I have never had Vietnamese food before I visited Pho Bistro. I am so sad I've waited this long! I LOVE the chicken fried rice and the pad Thai. The food was presented hot and was pleasantly spicy. The service was ok. I think the waitress was annoyed because I didn't know what I wanted so she was not super pleasant. But the food made up for it. They also have a full bar. read more

We Get the stare down! No welcome greetings and NO THANK YOU's as if we are inconvenience to them. Don't pack our leftovers if we told you not to, then you do it anyways allowing the soup run down the table as you pack it which we paid for. Messy! Owner(s), hire respectful and pleasant servers! I ordered the vermicelli combo which is my go to meal whenever I don't want to feel super bloated afterwards. Because there's no soup and the noodles, lettuce and other condiments are all cold and light, it's almost like eating a noodle salad with some grilled meat. It definitely wasn't the greatest that I've had, but it wasn't the worst either. I do wish it came with more than one spring roll which wasn't crispy even before I threw on the fish sauce mixture. This is a very average pho place. Not that bad, not that good. Their pho broth taste mediocre with very little meat but lots of noodles, so their portion all together is pretty big. Pros: -the inside is actually very clean and neat than it looks from the outside -very clean bathroom -they give you lots of vegetables for your pho -good spring rolls -big portions with lots of noodles -they sell bubble teas Cons: -mediocre broth -little meat -egg rolls are okay Overall I would only come back here if I'm craving pho and I have no other pho place to go, but there are plenty of other good pho places If you're willing to drive out a little further. read more

Best pho in town! Their beef broth makes me want to sing. We have dined in during covid and felt safe. Booths have high walls in between. We have also gotten pho to go, they pack it perfectly. My hubby got wide noodles with beef. Super! Their veggie egg rolls are crisp and yum. Sundae sushi roll is also FAB! The staff is great. The place is clean. Service is always fast. Haven't tried just a whole lot off the menu. Always felt like the sign of a good restaurant is how many tables they have after 8 pm. Spring rolls with peanut sauce is amazing. VERY IMPORTANT If you are doing takeout for dinner they do not cook the filet (meat) for you. You have to ask them to cook for you. This place has really stopped trying, we waited for someone to take our orders for 30 minutes, we understand they were busy but we only have an hour for lunch. Finally one of the waitresses wizzed by and I was able to get her attention and asked her to take our order. We were not offered drinks, or even an "I'm sorry". After placing our order we asked if she could make them to-go bc we waited so long, she stated "No, we have to go to the counter and replace our orders if we wanted it to-go". I nicely let her know we already waited so long, she walked off. After another 20 minutes of waiting, we were never offered water, or any type of drinks. Finally I was tired of waiting so I went to the counter to check on our order and let another girl know what all happened, she checked on our food and let me know it would be around 5 minutes. Other tables that came after us were getting their orders quickly and were being helped right away. We decided to wait by the To-Go area but were being pushed and shoved by the waitresses, WHO WORKS LIKE THIS?!? Rude, rude, rude, I finally got my food and when I got to my car it was tossed all over the place what I could salvage was ok, but not great. I have never experienced any of the things mentioned in the negative reviews on here. My wife and I have visited Pho Bistro in McKinney for years even at the previous location across 380. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating and we have never been neglected or made to wait on anything. The food is great and we have tried a wide range of dishes from the menu. The pho of course is great. My wife enjoys the vermicelli bowl and the sandwiches. We always order shrimp spring rolls to start the meal. I personally like the spicy pad thai as well. This location has a good comfortable atmosphere and is always clean. We enjoy eating here and are happy customers! read more

So we cheated on our normal Pho place and needless to say, we should of stayed faithful! Original waitress was pushy wanting us to order as soon as we were seated, the place wasn't busy. The Pho broth was not flavorful, egg rolls were burnt or they haven't changed the grease in awhile. Our second server made it up for the first one, she was the positive about our experience. BYOB - just in case you didn't know. We've been coming here for a while now and just found this out on our last visit. Apparently, they also run Shogun restaurant (Japanese) which is an upper scale hibachi grill on the other side of 75. Their drinks are fantastic! The husband likes the bubble tea and I prefer the iced coffee with condensed milk. It is brewed using a Phin Filter (look it up, it's neat) over a glass of sweetened condensed milk. It is soooo good! The strength is weaker than espresso but stronger than traditional brewed coffee. Try it, you won't be sorry! S1 is the best! Flat noodles with shrimp, beef, and chicken mixed in with all the usual suspects found in Vietnamese noodle dishes along with a nice little pile of crushed peanuts on the corner edge of the plate. To die for! The hubs always gets pho soup with eye of round & flank steak...I can't remember what the number is although I know it starts with an "N." The broth is always hot and yummy. Of course, he typically adds hoisin sauce and Sriracha. They also bring a lovely plate of "sides" for your pho which includes: bean sprouts, limes, fresh jalapeno slices, and cilantro sprigs. Such a beautiful sight when all put together and an even better taste! Although I am not a soup person (unless it's REALLY cold or I'm sick..then, bring it on!), I do enjoy a nice bowl of pho every now and again. Best Pho in the area for sure! The broth is always rich and savory and unlike many other places i have tried it is not oily at all. The noodles themselves are tasty and tender and if you are used to having to fish around your bowl to find the meat, you will be surprised by the generous amount of protein packed in their bowls! They seriously dont hold back on the meat. My favorite is the Special Combination Pho (N1) The broth is aromatic, earthy,and as the rest of the soups, it is served with a side of fresh garnishes which include basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapeño, and lime. Here's a tip! Resist the urge to drown the flavor with sriracha or soy, and hold the garnishes until you taste the broth itself! Cant stress how much it is seriously worth savoring. Another favorite of mine are the Eggrolls. They are well rolled/packed and delicious. Their Fountain drinks machine was broken today but that didnt bother me, as i always order the Thai Tea. Hands down the BEST Thai Tea i've had in the area! If you like Bobba, you can also ask for some in your tea. I love bubble tea but i personally dont like they Bobba at all! This is one of the few thing i dislike here. Such a shame. The tapioca balls are tasteless, too hard and annoyingly chewy... almost like if they are old and stale. I would rate this place 5/5 if it wasnt for the service!... It leaves a loooot to be desired. Walking into the place is awkward because no one is there to greet you and let you know you can seat yourself. The servers are not too friendly. I dont even know their names of my servers because they never introduce themselves, they just take your order and walk away or place your plate in front of you and walk away. There are no pleasantries or chitchat at all. If it wasnt for the quality of the food i would probably not like this place too much just based on their service, which is not absolutely terrible but it certainly isn't inviting at all... On the bright side, the food is prepared really fast and brought to your table promptly. If great service is your priority you might find this place lacking but if you are looking for great pho, i would seriously recommend you give this place a try! read more
