I love the spring rolls here, the peanut sauce is very tasty. We tried the popcorn chicken tonight and it was awful. The oil that the food is fried in needs to be CHANGED. The popcorn chicken tasted like old oil, rancid oil. It was inedible. When it reached us it was barely warm, and soggy. The driver had another delivery before us, so I'm not sure if that was why the chicken was not hot and crispy. Even still, if it were hot and crispy, the taste was not tolerable. The inside of this restaurant is so clean! I love that there's booth, bar and table options. Our server was so kind! It wasn't overly busy for a Wednesday at 11:30. Given the name I thought there would be a lot more Vietnamese selection on the menu but was confused by the other Thai and Chinese items. Super excited about Simply Pho House. I've been to multiple locations around Texas and having one in Celina is the obvious choice to help fuel the demand for good vietnamese food. Friday night was busy for them and that's a good sign. All tables were filled up around 6pm which meant business was booming for this growing town. I ordered the combination pho with a jasmine iced tea. Their broth was a lot healthier and lighter than other nearby pho joints (who shall remain nameless of course, lol). All of the garnishes were fresh and they even had hot chili oil! A couple of minor bits: side requests were a little challenging. The kitchen forgot to give me the rare steak on the side but it wasn't really a big deal. It came out rare enough and the broth did eventually cook it. Service was okay and I noticed from the two times I've been here that they could get extremely overwhelmed by the number of people coming in during the peak/busy nights. Otherwise if it's slow like a Monday night the service was on their A game. A keeper in my book. Given how little traffic there is up here it's going to be my new go-to spot! read more

Happened across this place after seeing a post on Facebook advertising the soft opening of this new establishment. Ambiance/layout- very spacious and simple decor. They have both tables and large booths for larger parties who may came in. I asked to sit in the booth to test it out and they happily let us sit in the booth. Menu- No paper menu as of the visit. They had us Scan a QR code for the digital menu. I shared screenshots of the digital menu. As you can see, they have quite a variety of dishes to choose from and not just Pho. What I like about the menu and what they serve is literally the different kinds of Noodles, Rice, Rice Dishes and Specialty entrees. Might I add Chicken Pho! If you need a break from Beefy Pho, there is a Pho Ga option (which ill check eventually). Food Pho Went here for the Pho since that is my absolute all tine Favorite thing to eat and why not? I went with the large Combination Pho. Broth was very delicious as it had a depth of flavor that I had been longing for in the immediate area. They do give a decent portion overall for the price, so by far I see myself coming here for Pho. Springroll- i asked for a bit of a custom bit here (Upcharge- you gotta pay to play folks!). I opted for the Grilled Pork Spring Rolls with added Shrimp. The size of the springrolls were not at all skimpy and the peanut sauce was delicious. Ordered the Pork/Shrimp Bun and Com Plates for a later dinner. The pork in both the dishes was very consistent in portion and flavor. This shop is about a 10 minute drive from home and I will definitely be coming back here now more often for my Pho fix since their food (Flavor and Options). by far are the best in the area. It was a mushy experience. If I were leaving a review purely based upon the dishes that we ordered, I'd be giving the chicken pad Thai and basil fried rice one star. The texture was off. The pad Thai noodles and rice were over cooked - it was like eating bowls of mush. The chicken was also the strangest mushy texture, I've never had anything like it. Additionally, I've never experienced not having the option to choose spice levels on a scale. When I asked for our dishes to be made extra spicy, I was told that they'd include chili oil and red pepper flakes. Neither of which were spicy at all. How disappointing. The fact that these bowls of mush were $35 total HOWEVER, I recognize that this is a Vietnamese restaurant that is also offering other Asian cuisine. So, I will be back to give the Vietnamese options on the menu a chance. The employees were so lovely & the inside of the restaurant looks fantastic! I judge pho restaurants by the clarity of their broth, and this place was outstanding. The brisket in the soup was tender, and the mint leaves and sprouts were fresh.
