    Banh mi ga nuong

First time visitor, and I'd be interested to try different things next time I come. The vietnamese food is lighter on the flavor profiles than what I'm used to, but a couple dishes stood out to my group: - shrimp fried rice (subtle but likable flavor) - banh beo (heavier coconut and mung bean; some crispy parts considering it was a medium-thick batter) Other dishes we tried but were okay with included: - bun bo hue (I like mine deep in lemongrass) - bun thit nuong (okay, not standout worthy) - banh mi ga nuong (great bread! Everything else was okay) The service was informative and quick in food delivery. I am curious about their pho for when I may visit again.

I have been eyeing out this place ever since this open thinking this would be my alternate Vietnamese food fix. Went on an odd hour around 230p-3p. As I was walking in they have a big sign on their door stating that their CC system is not working at the moment, so cash only. Luckily, I've got cash with me. I browsed through the menu ahead of time before coming here and was excited to try the Crispy Salted Shrimp with Steam Rice (extra $ for fried rice) I was thinking $15 might be stiff but when the plate came out, it came with 6 huge, crispies, buttery, salty (trust me, it's good salty) shrimps. Complimented my plate with their Passion Fruit Soda ( this one is too sweet for my liking) Enjoyed my meal and this is potentially can become one of my favorites. The inside isn't too big than what you'd expect but ample seating for a lunch rush in this area.

Delicious Vietnamese food in NTX where you don't have to make the drive to Garland or Arlington. Portions are also very generous. We've tried their pho, dry hu tieu and duck noodle soup and all were delicious. Seating is pretty limited there though. The owners are very sweet and friendly.

For someone who usually goes to Garland or Arlington for authentic Vietnamese cuisine, I was very surprised to see a mom-and-pop place open up in Plano. I read all the reviews online, and the food photos looked amazing, so my sister and I decided to stop by. The restaurant is very small, with only five tables. The owner (I'm assuming) seated us at a larger table when we arrived, but we moved because another party came in and there were no other large tables available. We didn't mind since it happened before the food came out, but it's just something to be aware of. My sister ordered the hu tieu, goi cuon, and I got the fried rice at first. Then I saw a giant banh xeo being brought out to another table and started drooling-- so my fat ass decided to order one as well. All the dishes were delicious and filling, though I wish there had been more lettuce wraps and pickled daikon served with the banh xeo. We also got Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee, and both were solid. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and the service. The owner was very nice, and the food tasted authentic. The prices were $2-3 higher than what you'd typically pay in Garland, but since Plano is a more expensive area, it's totally understandable. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're craving authentic Vietnamese dishes. This place is solid and earned my recognition!

Stopped by Goc Vietnam on Thursday after hearing great things about the food on the Asian Grub Facebook group and we weren't disappointed! My husband and I split the egg rolls, spring rolls, banh xeo, and bo luc lac. The two appetizers we got were fresh and excellent. Spring rolls came with both pork and shrimp, and the peanut sauce on the side was delicious. The egg rolls were fried well and came with cucumber and lettuce that gave the dish a really nice crunchy freshness. The luc lac could've used some more gravy, but the flavor and tenderness of the beef was great and the vegetables were nicely charred. We had never tried banh xeo before and really enjoyed it! It was huge and came with tons of fresh herbs; we had to take half of it home because we couldn't finish. There's not a ton of space to sit down (maybe only 5-6 tables) and there were a few fruit flies buzzing around after we finished our food, so the ambience is not the best. Still, this is a great Vietnamese addition to this strip mall and we're looking forward to coming back and sampling some of the other less common items on the menu.

Hold the pho! (LOL I've always wanted to write that!!). This place rocks. I'm so glad it's here in this area, perfectly rounds out this new strip at Legacy and 75. I got the pho with rare steak and tendon. Totally didn't disappoint. Huge pieces of tendon. Broth was flavorful and not too salty. I hit mine with some chili oil, boy it was perfect. The hubs got the Bun Bo hue, and he said it was his new fave. It too had nice heat. It had different types of meat in there. Came in a HUGE bowl. Just be ready. When you enter, just stand at the counter, they will seat you and bring the menu. We'll be back to try the rice dishes, spring rolls, and the egg noodle dishes!

This place just opened a couple days ago. Owned and operate by a sweet couple. We enjoyed our quick dinner with wonton hu tieu, pho, banh xeo, and gởi cuốn (spring rolls). Service was quick and prompt. Come and support this small mom and pop place. I hope they stay around so I can get my quick fix of Vietnamese food around here.

The restaurant is nice and clean. They have delicious pickled jalapeño and sate. I have tried spring rolls, hu tieu and roasted pork banh mi. All the good are really good. People are very friendly.

Crispy Pork Rice Plate With Egg

I got the crispy pork rice plate which was really really good. The pork was very crispy and not too oily, very delicious and I'll definitely be back to try their other dishes. The staff and owner were also very nice and gave great recommendations.

    Saute, jalapeño, picked garlic condiments

Was looking for something quick and glad we found this place. Ordered one of my favorite soup bowl (combination with clear noodle) and by far this is gonna be my favorite Viet place. They also have the best homemade fresh sauté (caution, it's spicy), pickle garlic and jalapeño. Restaurant is small, clean, friendly with quick service. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. Come and support this small business, you won't be disappointed.

You feel like family here. This new place owned by 2 delightful people happily welcome you. You are greeted with smiles and friendly hospitality. Customer service is a lost art, most people forget it , or don't know how to communicate in this millennial world. Thankfully, there's no cell phone when ordering, speaking to owners, nor waiting for food. So, be polite-put your phone away and enjoy the conversation and experience of authentic Vietnamese food. We ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls for appetizer. For dinner: banh xeo and beef pho. Both came out fast, fresh, and hot. The broth in beef pho is authentic and traditional with all the flavors you expect when enjoying a great bowl of delicious pho. Bahn Xeo was cooked to perfection with the crispy, gold, omelette-looking rice flour stuffed with sprouts, pork, cilantro, and fish sauce on side. It was cooked to perfection and my partner finished the whole thing instead of leaving half behind- like he usually does. No leftovers this time/he didn't even save a bite for me to try?! He said it was delicious and I will have to try another visit. We will be back. Restaurant is nicely decorated-it just opened so, it was not busy at all. No wait, seated fast, and food service fast. Prices are an average. Please, go visit to help them out. The owners are so nice and I want them to succeed in a competitive market. Go support them and enjoy a good conversation with them and some good food.

Mi hu tieu with their chili oil.

Small little mom & pop shop with great pho & hu tieu! They're very new so give them a little grace. I'm just happy to have some great pho nearby.

The service is very good here and they are super friendly. The only bad thing is how small the place is so if youre there during full house you will have to wait. Although it's small, I wouldn't want it to change if it affects quality. So this place is dang near perfect to me. Prices are great as well. I would highly recommend making a trip out to this place. I'll definitely be back.

They hang Vietnamese artifacts everywhere from snacks to comic books to stickers, and the walls are covered with pictures of their extensive menu. It took us a while to decide on just two items but we will definitely be back. One thing to note is that they do not have a tip option when paying with a credit card since it is self service, so bring cash to tip. They also have self service iced tea which is a nice touch. Rice Cracker With Vegetable and Caramelized Sauce / Com Chay Kho Quet Rau Luoc ($17.50): Wow, finally a place that has this and does it right. The rice crackers were crispy but not hard and the kho quet was umami and had a nice spicy kick. The rice crackers and vegetables paired perfectly with the sauce. This is the best kho quet I have ever had and it made my husband's top 3, which is saying a lot since he grew up in Vietnam. Combination Sticky Rice / Xoi Man ($12.50): I loved the flavor combinations, especially the pate with the rice. I would have liked the rice to be a bit stickier since there were a few harder chunks, but I just ate those with the kho quet sauce and it was fine. You also get a generous amount of protein, especially the hard boiled egg slices. We were completely full after just these two dishes. Longan Coconut Water / Nuoc Dua Nhan Nhuc ($7.75): Unfortunately we did not like this drink. The flavors just were not right for us.
