Down in Clearwater visiting friends. While at Publix Bayside earlier in the day I noticed the Pho Bowl restaurant. When we were deciding what we wanted for dinner, I asked if our friends had tried Pho Bowl. They hadn't. I looked at the Yelp rating and said, let's give this place a try. I placed our order as Takeout, 2 chicken and 2 beef Pho, an order of crispy chicken wings and an order of steamed pork buns. Made the quick drive over to pick up our dinner. Upon arriving, everything was nicely packed and packaged, and ready to go. The proprietors were friendly and very hospitable. I arrived back at the house and began assembling the bowls. Each Pho bowl was packed with plenty of noodles, basil, lime, jalapeños, bean sprouts, parsley and a side of hoisin. The broths with beef and chicken were on the side ready to ladle over the noodles. The key to Pho is the broth - no disappointment here! So Flavorful, and rich. We each had a crispy, crispy wing and a bite of pork bun. Both were delicious! I'd visit this place jus for the wings and pork buns! A suggestion - pack the raw beef ingredients on the side allowing the customer to cook it in the hot broth. We were hungry & arbitrarily chose to try Pho Bowl. Boy are we glad we did. We started with an order of fried chicken dumplings. The order came with 6, & I am always happy when they're made with white meat only. Very tasty! Then we each ordered a "chicken banh mi" sandwich. The sandwich was why this place got 5 stars. It contained seasoned & marinated strips of chicken breast, sprouts, cucumber, carrots, & a light wonderful tasting sauce. It was D-lish!!! Even the sandwich roll was amazing. It was crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. I was so busy eating the banh mi that I forgot to take a picture of it, lol. The sole disappointment with Pho Bowl had nothing to do with the food, as it was excellent. The only issue was that the 2 workers there were totally absorbed into their phones. When we went up to order it took awhile for them to look up. Then the entire time we were there, they were obsessed & absorbed with their phones. It's a smart quick service place. Had the ban mi and combo pho and bubble tea. The ban mi was not the best and the pho is ok- the raw beef isn't very raw and there's barely meatballs in there because they cut them in small chunks. Bubbles were good but the tea was very sweet as a milk tea it tasted kinda like Thai tea. They have the station next to the register for the stuff you need to added in pho and also the fried shrimp crackers. read more

This place is like a fast food restaurant- customers order and pay at the counter, sit themselves, put a number tag on the table. The dishes will be brought to you. The water, utensil, sauce, garnish like basil, bean sprout, chili , lime square are self serve. Their fried spring roll was good . The grill pork vermicelli salad I had was Ok. It tasted as good as any other Vietnamese places I tried before. The bowl was big . I was quite hungry that time and barly finished it. The place was clean and service was very good. Update: after 7 months, we decided to give this place another try. Notes- the pho wss significantly better than the first time although the meatballs were cut too small for my liking.. We got the mango boba smoothie. It tasted weird? Honestly i tasted more tamarind in it than i did mango. Idk maybe need to revisit their boba recipes. Side notes: love love the shrimp chips. And the wooden chopsticks... i just can NOT enjoy my pho with disposable wooden chopsticks. Im sorry but it totally takes away from the experience. I will probably bring my own next time. Drove a long way to try out their Pho soup because I'm a big Pho lover. However, the customer service really disappointed me, I tried to order "Pho eye round steak +brisket+Meant balls" with replacement of veggie broth instead of beef broth, and I'm willing to pay whatever the original price for the beef broth, very simple request right? I had to explain to this lady many times and she speaks perfect English, on top of that she asked for upgrade charges for changing broth, come on I used to work in a Vietnamese restaurant, it's just as simple as scoping the veggie broth instead of beef broth. It's not that I'm not happy about the price, it's her unwillingness to help and provide good customer experience, I had to walk out and never look back. This newer cafe is a real find! Lovely Vietnamese people who know how to make delicious, healthful food served in an ultra clean environment. Although you order at a walk-up counter, the staff is super attentive in delivery of the food and follow-up. My vermicelli noodle with fresh vegetables and tofu was as good as I've ever had and I've been ordering these at Vietnamese restaurants for about 20 years!!! The banh mi had a good amount of meat in it and bread was fresh. The noodle bowl was a large portion and was good - lots of veggies and fish sauce done well. Was our first visit, and I was pleased. The menu is simple but has all the right basics. The restaurant is clean and spacious and the décor is nice. I really liked the fresh herb/condiment bar - we can pick what we want without wasting those items that we don't want. The staff is really friendly and helpful. We ordered the Pork Viet Bao and a bowl of Pho. It's hard to go wrong with tender pork and soft steam buns - and these were fantastic. The soup - for me - was good. My dining partner is Vietnamese, and for her, the soup fell short. I'll agree, it's not the most authentic Viet pho, but as far as the flavor goes, I thoroughly enjoyed it. (And for me, a tasty bowl of soup is still a tasty bowl of soup, regardless of what it's called.) To be clear, this establishment has set their target market on the western taste palate, and it appears to be working - there were only Caucasians in the restaurant while we were dining, and there are plenty of good reviews for it. Minimalistic yet appropriate decore welcomes you to this Vietnamese eatery. We tried a variety of menu items starting with deliciously sweetThai tea and Bobba strawberry smoothies. We then enjoyed the pork egg rolls which were filled differently than I have had before and we really liked this twist. The dumplings were fried and the dipping sauce was super yummy. The shrimp pho was very good, please note it was topped with cilantro prior to being served. (I have one daughter that won't eat anything green but she had plenty of other food options). This place seems like a fast food pho place. It's not like one of those pho restaurants where they take your order and bring everything to you. Here to wait in line, chose and pay, than you get your order at your table. The toppings for the pho are at a little topping station near the register along with some ice water and soy sauce. If I was comparing this place to a pho restaurant I would give it 3 stars, but as a different style pho place I give it a 4. Right off the bat I'd steer away from the boba here. Just not up to par and not worth the $4+ to get it. The dumplings are your standard frozen style dumplings, nothing fancy. The buns are pretty good. I tried the pork buns and they had some good sauce on it. The pho comes in a good sized bowl and the price is pretty comparable to most other pho places. It looked a little empty at first or maybe they just put more broth in it then I'm used to. I know I said "fast food pho" but it did take some time to get the pho out to me. The broth is tasty and kinda on the sweeter side imo. It was also a little more oily than I'm used to. Usually I'll drink all the broth after I'm done but I could handle that this time. Still it gave me my pho fix so that's a plus. The seating here is what really makes it feel like a fast food place. Open seating in a open space. However along the right wall there are a couple booth seating available. But you seat yourself so first come first served. I think the real reason I'm giving this place a 4 and not 3 star rating was the service. Really nothing fancy, and they don't do much more than bring the food to you and clean your table, they are not waiting on you. But they had such great smiles and the guy at the register was pretty cheery. All in it was pretty good. The first time I ordered Pho from this place I loved it. But the last 2 times their beef was leathery and hard and stuck together in large clumps as if it had been frozen together for a long time until just before they added it to the broth. Definitely not tender or enjoyable. I thought it may have been a one-off fluke but just happened again. Can't recommend it. read more

The food is so good! I had been ordering from them on Uber Eats for their banh mi and spring rolls. Finally, went in to check out the place and had the pho. The service is so quick and friendly. And the woman who I think is the owner or manager. She didn't speak very much English, but she was so sweet and attentive. This place is a gem! They have been open for about several months now and I seem to find myself going at least once a week! Place is very cafeteria style, you get your own water and veggie side dish. I ordered a tofu bun, and the shrimp pho and tropical boba tea! Food came out quick and fresh! The Tofu bun was so good, very tasty and the Tofu was cooked perfectly! The Pho broth was simply amazing! Clean, fresh , hot and absolutely so tasty! The shrimp was cleaned and deveined annnnd the tail was cutoff! They put a lot of work preparing the pho! I can't say enough good things about it. The Tropical Boba tea was a nice finishing touch to a great meal! Came here to drink their Boba tea! (I'll have to come back to check out their actual food because I love Pho and Bhan Mi sandwiches)! I'm a bit dissapointed at the boba tea they had to offer. (it's so sickly sweet, which sure you can expect from boba tea... it's usually pretty sweet) But I wish there was a way to make it so that the tea didn't have so much sugar added to it. I think their tea would taste a lot better if they didn't premake it or pre-buy it, but brewed it and then added sugar later that way the customers are able to choose how they want their tea sweetened. I'm impressed with the customer service though, they are very sweet and nice... Great family owned business and even better Vietnamese food! The food came out quick but was so fresh and the taste was very authentic. For a 'quick service' type of restaurant the food tasted very good. The pho toppings are buffet style but the broth had a great taste that it didn't need much.
