Korean zing wings, 18 pieces
Ruochen W.

Want Vietnamese cuisine? Teriyaki? Japanese udon? Korean food? The answer at this place is "yes". The self serve pho veggie was brilliant and we were able to get the amount of bean sprouts and herbs that suited each individual. The pork banh mi with egg was creamy and deliciously sliced. My sandwich loving friend was very pleased. The pho is also good. I loved the service of pho in giant metal bowls. It added that wow factor of presentation. It was the picture of the wings that drew me to this place initially. The Korean zing flavored 18 piece wings set wasn't spicy at all though plenty juicy and flavorful.

The pho was fine, nothing special. But $30 for a regular size bowl of noodles, broth, and maybe a quarter lb of beef and a small iced coffee feels insulting. Also the usual counter service and self-bus with expectation of a tip. The owner also parked his cybertruck in the no parking zone between two handicap spots--effectively blocking both for anyone who needs them--WHILE someone with a handicap sticker was parked there. I saw the driver of the handicap vehicle struggle to get into his vehicle while clearly in pain and yeah I'll never come back here again. I guess if you like asian pop music and a sterile eating environment it's chill.

It was a nice restaurant. They have kind of a bar where you can grab what pho things you want so there isn't anything wasted its really nice. I will say the sprouts looked really sad but everything else looks good. The pho was good. They have lots of options. It was a little spendy imo, but maybe I'm just feeling inflation and missing the good ol days of 9.99 pho. The chicken wings we got were delicious.

I liked that they had a serve yourself area for the toppings for the pho which leads to less waste. The portion was decent. The broth for the chicken pho was lacking the pho flavor, it tasted more like a chicken soup based stock.

Regular Pho - Brisket and Flank Steak
Keilyn K.

I ordered a regular brisket and flank steak pho to go. It was nicely packaged and comes with a bowl you can use to eat out of, no chopsticks or spoon though. The broth was great and I appreciate getting the sides (sauce, basil, cilantro, jalapeños, and bean sprouts). The "regular" portion was perfect. The only downfall is that most of the flank steak had lots of connective tissue making it extremely chewy and some parts were inedible. Brisket was good though! Noodles were good too (I had to heat up my broth and let them sit for a bit to become softer). Overall 3/5. I would return again but I would probably just get brisket.

Came here for a post workout meal and left pretty satisfied. I got the chicken breast katsu, which came with A LOT of katsu, some salad and rice, and katsu sauce. I was super impressed by the portion size here as they really loaded up on the protein! Taste wise, it was definitely more on the "fast food" side. I feel like Pho Box is more of a jack of all trades kind of restaurant, as they have a really extensive menu of different things including pho, Korean food, rice bowls, etc. You order at the front when entering the restaurant, and then choose a place to sit. The staff will bring out your food to you when it's ready. Service is pretty minimal outside of that, water and utensils are pretty self serve. Inside is decently large, with a good mix of small/large tables.

We visited Pho Box with a big group on a Friday evening. It's a small, no-frills spot, so don't go in expecting much in terms of ambience. It's all about the food here! We ordered the chicken pho, chicken banh mi, and taro boba tea. The chicken pho had a flavorful broth, but it was a bit too mild for my liking. After adding chili oil and the hot sauces they provided, it really came to life and tasted great. The banh mi sandwich was a hit with my kid--she loved it! The standout for me, though, was the taro boba tea. It was so good--creamy, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. If you're looking for solid food and don't mind the lack of atmosphere, Pho Box is worth a visit. I'd definitely go back just for the boba tea!

Honey garlic wing plate

Today was my fourth time going to pho box, I ordered my usual plate "crispy garlic wings". They brought me "honey garlic wings" ? No worries. Could have been a misinterpretation...So I let the server know and while doing so I also order me a side of rice. Server took the wings and said he was going to change them, I said thank you and waited; he comes back and tells me that there's nothing they can do about it because wings are expensive?? (The wings and rice I paid for.) he puts the plate back on the table and just walks away. I am very upset I paid $22.60 for 6 wings I didn't even eat. They brought me wings smothered in honey when the wings I get are crispy I'm not dramatic but these two very different things. I am very upset do as you please with the review

I came here after my daughter's birthday party with the kids and my own family which was probably about 6 kids and two adults. They all ordered pho except me I just had a vermicelli bowl. Food was great and service per usual

Went here as i was craving pho before flying Pho was okay. It was not as spice heavy as i would like, and wasn't topped as heavily. Cilantro could be added via the sauce bar however. The meatballs was delicious, as it has a heavy garlic flavor. I would recommend that topping if you were to go get pho. The meat in the bowl was not as seared compared to other places I've been, so it also wasn't as flavorful as I'd like. Service was good, the owners seem nice and was able to accommodate takeout requests. It was a casual place so it fit the vibe and atmosphere. The bahn mi looks to be value, so I'm curious about it. Would want to try it out whenever I get the next opportunity.

We were really excited to try this place for the first time! We were excited about all the options they had available. We finally settled for the crab Rangoon, honey garlic wings, sundubu, and pho. Everything tasted really good! I've had better sundubu tofu soup elsewhere but it still tasted good. We'd love to come back and try other items on the menu. The cashier was friendly and explained where to grab sides and utensils. Nice little place on the inside. Also, the Thai tea was delicious! I forgot to take a picture but highly recommend everyone to give it a try!

Very clean and fully stocked. A very nice touch.

Went and had dinner here last night with my partner. The woman at the counter was very friendly, helpful and gracious. I ordered chicken pho and he ordered the pork banh-mi and spring rolls. The spring rolls are what I believe a spring roll should be. Simple and tasty with a crunch. The bread on the sandwich was fresh and the pho was nice to have. This establishment is clean, friendly, modern and spacious. They have a unique set up that I really enjoyed. We will definitely be back to enjoy other items on their menu.

Located in a strip mall with lots of parking. You can either dine in or take out. I did take out. My order didn't take long, maybe 10 min. I ordered the shrimp vermicelli and spring rolls. Both were yummy. The spring roll could've used fresh basil and the vermicelli could've came with more vegetables and vermicelli considering the price. The taste was definitely there, just my preference for an abundance of fresh veggies. I would come back and try their bahn mi.

Pho so good it doesn't need anything added to the broth. Definitely suggest this for people looking for that higher tier of pho

Took a look at the menu and noticed the Combo Special prices went up again, since the last time we came to this restaurant! The Beef Bulgogi and Tofu Soup combo showed a price of $37.99! I recall it being $28.99 - $34.99 in the past 2-3 years! Dunno why the prices keep going up, but that's something we realized while checking out the menu, which has been pretty much the same ever since the first time. Our complimentary fried fish and side dishes were dropped off at our table shortly after placing our food order. Then about 10 minutes later, we received the Bibimbap and Beef Bulgogi. Seemed like the meat dish's portion size dropped once again! It used to be a bigger sized plate, if I remember correctly... Anyway, we enjoyed our food and atmosphere while we dined in. I cannot commit to large volume when I don't know what it taste like. So instead I ordered kimbop and their soup of the day. That soup of the day - it was a beef and radish soup. Insane flavor! The broth was delicious and left us wanting to try more foods. Came back and of course ordered more of the soup of the day which was still the beef and radish. And also ordered a Korean lunch box. The offerings in the box were delicious. The Korean tonkatsu was crispy and paired with a sauce that was very sweet. A little too sweet for my liking. But the egg omelette was delicious. The jap chae was seasoned well. We will definitely keep coming back to this place. The food is good and offers a great addition to the neighborhood.

These folks probably need another great review like Elon Musk needs an increase in his allowance,…read morebut fairness demands that I not keep silent regarding my enjoyment of this restaurant: THE ROSES: Ample dedicated parking. The staff is gracious, prompt, professional, and - I hope no one objects when I say this - rather attractive. Generous portions and reasonable prices for what you're getting. The food is nothing sort of legendary - bold flavors and dishes have the perfect balance of sweet, heat, savory, and umami. THE THORNS: None significant enough to mention. NEITHER ROSE NOR THORN: It is important to note that this place is insanely popular with the area's Korean community. The restaurant is quite busy Thursday thru Sunday, and significant waits for a table are likely. Monday thru Wednesday is your best time for going and getting a table without a wait. The price of some dishes, like their signature offering, Kalbijjim, might give you a pause ($80+). It is important to keep in mind this is made to order, and one serving can easily serve four regular appetites. If you're just a couple, you're definitely going to be taking this home with you. This is not a bad thing, as Kalbijjim is one of those dishes that is even better the next day and doesn't suffer from reheating. THE VERDICT: Daeho Kalbijjim is extremely popular, and it's not hard to see why. The execute authentic Korean cuisine pretty much flawlessly with efficient and charming service. What else to you want in a restaurant? Highly recommend. Just try not to go on the busy days.

The first time I visited, the quality of the meat cuts didn't impress me, and the soups lacked depth of flavor. I'm not talking about needing more salt--the broth itself just tasted flat. When you're paying close to $30 for a bowl of soup, I think it's reasonable to expect a higher level of quality and care to ingredients. The second visit was a mixed experience. To be fair, I was in the wrong. There is a clearly posted policy stating that your entire party must be present before being seated. My group was about seven minutes away, and since I had already checked in on Yelp and there were only two parties ahead of me with no one physically waiting, I asked if I could be seated and order while I waited. I had already been standing inside for about 10 minutes. I was told that although tables were available, seating me ahead of the other parties on the waitlist would be unfair. I understood the reasoning, but she had also asked prior for my order. Her explanation left me confused so i sheepishly said I understood the policy. She already seemed upset by the time i had gotten there. Sometimes we have off days i get that. This place is clearly hit or miss, I've got friends who absolutely swear by it. For me, though, it wasn't anything special and didn't justify the price. If you're looking for Korean food in the area, I've had better experiences with higher-quality dishes elsewhere, especially in Lynnwood.
