Alright been here several times over the past two years and I have to say this place is pretty good. Love the other locations and this location is just the same. They have outdoor seating in the parking lot and some days there is no one here and some days there's loads of people waiting for pickup or to be seated. This place is definitely consistent for us. What we always order: Egg Rolls Pho with rare beef, tendon, tripe, the works pretty much Pho without the tripe Chicken pho for the little one Dry noodles: Vermicelli with eggrolls and charbroil pork We haven't ate here since the quarantine, but still order 'to go'. The packaging is on point, nothing leaking, nothing messy. Everything in the right container. They take precautions and will ask for you to wait outside and distance. The food is still good despite the change. Pho still has lots of flavor, I always add a bit of water to cool it down for my daughter and still tastes as if I did nothing. That's when you know it's good and will taste even better the next day. Since we have been ordering here for 2 years, you can say that's why the 5 star. It's hard for a restaurant to be consistent. The food is not great here. Okay first they lose 1 star for their bad service and they should know better. Why in the business when you don't even acknowledge your customers coming in. I would have walked out if I did not place an order to go through Grub Hub. The rest is about their food. Pho broth is salty and oily. This is not good pho. Spring rolls tasteless and I order the grill pork spring roll... not sure what the meat was but it was fatty, grisly and gross. Fried rice thumbs down. I wasn't sure whether to give this place 3 or 4 stars. My friend raved about the place and drove me all the way from Bankers Hill to Santee to check the place out. Super attentive staff!! But the pho didn't really have any taste or flavor. I had to keep putting stuff in it, including the peanut sauce from the spring rolls, Tabasco I keep in my purse, pepper, etc. etc. to try to give it some flavor (of course I put all the jalapeños, lime, and bean sprouts in). There still wasn't enough flavor in the pho. And to add insult to injury, they don't serve wine. They serve beer, but not wine. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

This place is my go-to for pho in Santee. They have my favorites on their menu, including rare steak, fresh spring rolls, and jasmine tea. The waitresses and waiters are helpful and attentive. The place is well lit and welcoming. read more

I'm currently writing this from another pho place about a mile to the east and we had waters and an order in, within 5min. Looks like it is new management and new employees. The manager was trying but we just weren't getting any attention so we walked before ordering. We tried to order to-go over the phone but the phone continued to ring. So we decided to uber eats pick-up and our order was placed with no problems. There was sufficient amount of parking. When I arrived to pick up my order I waited another 15-20 minutes for the food to be ready. It was packed inside the restaurant. There weren't many waiting chairs for people to wait. We absolutely love this place for the pho itself! The food is so delicious. We always get the filet mignon pho as well as the egg rolls. Both are always very consistent and good! The customer service is not amazing but we dont really mind. We always have to ask for the same things every time we go such as the chili oil and chili paste and an extra plate of garnishes (they always only bring 1 when we order 2 phos and each person wants their own). The food was good and is our go to place when we come to town. However the service from Timothy was horrible and made me upset. I went with my parents who speak Spanish and I always do the ordering for them. I made drink order in English to the service and asked my parents in Spanish what they would like to drink . Timothy automatically said oh you want someone who speaks Spanish and I told him NO I speak English no need. Delicious food all around. I often go for their rare steak pho, which is delicious, but I'll tell ya, their grilled chicken is BOMB. I don't know what they do to it, but it's so flavorful and tender. When I'm not in the mood for red meat, that's what I'll go for. Their lemongrass beef is also amazing and flavorful, and really adds something extra to your standard pho bowl. The customer service at this place was ridiculous. You walk in the door nobody greets you. We wait 15 minutes. I finally had to get up to get their attention then we sit down and they take another 20 minutes again servers walking by bus girls walking by owners behind the counter, no one pays attention again. Their servings are pretty decent and it's pretty okay. We like eating Pho, and we usually order large. But compare to other Pho places that we've been to, their bowls are way smaller and it doesn't seem like you ordered a large bowl. Also, you can count how much meat they put into your Pho. It would really be more appreciated if they add more if an individual ordered a large. I have not seen their regular bowls, but I cannot imagine how much food is in it. We also ordered some chicken wings, I believe it was the fish sauce flavored ones, and meh, it wasn't the greatest, but it was okay. One thing that I like about this place would be the robot that would take your order from the front desk to your table. I think that deserves a high-five. It reminds me of the ones in Japan. But other than that, I would give this place a three (3) star out of five (5). We'll go here again and try it again, and maybe on our next visit, it'll change and I'll make an update on my review. read more

I came here for the first time with my boyfriend the other day. We ordered grilled chicken, shrimp fried rice, and egg rolls. Everything was good ... I have to say I LOVED the egg rolls lol. They were pretty large and they were the perfect crisp on the outside :). As far as how the service goes, I'd say it's very relaxed. It worked well for my bf and I because we kinda like to be left alone but I could see how that could be challenging for people that want a little more attentiveness. My tip for that would be maybe to just make sure to get a seat towards the front where you can wave people down a little more easily as opposed to towards the back. read more

Doordashed this stuff tonight. Paid $39. Plus driver tip. Driver was rude enough, so I'm annoyed that I had to tip him ahead of time, but I digress. Order was: 1 Superbowl pho, large (extra $), with steak, tripe, brisket, and ordered extra meatballs. For an extra $1.60. 1 regular sized with steak and ordered meatballs (extra $1.60). 6 piece fried egg roll ($10.39) even though it said $3.60 on the menu, but I figured, hey, egg rolls. Order arrived egg rolls refrigerator cold, (I fried them to make them edible) and two small bowls of steak only pho, no meatballs, one soup container on its side and spilled out into the plastic bag, the other soup an entirely different shade of gray. My husband and I split the remaining broth and I microwaved mine to make it hot. The noodles came out in one piece, throughout the entire meal. My husband cooked his on the stove. The sauce for the eggrolls tasted like a petting zoo smells, and the broth tasted like boiled water someone threw a piece of meat in for color. I called this restaurant so they could fix it. The man told me "Oh, next time you order, we will fix it.". I said "it's almost 9, so what am I supposed to do for dinner now?" And he replied "we are closed now" Crappy delivery (for which doordash received a lengthy review), crappy food, crappy customer service. I will never order from this place again! read more

I used come here all the time, and was bomb. Its been a year since and boy has it changed. Looks like they spent $ on the interior of while skimping on ingredients and FLAVOR and raised the price. I'm not sure why people are reviewing pleasantries. Pho shops have long opened for "turn and burn" methods. With that said, we got our food fast and enjoyed every last drop.
