I've come to learn that every single Pho Ca Dao is different in their flavors. I've been to some that are great and I would say this one is average. Not bad by any means, but nothing that impressed me. The prices are hard to beat, most dinner items average about $13. Pretty good deal. I door dashed the classic spring rolls and the Vietnamese coconut chicken curry. I'm kicking myself for not ordering the grilled shrimp spring rolls as I imagine they would be better. The meat in the classic ones wasn't to my liking. Bland and overcooked. The shrimp, mint and peanut sauce was nice. As for the curry, it's decent, I've definitely had far better so to me this is about a 6/10. Personally, I probably won't go back to this location because this is now my second "meh" experience here. If you're looking for cost friendly, go here. If you're looking for better flavor try the spot down the street.

This was our first visit to Pho Ca Dao Grill, and the place was very cozy. We had a great experience eventhough we arrived about half an hour before closing, the service was still friendly and welcoming. The pho was very tasty, the spring rolls were delicious, and the Vietnamese coffee was absolutely the bomb! Everything came out fresh and flavorful. We'll definitely be coming back again.

Very nice & clean inside with lots of seating. staff is super friendly. I appreciate the interior decor, very eye catching. I got pho and it was delicious, so good especially when you're sick. My cousin got this other dish with rice I forgot which one (see the picture) but it was also delicious just the ratio of meat to rice was a little off. Another interesting thing is I tried their salted lemonade soda for the first time and I never tried something like that before it's literally salt with lemon and soda hahah. Pretty good tho I enjoyed it. Lots of parking outside too.

Pho Ca Dao is mouthwateringly amazing and delicious! Whether we dine out or order in, the meal is always phenomenal. The attention to detail is unmatched! Unpackaging a delivery order from here feels like Christmas morning, I swear, LOL! I forgot to take a photo of my pho delivery, BUT each item comes separately, which I appreciate immensely. Raw steak in a baggie, fresh veg in another baggie, noodles and green onion in another container, and hot broth in the styrofoam soup container. It's truly a treat, and nothing arrives soggy or overcooked! Service and ambiance are lovely when we dine in, as well.

This place is just a block from the Escondido Center for the Arts. We were hungry after performing, and looking for a place close by. My daughter order a pork and rice dish, and my husband and I ordered pho. Plus some appetizers- chicken wings, and spring rolls. Like at the other Pho Cau Do restaurants, we were not disappointed. Food was good and comforting. Glad there was one so close by.

This is DEFINITELY FRIED! Not Grilled like the menu says.

The ambiance and service was great. Friendly staff and our food came out quick. Food was very good too. I would recommend this place.

Disgusting! I door dashed 2 soups. I opened up my soup this is what I found! I immediately called the restaurant and they said they'd refund me my money.Way to ruin pho for me,traumatized. Wonder if they continued to serve others from this same batch!?!

From the moment you walk in, you can tell this restaurant takes pride not only in the food but also in the atmosphere. The space is bright, clean, and well-organized, with a calm energy that makes dining here both relaxing and enjoyable. The menu offers an incredible variety--pho, rice dishes, noodles, sandwiches, boba drinks, and more--so it's easy to find something that suits your taste. Each dish feels thoughtfully prepared, with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors that stand out. A must-try appetizer is the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce. They arrive fresh and neatly wrapped, with crisp vegetables, perfectly cooked shrimp, and that creamy, nutty peanut sauce that ties everything together. Light yet satisfying, they're a great way to start your meal. Another standout is the pork sandwich (Bánh Mì), which feels like a labor of love. The baguette is toasted just right--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside--filled with tender, flavorful pork that's marinated to perfection. Add in the pickled carrots, cucumber, jalapeños, and sprigs of cilantro, and you get an amazing balance of savory, sweet, and tangy flavors. Each bite is a perfect mix of texture and taste, making it one of the best Bánh Mì sandwiches you'll find in North County. Don't miss the fried rice, a fragrant and well-seasoned dish that's both comforting and rich. The only minor drawback is that the protein--such as chicken, shrimp, or beef--comes separately. Still, the quality makes it worthwhile. For drinks, the boba teas are superb--smooth, not overly sweet, and made with fresh tapioca pearls that have just the right chew. While parking can sometimes be tricky, Chef's Pho & Grill more than makes up for it with its excellent food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're craving a quick lunch, a cozy dinner, or a refreshing drink, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

I rarely comment good things about the bathrooms anywhere, but their bathroom was very clean. I was also impressed with the generous meat portion in their pho. Their water was nice and cold. Didn't taste like tap. Only little thing is that their napkins are difficult to grab at the table when too fully stocked. Would I come back here? Yeah! I'm going to bring more people here too!

Disclaimer: Had I not been part of a large gathering that was coming here, I doubt I ever would have come to this buffet. Pros: They had the World Cup playing on a "2017 New" 36ish inch TV with the tags still on it The food was mostly hot The cream cheese wontons were delicious, creamy, and crispy Cons: I tried like 11 items, and only the cream cheese wontons were hittin'.
