Best Pho I've had in a long time. Everything that was ordered was excellent. The meat in every dish was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Service seems to have improved because we had the sweetest girl taking care of our table on 8/23 around 6:30pm. This will be our new go to place! read more

Came here because this is the only place that I know of in north county San Diego that has the beef rib pho. Food is actually pretty good. No matter how good the food is though, you always remember if you receive bad customer service. We did come late close to closing but they said their last call was at 8:30. Little did I know that we were only going to have 15 minutes to eat our food and pretty much got rushed out of the restaurant. We had our food served at 8:45 and they close at 9 pm. Within those 15 minutes we were reminded twice about their closing time. I don't know why they would even have last call at 8:30 and expect their customers to finish their meal in such a short time. If I would have known this I wouldn't of even eaten here. I have never been so rushed eating at a restaurant even if it was past their closing time. We couldn't even enjoy our meal that we spent close to $50 for and had to go to Arby's on our way home. Maybe they have better service during the day time but don't come here if it's past 8pm so you can actually enjoy your meal. High prices, mediocre food, with the most un-friendly service I've ever had in a restaurant. Our issues began immediately upon walking into the restaurant. Our waiter wouldn't make eye contact, and when it came to ordering my partner and I became uncomfortable. The waiter sternly suggested we order different dishes then what we had originally planned on. We did not argue, and we came to a compromise for ordering our food. We also ordered an appetizer of the Vietnamese chicken wings which were dry and lacked flavor. For the remainder of the short visit, the responses we got from him were abrupt in tonality, and did NOT match the service other tables received. We received the bill midway through eating our food. The waiter ran my card directly in front of the table which really made us feel rushed to leave. I will be avoiding this mediocre business and try one of the many other Pho places that at least pretend they appreciate your patronage. read more

Horrible customer service. They served us SPOILED Thai tea last night and when we tried to call back they were closed so my sister left a voice-mail. We never got a phone call back so we called to follow up. We're told they needed the Thai teas back. Do we really need to keep those spoiled Thai tea overnight? I literally took a sip and had to throw it all up. I felt sick after and couldn't even eat the rest of my food. A woman answered and claimed to be the manager (we didn't get her name). Instead of apologizing, she defended herself and said the milk that was used was not expired. Honestly, we buy dinner from this place often but I don't think we will ever go back. We were happy to come and try this location as it just opened not too long ago. We tried a few pho restaurants in the north county area, but have never been happy or impressed with the food. I grew up eating at Pho Hoa on El Cajon Blvd, which I feel is the most authentic. Since I have moved many times I have not been there in years, but crave to find that 1 restaurant. This is better than any of the other restaurants I have found in North County. This is part of a chain, so the food is comparable to the other locations. The food seems to be a bigger portion, but the price also reflects that. I don't think I have ever paid so much for a plate at any pho restaurant. Maybe due to COVID? Anyway, it ranges from $13 - $15 a plate without the cost of add ons. The inside of this location does not match the outside. The inside is very clean and with modern decoration. The outside location is run down and there were homeless on sitting at the other end of the building. As far as service, it is the traditional pho restaurant service. They do not engage in small talk, just want to get your order and get you in and out. Think of it as a fast-food restaurant with a restaurant setting. Then you won't be disappointed in the service because your expectations will be different. read more

When we called the server, instead of apologizing and correcting the problem she doubled checked what she wrote originally and said "yeah you did order no tripe" then she kept just looking back at the kitchen from where are table were. We ordered to go and when my husband went to pick up the food, when he got home the noodle that is part of the order was missing and I called them up and the woman on the phone was not friendly and looks like it was our fault and she said come and pick it up. So we went back to try more menu items. I'm giving them three stars because the service was very friendly and the atmosphere is very clean and new. We had high hopes and ordered the Saigon bao buns with pork and the crispy waterfall chicken. The bao buns are nothing like the photo on the menu. They were served with nothing else on the plate. Although the flavor was good, almost half the meat was fat. The crispy waterfall chicken had no flavor and all we knew for sure is that it was a chicken leg and some haphazardly cut up dark meat pieces of chicken with bone, skin and gristle served with a very simple salad, not vegetables like the menu says, and the garlic rice which again taste nothing like garlic. It was also served with a pho broth and a soy sauce/fish sauce broth. When we ask our server what sides go on the bao buns, she said she was new and will ask. PHO was good and some of the foods. But the SERVICE DEFINITELY NEEDS TO IMPROVE. We have to repeat our ordes to the lady 5 times or maybe more before she fully understands what we are ordering. We are already pointing to the menu what we want. It took maybe 5 to10 mins. for our order to be finalized cause she keeps going back and forth while she's taking our orders. When we asked for a to go boxes we've waited again we've asked for it 3 times to 3 different waiters/servers. And also when we got our Salt & Pepper chicken wings and the lady who took our order saw it she said 'Oh no! that's the chicken wings? that's not how i make mine' so what does that mean?
