My husband and I came here for lunch on a Friday. There were quite a bit of people having lunch but there were no lines into most of the eateries in the area. We opted to grab lunch at Pho Central. I was going to order pho but I thought I'd order something different. I ordered #21 - grilled chicken with egg rolls and rice noodles. My husband ordered #28 - grilled chicken with egg rolls and rice. It came out in a reasonable amount of time. The portion size was good. The egg roll pieces in the dish was the best part. The sauce was in the side, but it wasn't for me personally. I ate what I could and brought it home and added my own sauce. I do look forward to returning to trying their pho.

The restaurant is not big, only a few tables. However, you can choose to eat outdoor and the server will bring the food outside to you. We ordered a pho with just briskets, chicken pho and a broken rice dish with grilled pork and egg rolls. All came out hot and delicious. Even my boys keep nodding their head when eating, which is great. If I'm ever around this area again, will definitely come back to this place.

We went here for the first time. We ordered chicken pho and well done steak pho. Both soups costs about $13 each. The broth tastes really good. My son love it so much. The service is friendly and quick. We went around 5:30pm so it was not that busy. They serve us our food within 15 mins. The ambiance is okay. They have TV playing sports. Floor is clean and the parking space is big enough to accommodate lots of customers.

I ordered the pho combination and it was bland! The tendons were a bit tough. The place is clean and quaint with several tables available for dine in. Disappointed that they offer disposable utensils and only one sriracha packet. Service was nice hence the extra star.

This is a wonderful spot to have some great Vietnamese food and sit outside in the patio. I had the chicken pho and added veggies. I love that you can add extra meter of veggies to anyone of the soups. Hubby had a pork banh mi, and spring rolls. Will definitely be back. Our server was super friendly too.

We are on a quest to find our favorite pho in north county. After a late night, I was really craving some flavorful pho broth and Pho Central had good reviews. Located in a shopping plaza in an area that mostly has office buildings, it was quiet on a Saturday morning, but there still were people coming to get their fix. You order at the counter and then they bring you your food to the table. The cutlery was all disposable, but the dishes and bowls are reusable if you are tracking that sort of thing. (It was a question on Yelp lol) I had the pho with rare beef. I enjoyed it. Was hoping the broth would be a bit more flavorful, would definitely get it again. My bf had the spring rolls with chicken. He liked them and enjoyed the peanut dipping sauce. We need to try the bahn mi next.

Might not be this places fault, might be the fact that I have the privilege of being from the SGV which is home to the best asian cuisine in So Cal we had this place to-go, portions are small, pho broth is bland, noodles are tough, may have had the worst spring roll I've ever had, came out like if it was me making my first shrimp and pork spring roll. the egg rolls are tiny, and don't look or taste homemade. plus sign is its not that expensive. I don't write reviews often, but this place absolutely deserves one. Everything was SO good from start to finish. The pho broth? Incredible. It was rich, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and comforting in a way that makes you slow down and really enjoy every bite. You can truly taste the care and time that goes into it. What made it even better was the service. The person who helped us was so courteous, friendly, and genuinely inviting. They didn't just drop the food and walk away -- they actually came up to us to personally ask if we were enjoying everything and if it was our first time there. This place consistently provides great customer service and great food at a more than fair price. David the owner, gave us a warm greeting & helped us again with our order and this time we brought more family members. We sat outdoor by the large fountain which was so nice & cool. Kids were entertained. Food came out and was brought to us in a timely manner with all the necessary utensils & condiments. Came here at 5:00, two hours before closing- all the chairs were on the tables, but their "open" sign said they were still open. We poked our head in the kitchen and asked if they were open, and they said no "we ran out of food"! Wow, bad inventory control...how can you manage a restaurant like that, disappointing. read more

I finally got a chance to visit Pho Central in Carlsbad, Ca. I've heard so many good things about it from fellow Yelpers and it's all true. Prices are very reasonable, the food is wonderful and authentic and the owner, David was very welcoming. David took the time to answer any questions we had about the menu and his business and he made sure that we enjoyed our lunch. I ordered pho with well done steak. The broth was savory and the little touch of chili oil and sirachacha gave it a nice little kick of spice.The tender slices of steak elevated it to a hearty meal and it was exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to return to try other offerings because I don't have a doubt in my mind that they will be just as amazing. I don't usually leave reviews but I had to for this restaurant, so you can avoid wasting your money like I did. I have no idea why people are writing amazing reviews because this was possibly the worst pho I've ever had. Stopped here during lunch while we were out running errands because we saw it had 4.8 stars and about 300 reviews. This restaurant is located in a small food plaza, with several hole-in-the-wall-style spots. There were no customers to be seen at peak lunch hour, this should've been a warning sign. As soon as we walked in, it was set up like a small café with maybe six tables and some high chairs, along with two TV menu screens. The front door is designed to stay wide open up to the ceiling, so there was a lot of wind blowing in, and they had ceiling fans running on top of that. Right across from this restaurant was a pizza place with the exact same setup. That kind of layout might work for a sandwich or takeout spot, but not for a pho restaurant. We had to order at the counter, and the food was brought out with wooden chopsticks, plastic forks and spoons, a tiny to-go cup for chili oil, and just two packets each of sriracha and hoisin sauce. I swear I told them we were dining in so why all the plastic utensils? Anyways, we ordered their pho special combo (pho dac biet), and their broken rice with grilled pork. The pho broth tasted like water with the powder pho soup mix, and the meat was tough. The side of basil and bean sprouts was maybe enough for a small child, and they gave us a tiny wedge of lemon like they chopped the butt off, with more skin than flesh. Usually you'd get lime with pho but that's not a huge issue. The portion was the issue. I could probably get the same taste with those instant bowls of pho from Costco, they might actually be more fragrant than what we had at this restaurant. The pork was chewy and had an odd, almost gas-like taste. The best part of that dish was the broken rice. Overall, very disappointing. Take your time reading reviews (especially the bad ones) so you don't make the same mistake of coming here as I did. read more

I never really liked Pho UNTIL I CAME HERE!!! Luckily after a little research, we found Tea Monks. The parking lot was packed on a Saturday afternoon so I thought we would be in for quite an adventure just to find parking. Fortunately we were able to find a spot fairly quickly. The line was out the door for Tea Monks which can only be a sign that there is deliciousness waiting for us through the front doors. There are a few small stools to use while waiting but not much room other than that. Fortunately our drinks were up in a matter of minutes. The first sip was heavenly and hit the spot. I'm always skeptical ordering "green apple" because I'm scared that the apple flavor will fall flat but this one was perfect. I could taste the apple and the tartness was great. The iced coffees were a hit for the parents who had to drive after a big lunch. I highly recommend Beachin Boba.

But I did see how she was touching the milk carton and the handle of the Tea, and thought how the next person would touch it and it would be dirty.
