They are kind people, but English is their second language. Even if it was their first language, I've had a group of 7 and they tried to memorize the whole order. Anyone would have trouble with that! Of course they messed up our order, multiple mistakes. Please get a notepad or one of those mobile POS machines from Toast Wallet. The waiters can take orders at the table to ensure they get it RIGHT. Stop with the guessing game, it's annoying. You mean well, but this ain't workin'. Ohhhhh! The broth is really good here! When it comes to pho, it's all about the soup to me. I need the spices to shine and I like my broth a little fatty. That's how you know they're simmering it for hours and hours! I had the meatball pho, a childhood fav of mine. 10/10 They also have the best egg soda! Came here on a slightly rainy day. I needed to get some soup to-go for someone sick. I tried to get the smoked wagyu brisket, but they were out so I had to change my order to smoked Dino rib bone and oxtail pho. Service is always nice. It was pretty empty today so they had plenty of seating. I like how their ceiling is black. I never noticed it before. They gave me a huge smoked Dino rib. My smoked oxtail had only 2 pieces. When I dine-in they usually give me 3 pieces, but maybe it's because the Dino rib was so large or maybe they ran out. I'm not too sure. We have been to Pho House in Vista a couple times to dine in and have also done takeout. They have not disappointed so far. The dinning room is open, well lit, and kept very clean. The staff has been very pleasant every time we've visited either to eat in or for takeout. The simple menu offers good choices for everyone. So far my favorites have been the chicken fried rice, made with dark meat, and the chicken wings. The BBQ Bahn Mi sandwich is another house favorite. I definitely recommend Pho House. read more

This is by far, the best pho place in Vista right now. I went here after finding out I had the flu and really needed some TLC since I wasn't able to eat anything other than pho or soups. This was close by so my husband and I decided to try something new. The location is in a pretty big plaza, it's off to the side with its own parking section. They served waters right away and asked us for our order fairly quickly. I got the #13 regular pho, which was a combo of everything (all meats). My husband got the BBQ Beef Banh Mi. The soup came out really fast, like maybe within 5 minutes of ordering. It was hot, steaming and even walking into the restaurant; the flavors smelled wonderful. I did my trusty authentic broth taste taste without any hoisin sauce and sriacha, and to my surprise; the soup was FANTASTIC. It was so flavorful, I'd have to say it was the best soup broth I've had in a long time. Very generous with portions too: lots of noodles, lots of meat, and soup almost filled to the brim! My husband said the beef bbq banh mi was also very yummy! Bread was perfectly crispy and the flavor of the meat was good as well. Though just for one bowl of pho, a banh mi, and a hot ginger lemon tea costed us almost $40 (without tip). It's not very cheap for a pho place, but I see myself coming here every now & then. When my husband called the second time to complain and request a refund, THEY TRIED TO DENY THE ENTIRE THING and proceeded to ARGUE with him, asking him to come back AGAIN. Mind you, he had already been there TWICE to get our order corrected. They could SERIOUSLY improve their phone order system. I let it go and continued ordering my favorite dish which ive ordered so many times but recently had it prepared completely different. I called and one of my favorite hostess apologized and offered to give my money back. I ordered it again and it was made completely different again. No flavor and the sauce had no flavor again. I called and told the hostess that it was made completely different again. We arrived on an overcast morning and were greeted by our server.
