This place is my go to for Pho, Banh Mi or Vietnamese Ice coffee. Every time I get the Banh mi , the bread is crispy, the meat is tender and the service is always good and friendly! Their prices are also very reasonable and it is located in a food court that has a nice outdoor setting. You can eat inside or outside. read more

My husband and I came here for lunch on a Friday. There were quite a bit of people having lunch but there were no lines into most of the eateries in the area. We opted to grab lunch at Pho Central. I was going to order pho but I thought I'd order something different. I ordered #21 - grilled chicken with egg rolls and rice noodles. My husband ordered #28 - grilled chicken with egg rolls and rice. It came out in a reasonable amount of time. The portion size was good. The egg roll pieces in the dish was the best part. The sauce was in the side, but it wasn't for me personally. I ate what I could and brought it home and added my own sauce. I do look forward to returning to trying their pho. read more

The restaurant is not big, only a few tables. However, you can choose to eat outdoor and the server will bring the food outside to you. We ordered a pho with just briskets, chicken pho and a broken rice dish with grilled pork and egg rolls. All came out hot and delicious. We ordered two Pho soups to go. We got the Pho Special Combo which has many meats, and a Pho Chicken. I liked the Pho Special Combo but one of the meats was not my favorite. Tripe? Try it, you might like it. My boyfriend ate the Pho Chicken and said the chicken was tough. We liked the soup flavor. It was the same base for both Pho's. They have healthy portions and we had leftovers. The next night, we added our own chicken leftovers and it was good. We would eat here again. We just have to try the other beef dishes. I'd give it a 3.5. It's passable for Vietnamese food. We had the Pho Special and the pork rice vermicelli. A fair amount of meat but not a very deep flavor in the pho broth. The most memorable thing was that they played the same song over and over the whole time we ate there, lol. The classic NBA highlights were also on repeat. They have indoor seating, yet if you dine in you're given plastic to-go utensils which is a big pet peeve of mine, especially when eating pho. This place has potential, and I genuinely hope the team takes the feedback and improves, because Vietnamese cuisine can absolutely thrive here in North County, especially in this area. We are on a quest to find our favorite pho in north county. After a late night, I was really craving some flavorful pho broth and Pho Central had good reviews. Located in a shopping plaza in an area that mostly has office buildings, it was quiet on a Saturday morning, but there still were people coming to get their fix. You order at the counter and then they bring you your food to the table. The cutlery was all disposable, but the dishes and bowls are reusable if you are tracking that sort of thing. (It was a question on Yelp lol) I had the pho with rare beef. I enjoyed it. Was hoping the broth would be a bit more flavorful, would definitely get it again. My bf had the spring rolls with chicken. The spring rolls were lacking pork and shrimp, but were refreshing. The peanut sauce was good. The pho broth was decent, but the noodles didn't seem fresh since they were all stuck together in a uniform square when served. The pork banh mi had fresh bread and veggies. The pork itself was fatty and didn't have much flavor. I would've preferred more of a bbq or lemongrass flavor to take the sandwich to the next level. The Thai tea was tasty. Here, I finished all my food and is STILL hungry. The com thit nuong is pretty good, but the pho was very bland. It tasted like water with a bit of sweetness. My sons bun thit nuong was just mostly lettuce and not very much noodles or meat. I guess this is Carlsbad/vista? They just don't make asian food catered to real asian tongues.
