First time here and wasn't exactly sure what to expect. The waitress was friendly but not very helpful. I always wanted to try Pho because of how delicious it looked on the Food Network. Looks can be deceiving. I didn't find the broth to be flavorful and the eye of round and flank steak looked like steak-ums. IF I try this restaurant again in the far distant future I will stick with the veggies, that broth maybe tasty. I used to like this place cos I enjoy pho in general and they're the only place nearby. I usually buy the Groupon prior to coming in cos it's a great deal; however, I stopped dining in for a while cos of the service. Came in a few weeks ago during my lunch break. I know it's open seating so I sat down and waited 20 mins till I just left cos no one bothered to serve me even after one of them verified that I was there to dine in. The restaurant was not busy either. A few days ago, I ordered pick up like I do with the exact same order once/twice a week. Pho shrimp and shrimp summer rolls. That day they forgot my noodles. Picked up before 9pm and got home after 10 so they were closed. My husband called and they didn't really care except they said I can have extra noodles next time. I've waited and supervised in restaurants before so I was very appalled when all they offered me was noodles "next visit" after I spent money to not be able to enjoy the meal I always order from them. When I called again 2 days later when I was back in town, I could hear the girl speaking to her manager both with an attitude towards my request so I said I'll speak to the manager when I get there and she said "that's alright he said we can give you the pho shrimp" so I let it go. When I got home all they had put in my bag was noodles and broth. Absolute no loyalty to customers. Is the business doing that bad that they can't accommodate their customers after their own mistake? It was really no big deal until they cheaped me out of a meal that I paid for in the first place. read more

I'm from Virginia and I've had a lot of great pho in my life , but after moving to Waldorf I can honestly say this pho d'lite was one of the best pho places I've been , the service was great everyone was very friendly and well educated on the menu , the atmosphere was very clean and the food was mind blowing , their butter wings are to die for , after my server gave his description of the wings I couldn't say no , I would recommend this place to anyone it's an easy 5 stars in my book read more

I loved this place up until lately. The food and service was never the problem. The food was constantly great. So is the service. My problem now is the up keep of the resturant. This is an all-around fabulous restaurant. I've dined-in and picked-up, and either way I've been extremely pleased with the food quality and the service. Even when it's taken to-go, the broth is always piping hot and deliciously aromatic! All of the people I've interacted with have been friendly and have provided excellent customer service. Their food is good but they seem to be a little over priced, especially for the amount of meat you get for pho.

Love this place and the food but the staff is literally terrible. We asked for forks for our curry and waited about ten minutes. The waitress forgot about us so my husband had to go get it. Ran out of water and the waitress walked to the other surrounding tables and completely ignored us to the point that again my husband had to walk up there to ask for it. Very good pho and wings. The device is good they are very kind people. I was annoyed by the people next to us that refused to sit down and have their meal, thy just kept walking around and bumping into us, but that has nothing to do with the restaurant. Maybe I went on a bad day? I had really been looking forward to trying this place, as the Pho restaurants in Okinawa were awesome...never been to Vietnam but I figured I KIND of had an idea of what I was getting. I ordered carry out, grilled beef vermicelli and an order of egg rolls, figured I'd try the pho next time. The beef was charred, and I don't mean it had that awesome smokey grilled taste, it was like.... Old... Charred.. Beef. I think the sauce they serve on the side could be spruced up. I can dig a hint of fish sauce but it was literally fish sauce with thinly sliced carrots in it. The same sauce that came with the mangled tiny sad egg rolls. Gross. No Vietnamese chef in sight. I just dont get it? Maybe it's me... I dont know if I even want to try the pho now. read more

The food here is always good. The chicken satay is one of our favorite appetizers. Me and my boyfriend eat here often, but today the service was horrendous. I ordered the pho shrimp, and got chicken instead. My boyfriend had to go up take the bowl to the server and say it was the wrong thing. She brought me the correct order when it was ready and I asked for a refill on my drink that I never received, and she never returned to the table once. My boyfriend had to go up and get the bill just to pay. Really upset that the service was so bad, for a restaurant with very few tables service should never be that bad. read more

This is definitely a hole in the wall spot but I don't come here for the decor or ambiance. It's all about the noodles and broth people. Don't bother with the chicken it's just not as flavorful as the beef. Trust me on this. I always order the create your own Beef Pho which comes with 3 choices and for me that means double up on the fatty brisket(that's 2) and then the tendon(that makes 3). While you wait, which is about 15 mins, your server will bring you a plate of sprouts, basil, lime wedges and jalapeño. Soon after a heaping bowl of delicious bone broth arrives, which you should know by now has been in the making for about 4-5 hours. Bone broth is serious business. I like to add the hoisin and sriracha to my broth first then I add lime, noodles, and the rest of the toppings. Now wait...wait a bit more for everybody to get to know each other in the broth before beginning your slurpathon. Using chopsticks is good for the brain so have some fun and get smarter and happier all at once. FYI...Carryout Pho is just as good here. Enjoy! read more

Moving from Florida to Maryland I was expecting to not see a wide variety of places to eat from my culture. However, I was proven wrong when I stumbled upon Pho D'lite. I decided to drop by with my boyfriends family to introduce them to some of the delights I adore - pho. They had an amazing time enjoying something new. We come here regularly now (at least we try to, especially when the weathers cold). The food has always been great (lots of meat in our P1). The broth could be better but the meats tenderness makes up for it. I would recommend anyone to come here, especially on a cold day where your tummy needs some warmth! read more

I used to eat here once a week when they first opened. Now I am a less frequent customer due to food quality, cleanliness, and service. The floors are filthy and the tables are sticky, sometimes with bits of dried noodles on them. The booths have torn seats that are very uncomfortable. Service isn't terrible, but it is very unorganized. This place needs a total overhaul of the dining room and the addition of a floor manager. The pho broth is cloudier than I am used to but it's hard to judge the food fairly when your hand is sticking to the table. read more

I used to love this place. I went there two times a week and always ordered pho veggie. Sadly, the service is bad! I see the people working there talking and texting and nobody is coming to my table to see if my glass in empty! I ordered take out twice and the first time the portions were noticeably smaller compared to the ones at the restaurant. The second time, the tofu for the pho veggie was missing. The drop of water that filled the vase was the last time I was there and the soup was sooooo salty I could not eat it. It tasted it like sea water that is how salty it was, so I said to the waitress I could not eat that. They told me that if I wanted the same dish I had to wait like half an hour. Pho D'lite. I think the "D" stands for disaster and disappointment. Nearly two years ago, my wife and I visited this establishment, and we were not pleased, so we returned this past Monday to see if they have improved since our last visit. We went this past Monday, after the lunch hour madness. Upon arrival, there was no "hostess" to greet or show to our table. Three tables needed to be cleaned. We were fortunate enough one table that was somewhat clean. A young lady, wearing a green sweater, wiped down our table and brought our water. I was sitting against the wall so I could see the whole restaurant. We ordered the crispy butter wings and Asian poppers as appetizers and two Pho D'Lite as the main meal. They were out of crispy butter wings, so we switched to chicken satay. When our pho arrived, 10 minutes after we placed our orders, we had no utensil to eat with so they gave us "take-out wooden utensils." Plastic chopsticks, wooden chopsticks, no problem as long as we get to eat pho. Some of my pho stuck to the side of the bowl. Our Asian poppers were overcooked, over fried and the chicken satay was dry. I noticed the table across from us, a young couple sat down for 14 minutes, and no one came to clear their table, nor take notice of them until the lady flagged one of the waitresses to clear the table and place their order. So, at this moment, I started to take notices several things: 1) a group of four customers who sat down, got up and left, from I observed lack of service; 2) two tables did not have appropriate condiments such hoisin and sriracha sauce, there is like no salt, nor pepper on the table, lack attention to detail; 3) one employee all he did was folding napkin and prepare the utensil, this guy could have helped out with bussing duty; 4) more tables needed to be cleared and bussed; 5) the couple's pho came but no utensils. They were unable to eat their food, and their chopsticks did not arrive until 10 minutes later you can imagine the broth is no longer hot but warm; 6) a customer set a $20 bill on the table, ready to pay and leave. A tall, slender blonde waitress came, took the $20 to the cashier without presenting the bill the customer when she returned and handed $5 and changes back to the customer. He ordered one pho, $8.45, added taxes, comes out around $10, she handed back $5, that is not right, talk about shortchange the guy; 7) the same young lady who wore a green sweater, I take the impression that she might be in charge because all the employees were wearing black. Anyway, she sat down and chatted with two other girls, one is an employee and the second one could be a customer or someone she knows. Phones were out and used, and there is a sign saying, no cell phones used during working hours. I strongly believe in making a restaurant successful two things must happen: great foods and great services. They are both equally important. If the food sucks, the customers won't order them or return. If the service is lacking, then you can see customers get up and leave like the group of four who left. The manager needs to step up and runs this restaurant more efficiently. Properly train the crews what their responsibilities are. read more

I walked in to order take out for my husband and I with our nine month old baby expecting to have to wait a bit for the order to be ready. They had it ready in like five minute! I sat down started to pull out stuff to entertain the baby and it was ready, I was very impressed. Especially because it was like 7pm. There employees were very kind and helpful. (This review is a little late) I went there over the summer with a friend. The food was good, wait time was minimal, pricing was good. My biggest thing is customer service. They were only attentive enough when we came in, ordered, and paid. Didn't really check to see if our food was alright. Consistently on their phones or just not paying real attention to much. This place could use a make over for sure, I ordered the chicken satay and pad Thai with chicken and shrimp so damn yummy. My waiter was very pleasant came to see if I needed anything throughout my meal. The only disappointment was the fact I had a coupon online for $5off if dining in. I was told the owner would not honor this since I do not have a hard copy. The food is always good here but, the carpet is always filthy. Very rarely do I see anyone cleaning it. I now visit the other pho restaurant on Allentown Rd. across from Andrew's AFB. The food is just as good and they have a variety of sandwiches and its very clean. read more
