Sliced beef rice plate with an added egg
    Anna M.

Came here for Vietnamese food. Parking was convenient and the lot was fairly big. We were able to sit at a booth and it was perfect size. I got the number 34 which was a rice plate with sliced pork and added an egg. Everything went well together with the fish sauce. No complaints! the iced milk tea was very sweet, also very light and milky. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also delicious and had a nice kick to it. Good place for Vietnamese food!

Very expensive, servings are tiny. We got the beef teriyaki to try, and it came with two tiny skewers that were dry and had a odd taste- disappointing

Love this place! We came here after having a nice long day in NH and driving back to MA. The pho was delicious (and speedy) and the service was friendly and accommodating. Love how the pho dac biet broth turned out, and the rice plate we got was pretty yummy too. The staff here are so sweet and quick with getting our family what we need to dine in, and the atmosphere (on a Sunday evening) was calm and relaxing. We will definitely be back!

Chili paste oil for extra spice

Came in for Sunday Lunch, good service, and great food. Pho - very good tasty broth Caramelized Pork (family style) definitely hit the spot, pairs great a big bowl of rice. I added in some of my husband's fresh pho garnishes (basil and jalapeños) and some chili oil paste And everything came together deliciously !!!#BOMB I asked for a small bowl of broth, and the server came over with it quickly and charged a decent price for it. Overall super satisfying Sunday lunch. Keep up the great work!

Cool fish tank. Bar area to the right (not pictured) and dining area seating to the left of the fish tank.

To be completely honest I was shocked when Pho Da Lat opened up in Drum Hill, making it the third installment of this restaurant in a 10 mile area. Pho Da Lat took over the space vacated by Garlic Bistro and I am glad they did! What an awesome addition to Chelmsford! If I'm being transparent I really never had been to any of PDL's previous locations. After wanting a hearty Asian-style vegetarian meal I perused their nicely designed website and I was thoroughly impressed. My sister and I decided to grab take out last night: #92-a vegetable and tofu soup (pho style) and #94, vegetable and tofu with flat noodles and sauce. Total was $22.36 with tax which I found to be completely reasonable. The takeout was ready after 15 minutes and was piping hot! The bag was also heavy- an indication that I received my money's worth (hey, I'm not hating that entrees in the US are super-sized). The bartender was very nice and professional and helped me with the takeout order at the host podium. While at the restaurant I was impressed with the remodel and the modern design and clean, sleek look. There is also a pretty huge fish tank that separated the bar area from the dining area. I definitely would eat in the restaurant next time. The food was still hot when we made it to my parents house and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. #92 was separated into a canister of nicely seasoned broth and a paper takeout box with the medley of vegetables and tofu and vermicelli noodles in it. There was also a small container with some kind of brown spicy sauce which was excellent and a clear bag of sprouts, basil, jalapeño slices and lime wedges. #94 consisted of fresh vegetables and some sautéed tofu over flat noodles and sauce. Both entrees were delicious. I definitely enjoyed my meal and ordering experience and look forward to my next visit to the restaurant. Check it out for yourself! Thanks, Pho Da Lat, you guys are killing it in C-town. :)

Prices are amazing for what you get (Lunch specials 11am-3pm), especially in this economy. $13 total with tax gets you a full entree + your choice of pork fried rice, fried rice, or white rice + an appetizer of your choice + a soup or drink. This was a complete meal that you can easily have leftovers of. 2. The speed of service was great too, food was ready in 10 minutes from when I called and was fresh! 3. There is a very accessible parking lot outside, made it easy to pull in, get food, and leave. 4. The lady at the counter was very nice from picking up the phone and taking my order to handing it off. 5. They provided as much sauce, utensils, and napkins as you requested, no cheaping out! Overall, I can't speak for dining in (seemed a bit small to do so), however getting takeout was a wonderful experience and I will be eating here again!! Also they have online ordering through their website and through the major food delivery services

The skin is slightly thicker than the ones I've had in New York, though they're still great. I never just order one thing here. They have a lot of variety with Chinese appetizers, dumplings, noodles, rice, and even mala hot pot. Do not pass up the braised pork rice bowl if you like hearty, authentic Asian dishes. I keep forgetting this place is here until the weather gets colder or I'm craving dumplings. Overall Service: Always so nice. But today's experience was sub par to what we are used to. I didn't leave the establishment because I was with others who wanted to enjoy the food. The first issue was we couldn't seat where we wanted, it had to be where the waitress or manager decided we were to seat. Not one client in the restaurant. Then she brought the bill before we requested no one was waiting to be seated, then refused to split the bill when previous times with a different server was not a problem. We split the bill to only 2 because thats all she could do, me paying for 4 people she denies my tip amount and says if I don't tip a 18% , theywill charge me $80 extra for a party of 6, again we were only 4 people. I am very disappointed with my service and treatment, unfortunately I don't know the server name but she is one that speaks more English. Will I go back and be bullied into tipping what they want? Probably no.

Where am I suppose to go for BBQ Pork Buns / Char Siu Bao buns ?…read more I posed this question in the Worcester FB group and most of them pointed me towards this restaurant. I've previously eaten here a few times, but I've never managed to stop by early enough for their Dim Sum lunch until now. As a side note, I cannot believe Worcester doesn't have ANY restaurants that serve these buns? Sounds like some enterprising individual needs to fulfill this void. I normally drive all the way to Joyful Garden in Watertown when I have a Dim Sum craving. Other times I will already be wandering through Boston before I stop by Hei La Moon. I came here with the expectation that I will get the same quality foods. This place has got a pretty darn big parking lot. I'm not going to count every spot on Google Maps, but it's about 50 spots. So it should not be hard to park. Walking inside, I was quickly greeted by the wait staff and directed to my table. I'm no interior design expert, so I will candidly say that the decor totally yells 'very Chinese' and elegant. I don't know man, just look at the interior pictures and you'll understand what I mean. If you've never done Dim Sum before, it can be very overwhelming. Someone with a cart will come by and you'll have several seconds to process what's available and say "Yes" or "No" through a variety of dishes they point at. And then before you can recover, another staff member will come by with another cart with towers of steaming baskets and you go through the song and dance again. I kid you not, in the average Dim Sum experience you will sit down and then have a table full of food literally within a few minutes. Before I knew it, I had 3 plates and 3 baskets on my table. The verdict? Totally delicious. I'm not going to talk about every dish I got and wax poetic one by one. I don't have time for that, and if you've been to one Dim Sum place, then you've been to all of them. I will give a few shoutouts for the sake populating this review with important keywords. Char Siu Bao bun / Baked BBQ Pork bun ; this is my favorite dish and precisely the reason why I came in. The bread is so light and the pork filling is so delicious sweet and savory. I'm in heaven Chicken Feet ; actually, I will note that the chicken feet here are not as flavorful as other places I've been to. This is a small nitpick because it still firmly lands in the delicious spectrum. It's the difference between scoring an A and an A- Random Pork Bun ; ??? I cannot find it on the menu, but I chose a set of 3 buns that were filled with pork. The bun style was closely similar to the chewy glutinous sesame balls and they were filled more yummy pork. I've never eaten these before. Shiu Mai ; holy sh** these are the biggest Shiu Mai I've ever eaten. I had an awesome experience here and I recommend it anyone in the area to give this place a shot if they don't want to drive all the way to Malden/Watertown/Boston/Quincy.

Typically, you are quickly seated with the server checking in immediately and providing hot tea for the table. This is based on 3 recent visits, and weighted by the last visit which was a disappointment. The neon lights outside beckon you to come in. It's a brightly lit dining room with round tables typical a large Dim Sum restaurant in Boston. Perhaps a little too bright, but there is typically a table available. It offers late dining which is great. The food is certainly very good typically with good sized portions at a good value. The pan friend dumplings a large, tender and a great value. The Hunan and Sichuan dishes provide healthy portions. Definitely very good Chinese food for the area. It is typically served quickly and very hot. The service has been mixed. On a not so busy night, we felt ignored. It took a long time to get drinks (arriving with the food in one case) on one occasion.

Both coffee and vanilla ice creams were good! They take turns refilling the trays by preparing portions in turn, so we had to be patient for the sushi area to be refilled. I was happy to discover no celery in the spring rolls, and scallion pancakes and crab Rangoon among the appetizers. Meats were tender and managed to find vegetables in with the entrees. I called to place an order of snow mountain sushi, beef and broccoli and house fried rice. I know every restaurant has their own spin on their house fried rice so I inquired what this included and she told me chicken, shrimp, pork and a mix of veggies like carrots, onions, peas and bean sprouts. I asked to exclude the pork and everything else was fine. I went to pick up the order, there is a large parking lot with plenty of space, nice front entrance and was greeted when entering the beautifully lit and decorated space from what I could see. The sushi was great, we loved it and would order again! The rice however was mushy, lacked salt/flavor and had no veggies whatsoever as I was told over the phone. The beef and broccoli was a bit too oily for our taste. I would order the sushi again but not the dishes I ordered. It would be helpful if they ensured the staff were knowledgeable on their dishes and what's included. Would have given 3.5 stars if I could!
