My family loves pho and they were very impressed as well. My dad, who prefers traditional pho, enjoyed his bowl a lot. He says he wants to come back. I can say with certainty that this is one of the best Pho places I have tried. The broth was so flavorful and they don't skim out on the portions either. Typing this is actually making me crave it! However, the star for me is actually their KBBQ sandwich. It's *chefs kiss* perfection. I had it here once 6 months ago and it stayed in my mind since then. We recently went to Pho DK and really enjoyed it. I agree with others that it is a bit more Americanized than other pho places we've been. They give you a lot of food for what you pay for! We had spring rolls and beef pho all the way around and left very satisfied. The decor of the restaurant was more modern compared to the normal hole-in-wall pho places we've eaten. This place was DELICIOUS. Handy location on Belt Line and Preston with a variety of pho and other Asian cuisine. I got my pho to go (the vegetarian pho) and it was packaged so nicely. The noodles/tofu were in the main bowl, a separate smaller bowl contained the broth and veggies (perfectly tender), and a small bag contained my bran sprouts and extra toppings (sliced jalapeños, sliced lime, etc). 2.5 stars, really, but I'm in a generous mood. Average pho place for Dallas. Very limited pho selection compared to more traditional Vietnamese pho joints. Instead of 10-15 beef variations (ribeye +/- tendon +/- fat, etc), there's only one beef. The broth is average in quality - not bad, but not amazing. Similarly the beef was adequate but entirely pedestrian. Service was fine, but it's counter service, not table service. Fast, efficient, but nothing special. Food was overpriced. $10 for a bowl of pho? Going rates for pho in Dallas are $6-7 for a large bowl. I can't believe this was rated so highly on Yelp. I can see from the reviewers that there aren't many Asians that LOVE this place... The only reason to come here is that it's close to you and you're too lazy to drive to a better pho place. Finally found a really good spring roll. They used real fresh basil, not iceberg lettuce or any other filler. The shrimp were big, crisp and delicious. The sauce was really good also, I spices it up a little with a few dashes of sriracha. I tried something called shrimp chips, they were like light warm rice puffs, but I guess it was made with shrimp. They taste good with hot sauce. The atmosphere here is very pleasant and the staff here are friendly too. I was offered a sample of the tea and after I got my food they came to make sure everything was to my liking. read more

The PHO Was good and I would definitely order again-but it could've used a little more flavor. The KBBQ Banh Mi was tasty and I thought it was very good too. I wish they had a shaking beef Banh Mi (Not sure if one exists) and I definitely would order it again. What was really good is their service. When ordering the food I had a number of questions and they had a lot of patience to explain the menu and make sure I understood everything. While you take a number to your table-they followed up several times to make sure I had everything that I needed and answers for any questions I may have had. To be honest, I really, really want to give this place 5 stars based on stellar service, speed, and cleanliness. Sadly the 3 star food and pricey mark up makes me regress back to a 4 star average. This place used to be Pho is for Lovers, and to be honest the only changes I can see are the name to Pho DK and increased levels of service. The menu and recipes are the same as they were at this location as is the decor, etc. The food here is average. The pho has decent broth, but not dynamic enough to be outstanding. Certainly not big enough or flavorful enough to be worth the $9-$10 price tag. I appreciate that they offer a veggie pho, but wish they included a wider variety of veggies like Apple Pho or V Bistro do. The noodles consistently seem tough and break frequently, particularly with take out. The steak pho is good, although I recommend you get it raw on the side to prevent over cooking. I've also had the grilled pork vermicelli which is actually the best thing I've had on the menu. Good size portion, the meat is well prepared and flavorful, and the sauce is on point. The spring rolls are good although a bit dry at times. The peanut sauce is pretty standard but I appreciate that it comes with a bit of heat. If you're like me, you'll want to order two and add some Sriracha. Personally I feel like the price point here is a bit high also. The service is outstanding here, which is really, really, really rare for this type of restaurant. The order takers are always informative and kind. If they aren't busy, they'll rush across the counter to pour you a water to drink while you wait on your to go order. I think they do their last take out order at 8:30 or 8:45. I've come a couple times not realizing the lateness of my arrival. Both times the staff has warmly welcomed me in despite being past 8:45 (but before close) and graciously allowed me to order take out. This is definitely a decent spot, but if you're looking for the food to take center stage at a more reasonable price point, I'd recommend 45 mint across the street. read more

Best Pho in Texas. Very clean restaurant for dinning in, friendly staff, excellent "to go" service too. Low sodium broth, traditional recipe (story told on website), very fresh ingredients and sides. If you are looking for something similar in a "true" Vietnamese restaurant, you should try Pho DK in Dallas. The only down side is it's the only location. My husband and I both agreed that this is our favorite vegan dinner option of all time! We eat plant based and sometimes it can be a challenge to find the food we love that fits our eating habits. We both have always loved Bahn Mi and Pho so when I saw their menu has a vegan tofu version of both of these dishes, we had to come and try them!
