Yuuuuuummmmmyyyyy! first of all, I literally got off the plane yelped and found this gem I was so excited to go because I love pho and my wife also (after meeting me) loves pho!!! We literally had to sit in the parking lot for about 15 minutes, waiting for them to open and we were the first in the building. Everyone was inviting and warm. They had a full bar, including a toppings bar for your pho!! I really love this especially because I like a lot of extra cilantro and a lot of extra lime and typically I have to say can I have extra extra cilantro and extra extra lime but in this case I just got it myself which is way easier I had shots I had a Red BullI I was literally living my best life and had fun doing it. I had potstickers and really good spring rolls!!! all in all a really good experience. Definitely will be going back to try other items off the menu. this was definitely a must try. The space was warm cool very laid-back not too fancy. Just a perfect balance of good food bring The Crew have a blast! Basically have a PHOKING amazing time!!

Awesome late night viet fusion with a twist! I hope this restaurant thrives for years. Viet Fusion is rather difficult to execute successfully but DaLat does it very well!! They have an amazing DIY self-serve salad bar girls with basil, Bean sprouts, pickled onions, and among other options to customize your entrees with. Their dishes are already quite good. The customization from the DIY self-serve salad bar takes it to another level. Deconstructed for was done well with traditional flavors onto egg noodles. You can sip on the broth in between a Savory but refreshing experience. The Dorito-viche is a personal favorite. It's almost like Tex Mex meets Vietnamese take. The filling/base is very refreshing with notes of Ginger and basil. I just wish the base was a bit larger in portion. Service was very standard and met expectations. Seating was quick and easy. No hassle. The place is fairly spacious and parking isn't generally an issue. Although parking is a little limited at busier hours. This place stands out for it's late hours sometimes closing at either midnight or 2:00 a.m. in the morning. Love it!

If I could give more than five stars, I would in a heartbeat! Da Lat is sort of a hole-in-the-wall rare find! They have very flexible hours, opening as late as to 2:00 a.m. in the morning on some nights. Otherwise, they stay open as late as midnight most other weekdays. Staff are generally friendly and will serve quickly. Seating is generally not an issue. They have an amazing self-serve Vietnamese salad bar that includes fresh bean sprouts, thai basil, cilantro, jalepeno peppers, pickled red onion, and more!!!! LOVE IT! We add alot of them into their main entrées. Dorito-viche: AMAZING!! It's a plant-based filling that is very flavorful combined with Dorito chips. You can even add some of the items on a salad bar to expand your Dorito viche filling. Deconstructed Pho: it's an interesting take on Canadian egg based noodles and stir fry with Asian flavors like soy sauce, and oyster sauce. They serve a side of broth that you can sip on in between bites. It's quite refreshing and a unique take on the traditional Pho noodle dish. Summer Shrimp Salad: this is a seasonal item. The shrimp salad is dressed with a fish sauce base dressing that is very refreshing and flavorful. We often additional bean sprouts and basil leaves from the self-serve veggie bar. You can have as much self-serve veggies as you'd like. There's no limit!

So I ordered tofu spring rolls and chicken fried rice from Dalat. The spring rolls? Fantastic. Fresh, light, crispy -- honestly the highlight of my night. Then I opened the fried rice... and immediately got concerned. No egg. Barely any chicken. But pepperoni. Actual pepperoni slices. On fried rice. I stared at it for a full minute trying to figure out if I'd accidentally ordered from Pizza Hut. I took a bite out of curiosity -- and yeah, it tasted exactly as weird as it sounds. Imagine someone made fried rice at 2 a.m. while drunk and thought, "You know what this needs? A little pepperoni action." Anyway, spring rolls: amazing. Fried rice: disgusting.

Beef pho broth was incredibly salty, beef was dry, and the noodles were overcooked. Potstickers were on the salty side as well. Spicy edamame was good. The place itself was a cute vibe and clean but I wouldn't come back.

Jimmy was awesome. Essence was A great bartender/server. She provided excellent service and recommendations.

If you want to have a relaxed meal, I recommend this place. Came to Dallas for business from Los Angeles. Came on a Friday. Walking in it felt very chill and casual. Not crowded and just the perfect amount of people to enjoy the place. It was a seat yourself type of place. I was acknowledge immediately and given a menu. Big points here. I decided to sit at the high top tables by the bar and the bar tender was so cool and recommended me trying the spicy edamame. He said I had to try it so I ordered. I also ordered the Chicken Pho with extra noodles and hard boiled egg. He also took my drink order. I did get my Pho before the appetizer (seriously not a big deal). The minute I tasted the broth, my eye rolled back and my taste buds went crazy! It was Delicious!!! The pho just gave me a taste bud orgasm. They also have a "Fresh Bar", which if you wanted more fresh herbs and veggies for your soup, you can grab some. For the edamame, it did come after my meal (again, no biggie). I now understand why the bar tender wanted me to taste them. They were the perfect amount of spice, not greasy, and the onion flakes on top gave it a good touch of crunch. Service: Truly, everyone was just so nice and attentive. Non-agressive, nothing over the top. It's just a nice friendly chill approach. The winner here was the bar tender, he checked up on me often and was just friendly. Great attitude and just approachable. Love it! Overall, great place, great service and great food. I look forward to making more visits to try more items on the menu.

Usually love you guys but the small siracha wasn't included. I don't keep it at home and I can't drive anymore due to health issues.

100% yes! We went to a Vietnamese restaurant a few minutes before coming here but left because the other location did not have a vegan dish. We looked up locations close to us and luckily found this spot!!! Upon entry the waitress told us to sit where we would like. She was amazing! Her name is Tiara. She was so friendly and cheery! There was a vegan option for me which was to die for! The location was clean and spacious! No issues at all. We mostly loved it because of the service. We will come back for sure!

After a long, exhausting day at work, we decided to order takeout since we couldn't make it to the restaurant. We were really looking forward to a comforting meal, but what we received was far from satisfying. While I understand takeout can sometimes affect food quality, we live just five minutes away--so that shouldn't have made a significant difference. 1. Pho - Every pho dish we ordered was overwhelmingly salty and lacked the rich, aromatic flavor of authentic pho. The broth tasted like it came from a powdered mix you'd find at a grocery store. For a restaurant that advertises authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this was a major letdown. 2. Spring Rolls - This was the most disappointing item. They looked unappetizing right out of the box, and tasted even worse. The roll contained an undercooked egg roll inside--something that made no sense flavor-wise or texturally. Comparing our dish to photos from other customers, it felt like we received a completely different item. 3. Tofu Salad - The tofu was so aggressively salty that I had to discard most of it. It was genuinely hard to eat. 4. Pad Thai - The seasoning was, again, far too salty. Worse, it lacked any of the nuanced, tangy-sweet-savory flavor that defines a good pad Thai. It tasted like generic stir-fried noodles without identity. As someone of Vietnamese heritage, it was incredibly disheartening to see these dishes presented as Vietnamese food. I have no issue with fusion or creative twists--many places do it well--but this wasn't that. It was simply poorly executed food with no clear identity or care. P.S. The only thing that tasted decent was the sunny-side-up egg on the salad. That was the only highlight in an otherwise frustrating experience

BUT our waiter recommended pouring the sauce from the stuffed leeks in the noodles, and that made them amazing. Don't get the duck- it was severely overcooked, tough, didn't want to eat it. The carrots were really good, it's a small serving The chocolate cake was the best cake I've ever had. For a restaurant at this level of hype and price, customer service is a key component. When we walked in, our waiter welcomed us quickly, he took time to talk through the menu, give his suggestions, and I thought we were going to have that special experience. We rarely saw him again the rest of the night. Random very nice people would bring us our items and let us ask for another drink, but our waiter seemed to be actively avoiding looking our way, wasn't the one to check us out, or say thanks and goodbye. It was just odd, I think maybe he was overworked. A relationship with the waiter is a nice thread to tie a dinner into a real experience from start to finish, just a thought. We'd definitely go back and try different things

We were seated at the bar, where a branded 'Happy Birthday' sign waited. From there, the bartender, Gabe, gave us a full rundown of the menu and offered suggestions for us. He could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable about each dish. He truly made the night feel special and even sent out two appetizers so that we got to try the dishes that he liked. Also, when we got were finishing up our meal and ordered the chocolate cake, there was a candle in it and he took our picture with a Polaroid camera to help commemorate the occasion. A small gesture that went a long way. The first dish that we got was the Kimchi and Gruyère rice fritters, which were one of the dishes that Gabe sent out and a great start to the night. From there, we ordered the stuffed leeks and the dauphine ravioli, both of which were fantastic and the highlights of the meal. Both must-order dishes. We opted for the branzino as our entree, and Gabe sent out a side of rice which paired with the fish perfectly. The only surprising miss for our meal was the garlic noodles, just felt a bit one dimensional. The chocolate cake was fantastic and a great way to end the meal. Overall will absolutely be back; we have talked a few times about what we will order the next time we visit.
