This place has an absolutely ginormous menu of options and typically that would make me take a pause on how good it might actually be. But everything I tried and everything my friends ordered looked and tasted delicious! I got the spring rolls as well as their Chicken Pad Thai, and both of them were quite delicious and well portioned. The peanut sauce that came with the spring rolls tasted fresh and really helped the flavor pop. Definitely looking forward to a return visit just to try many more things on the menu.

I've heard great things about Pho Dollar and we have been meaning to try it. We came on a chilly Friday evening after work and it was everything we were hoping for. I have to say this is the most authentic pho that I've had in the area. The broth was delicious and flavorful and all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. There were more pho combos than I've ever seen and it was cool to see so many variations. As like most authentic Asian restaurants the decor was very basic, the service was good and fast, the food was amazing and came in huge portions. We each had a bowl of pho and had enough for another lunch the next day. We also enjoyed an order of dumplings and a to go order of bun tin nang and it was about $50. Lots to choose from here as the menu is pretty large. We will be back again soon.

This is my go to spot downtown for tasty Pho! It is a hole in the wall, but the food quality here is super authentic. The broth you can tell is super flavorful and has been made to perfection! The service was super causal. Overall recommend for a good pho!

All items were delicious! The space is clean and warm. The staff are welcoming. The presentation for the vermicelli wraps was a cute DIY setup. More drink options would be appreciated! Will return for the fresh homemade food.

Exceptional place! Any Viet place that offers Hu Tieu Nam Vang or Bun Bo Xue, already must be a legit place. Most people know vietnamese food for pho, but I argue that Hu tieu and Bun Bo xue are probably superior in their elegant, sweet, clean tastes. This place also had banh mi- already another winner in my mind. We also ordered a rice platter which was also delicious. Hu Tieu is a Thin clear rice noodles with cooked pork, poached shrimp, ground pork, quail eggs, fried garlic, and caramelized shallots, served in chicken and pork broth. The caramelized shallots is what makes this seafood sweet broth taste sublime and this place does it right. I highly recommend this dish for those who love pho but are ready to take their broth loving to the next level. The Bun Bo Xue is also out of this world. A complex but beautiful soup that is pho but a spicy version. Highly recommend this dish for those who love pho but want something spicy The meat platter dish was also outstanding; a perfectly barbecued sweet piece of meat with perfect jasmine rice and the right amount of romaine lettuce; they didn't put iceburg lettuce which to me is just gross. Banh Mi was also very good; I can't believe we ate all these dishes in one sitting. But that shows it was a very enjoyable experience and we hope to come back soon. We came here 2 times in 24 hours because of how good their food was!

Quiet, traditional spot with friendly staff. Nice gluten free, vegetarian options. And when you say spicy you get it!

Pretty good spot for pho! The pho broth is really good and portion size for the price was affordable. The highlight was definitely the bahn mi grilled beef. It was nicely toasted and the only thing that could have made it better would have been more veggies in it. Perfectly cooked beef. The fried dumplings are a pass, nothing special and I wouldn't recommend it if you plan on trying something different. Lots of tables so walk in is fine. I would go back here just for the bahn mi.

i loveeee this place, and on special occasions (when friends are in town) ill take them here and make the drive down from north buffalo. the spring rolls are so yummy, honestly everything is - but my go to is the bun bo hue (spicy beef lemongrass soup) or the hu tieu nam vang. the iced coffee is also super good (i like mine more bitter). i'm also pretty picky with pho broth and this in my opinion has the best in terms of flavor. quick and friendly service always, casual dining spot highly recommend!

The best banh mi in Buffalo, also some of the most authentic Pho as well as delicious bun Bo hue. Seating and food is always pretty quick and have never had a bad experience.

Had lunch here today. Extensive menu for rice, noodles,…read moreramen, dumplings, soups... more. Five stars because everything we had tasted fine. I would have preferred steamed dumplings, but there was no choice, fried only. The taste was very nice and they were pleasantly crunchy. (photo) I loved the broth of the soup; it was plenty hot enough and perfect for cold and flu season. I would have liked broth only, and I asked if I could have without the rice noodles. Yes, I could, but the price would be the same. Okay, so I took the noodles on the side, to go. Even so, I was shocked to see the size of the soup bowl. It had to be at least a quart of soup, with chicken, wood ear mushrooms, bok choy, fried tofu. The rice noodles would have put the soup to the brim. Seems there is only one size of everything. If all of the soups are served in these quart bowls, plan on sharing with one or two others if ordering soup. They will give you extra bowls and spoons, as they did for us. Even with the two of us having some soup, I took about a third home. (photo) I had one of the Crispy Pies, scallion and pork. The filling was too thin or maybe the dough was too thick. Or a little of both. (photo) Employees are friendly and pleasant, eager to be helpful. JBC is a new and welcome addition to the Marshall's Plaza. Prices of some things may seem high, but if the foods we had today are typical, plan on sharing or taking some home.

They had a very large doorbell that went off anytime someone opened the front door. So with people going in and out for their to-go order , it was extremely irritating and I couldn't wait to leave... BUT! The waiter was so friendly and offered to explain any dish we needed to know more about and gave us a warning anytime we chose something really spicy. Great selection on the menu between curries, noodles, soups and rice dishes. I ended up with the Shrimp Dopiaza which ranks in one of my top favorite 5 dishes I have ever had. The flavor was amazing and SPICY, served with long grain rice, curry and lots of huge shrimp! My husband got the Special Beef khichiri which was delicious, lots of bones in there though so be prepared if you aren't expecting it. We also ordered 2 garlic naan because we were expecting a small idk, 6 in diameter disc? NO. You get 4 huge pieces per naan, practically the size of a full pizza. We should have split one but if you like garlic, this has about 2 cloves per slice. Its delicious! For dessert we ordered Gulan Jamun and Rasgulla. Oh my, it's like spongy donuts in sugar syrup. So good! Will definitely get takeout again! P s. You have you pay $1 for a bottle water if sitting down.

The cashier was a little gruff, but the woman running back and forth between the kitchen and the front had a better business sense about keeping customers happy. She didn't want me to wait long, so I think she rushed the kitchen a little bit, which I appreciated, but also may have led to some of the demerits on the food I mention below. I was happy to see one dish I ordered, the pig intestine with fish, on their picture board above the cash registers. That gave me confidence that they knew what they were doing and it was the best dish by far out of the three I ordered. The intestine was fresh and flavorful, the spice level was high, but also not too salty. It was a lot of food. Only drawback here was the fish (tilapia?) seemed to be heavy on the breading. The other two dishes were disappointing. Penang curry with pork had good vegetables, but the sauce had too little flavor since they went too heavy on the coconut milk. The pork seemed like chicken, not pork. Way too soft and flavorless. The Singapore Chow Mei Fun had good noodles and veggies. But the curry powder was not blended in. Eating it, I could still feel it in powder form. It was also far too oily. Overall, I think they had a lot of options but next time I'd steer more towards classic Chinese, since that seems to be what they do well. I hope next time the flavors will be stronger and blended better (i.e. powders actually stirred in). I'm willing to give them another chance, since they do have a lot of dishes I like. Last note: the online ordering service does not indicate that dishes come with rice. I thought they would have rice by default, but then when I added the penang curry to my cart, it asked whether I wanted rice or noodles or something else. So that made me think I had to order rice separately, which meant I had twice as much rice as I needed. It also said "quart of white rice" was sold out, but "pint of white rice" was not, yet the rice that came with my meal came in a quart container.

We were seated right away. We did have reservations, but we didn't see anyone waiting all night. We got lots of appetizers to split amongst the table: the mushroom dumplings, cucumber salad, one of each of the fresh rolls, 1000 broccoli, and some type of bread with cheese that I'm actually not sure what it was called and after looking at their menu again I can't find it, but I'm attaching a picture for reference. I would absolutely get the bread and the broccoli again. Those were our tables favorites. Everything else was still delicious. I got the chicken and broccoli lomein, large size, medium spice. The spice level was great. The portion size was very generous and I took home leftovers. I will say they do charge you $3 for the large size to get a mix of chicken and broccoli so be aware of that. The waitress did warn us which I appreciate. I did enjoy the lomein noodles. I tried our friend's hand cut noodles and udon. They were all great and everyone enjoyed their meal. Our waitress was super kind and helpful. With a large group she handled us very well. She even split the bill multiple ways which we appreciated since I know that can be a pain. They forgot our friend's rice dish so she sat there for a while with no meal while the rest of us ate. After a while we notified the staff and they apologized and brought it out quickly and even took it off her bill without her asking which I was very impressed with. Most places would not do that. They did also charge .50 for going up a spice level which was interesting but not a huge deal. Also be prepared to sit for a while. We were a large group so understandable things take a while. We were there for a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes and that was just from the time we sat until we got the check. It seemed like our waitress was in charge of most of the restaurant. Besides those few things that went wrong I thought the service and quality of food made up for it.
