Got Togo here. Wanted to try this place out. The girl at the counter said the beef isn't cooked for Togo orders and that I'd need to cook it when we get back to our place because it is wrapped up in the packaging for Togo orders.. I asked if they could cook it here. I don't want to have to use my electricity and resources at my place to heat up a food that y'all can cook. Yall trying to raise my bill a couple cents more? Lol And most importantly, when I get back to our place I want to sit down, relax, and eat right away not wait and have to cook the damn stuff cuz I'm hungry and if that's the case I could've just cooked something back at home without ordering food out at all. But anyways, I ordered the Beef and meatball pho soup and wife ordered the chicken vermicelli noodle bowls. We added pork egg rolls to the order, they were out off the veggie rolls. Food was really tasty and delicious for me. Wife said here's was ok. I think she had gotten a cold dish but mine was hot warm. It was a medium mild spicy which I forgot to ask if it was spicy and if they could do a mild for me. But that's on me/my fault. But even though it was spicy a little I actually enjoyed the Taste. I even poured the egg roll sauce in it and it was fantastic. I did NOT put the jalapeños in my bowl cuz I hate Spicy Hot! But overall I did enjoy my food. I will say I'd probably definitely be in here again for another order sometime soon. Girl at the front was very polite and kind and professional. I give this place full 5 stars. Good food. read more

This is a small restaurant off MacGregor just north of Gladiolus. Very simple and clean looking with a calming atmosphere. Really liked that relaxed feel. The service was quick and the little gal was helpful with the menu. The vegetarian Pho soup my friend ordered was great and I got the Banh mi sandwich (first time ever) and a bowl of soup with it. I'm not even sure if this pho place should even be defined "fresh," I don't think this place was authentic when it comes to fresh pho. The noodles were over cooked, brother was warm and not steamy like how the pho should be. I think I barely touched my noodle bowl as well. The noodles and everything were over cooked, it seemed as if they just microwaved everything. I do think the server was friendly so props to her because she was explaining what the food is to all the customers. They also don't have a lot of options for a pho place. I'm new to the area, but not new to Pho. I tried 2 other places first before going to this location (which is only a 3 minute drive from my condo). When you walk into a pho restaurant, you want to smell clove, cinnamon and simmering beef. This place smelled like Italian wedding soup. The broth should be aromatic, again with the anise, clove, cinnamon...but this broth just tasted like a salty wedding soup. As if you tried to make Pho at home out of your own pantry but lacked the ingredients, and went heavy on the pepper. It's the first time out of at least 100 bowls of Pho in a dozen or so states that I didn't finish the broth. The dining room was nice, and the service was pleasant. The prices were very reasonable compared to every other place I've been to. Their Large bowl was $13.95 where others charge about $17 for a large. Vegan broth! Local friends suggested this place while we visited. Hit the local dog beach and came here to satisfy our hunger afterwards. Everyone opted for the vegan broth. Some of us had hot tea. Some had appetizers. Not a huge place but the service was quick and friendly. No wait to be seated and we found a spot to park easily outside. The portions were fair for the price but smaller than our usual pho spots in Denver and Seattle. After taking the pups to swim in the Gulf and after the drive from Melbourne, FL it really hit the spot. Certainly a local gem and worth taking your friends and family to grab a meal. Quiet enough to have a conversation but bustling enough to eat solo and not feel weird. The wait staff was attentive but not overly pesky asking "how is everything" too often or dropping the check five minutes into your meal. I got take out and the Thai iced tea was so good, I almost drank the whole thing in the car. The tofu spring rolls were fresh and tasty, first time having them! And the vegan pho large portion was huge! I could only eat half. It's hard to make a vegetable based pho broth especially bc pho is traditionally beef bone broth but they did a good job! I can only judge this place based on what I ordered. Having said that, I did not get the main dish this restaurant is known for and that is in their name. I didn't try the pho, so take my review with that grain of salt. However, I can comment on the other dishes I ordered. I ordered the fried egg rolls and grilled pork with white rice. Both dishes were fine, but not outstanding. I felt they both lacked flavor and the pork chop was a little gristly. I will try some other Vietnamese places in the area to compare and see if they are any better. read more

Update: came for dinner and ordered pho rare steak w/ meatballs. I noticed they don't give you much rare steak, I think it's 5 pieces from what I counted and the meatballs are so small. Seemed like it was 2 meatballs cut into pieces. Wasn't very pleased but the soup was good. Also, when they give you the veggies. I got a little bit of bean sprouts and 1 jalapeño.... I had to ask for more bean sprouts and I kind of wanted more jalapeños since that gives the soup flavor but I didn't even bother. First time visiting this place, workers were very nice and welcoming. I ordered the pho rare steak large and it was good, only down side was I didn't feel like there was enough meat in the dish. Other then that, this place was good. Will def be back again. read more

Pho Fresh is recommended by a friend. We were not disappointed. As soon you walk in, you can smell the pho permeating in the air. The menu is fairly limited. Not too many Vietnamese dishes. But this is their strength, focusing on what they do best and try not to please everyone. A great business strategy! They mainly serve pho noodle soup, vermicelli noodle bowls and rice in clay pots. Tonight, we start with a pot of hot green tea and coconut juice. The coconut juice is more like coconut water enhanced with a little sugar and pulps. This is the best coconut water I had! We normally share an order of egg rolls or spring rolls. Wife decided to have egg rolls vermicelli noodle bowls and I ordered rice with pork in clay pot. So, we skipped the egg rolls appetizer. The egg rolls on top of vermicelli were exceptional crunchy and tasty with a pork meat filling. Mixed that with lettuce, carrots, cilantro, crushed peanuts and a side of fish sauce make it a wonderful meal! For the rice and pork in clay pot, it blended with sliced bamboo shoots, mushroom, shrimp and Chinese sausage or lap cheong. I requested extra Chinese sausage and that was a good decision. I can smell the Chinese sausage as I was folding the rice and ingredients together. Love that clay pot dish! Will have the chicken, fish and fried tofu clay pot next time! The service is friendly and professional. The owner twice came over to ensure everything is in order. A great place for pho, vermicelli noodle bowl and rice in clay pot. So pho so good! read more

I've been to every Pho restaurant in my area more than twice and I can confidently say this is my favorite place to get Pho. The service is outstanding. Wonderful staff. Delicious food, everything I have tried here thus far is absolutely divine!! My go to is the Fried Tufo Pho with meatball added, it is beyond amazing. I finish ever last bite and ever last drop of broth. Today, my egg rolls were lacking but my server and the owner were quick to resolve the issue. I really appreciate that they see the importance of customer service here at Pho Fresh. I go to many different asian/Pho places and I noticed the service is absolutely horrible, rude, quick and overpriced! Even if the food is tasty it completely ruins my experience as a whole. Too bad we didn't have a good experience here at all because the server was very quick and efficient and the owner seemed very nice. The interior was simple and clean and the owner was very accommodating when I decided to change my order two mins later I placed an order. The pho soup was just ok but very little beef meat in it and the chicken pho chicken was so hard to chew that my girls spit them out after a while. The summer and spring rolls seemed like it's been made and sitting there for a while and it wasn't tasty at all. Very blend and packaged food taste-like. The pork clay pot dish however was the worst. Pork meat was so dry and hard (it came with 2 shrimps on top which was so orange and tasteless) and very chewy. The fried rice had a weird taste and pretty gross to eat, which after 3 bites I decided not to eat. I asked them to take it away and told them I didn't like it. We still paid $10 for that dish, which I was ok with but it would've been nice if they took it off of our bill since I barely ate it. Like I said, it was a nice restaurant with nice people. l want to reach out to the owner of this business about my experience when l visited on 12/21/2020 at 5:30pm to 6:20pm. My husband and l dined in at your restaurant to eat and just have a peaceful dinner. But instead, we felt like we had a debate with your wait staff and the cook in the back (kitchen). all because of my request of not adding "Cilantro" in my Pho seafood. When the waitstaff served me my Pho, I could taste cilantro. l tried fishing those green things out of my dish instead of having them sent back in the kitchen and have it redone. But the taste of the cilantro was in the soup itself, so l called the wait staff and told her about it. She took the food back to the kitchen and we could hear the chef raising his voice, and saying " l made sure there was no cilantro in that soup" The waitress then came back with my same old soup and said, the leaves are not cilantro they are culantro!. l told them that it still tasted like a cilantro. After she made it clear that nothing was going to be done about it, l looked it up online and read they are not from the same plant BUT they have similar aroma and flavor. l thought if you are a "cook" or "chef" you're supposed to have a good palate for taste. Now how can he not know how those two plants have the same taste?. Bottom line is, your staff did not correct the mistake, they served the same bowl they served me in the beginning, they even brought out culantro and cilantro in a small dish to show me the difference of those two plants- did they think that i just didn't like the shape of the leaf? l hope by now they realize that it's the taste that l didn't like, not the shape of the plant. Part of the reason that me and my husband went out to eat at a restaurant was to support local businesses. In the middle of a pandemic, at a time when customer loyalty is more important than ever, it is hard for me to imagine how a restaurant can afford to debate with a customer over the technical name of a plant, instead of simply making another dish. There were no other customers. Neither the chef or the wait staff were busy at the time. And quite clearly I had a real reason not to be satisfied with the dish. At that point, is it really worth refusing to satisfy the customer over a technicality? The bottom line is that I did not eat the dish. I went home hungry. And we most certainly did not have a good time. We pay money at a restaurant to relax and have a good meal, not argue with the staff. By the way, we paid full price for the meal. read more

INCREDIBLE!! Some of the best Pho I have had. Absolutely the best Pho in Ft Myers. We got a vegan pho, seafood pho, Supreme pho and cheese puffs. When they brought the pho the chef ran out and grabbed the vegan pho before it was set down. She explained they had used the broth but fixed it before the vegan had it. It's awesome that she did that and didn't ignore a mistake. Seafood pho was packed with seafood! Cheese puffs was obviously homemade and better than any Rangoon I've had. Perfect day to eat hair. This place is right down the road from me, so I eat here often without a problem. The Banh mi is a traditional classic, and my usual order. A favorite of many others too, as it is well executed; however on my recent visit I received a long black hair in my sandwich. Pho Fresh has been one of my favorite places to eat Pho Soup! Modern and inviting exterior in a popular plaza off McGregor in Fort Myers FL. The restaurant is clean and tidy. The staff was warm in greeting us, quick service, and always willing to accommodate requests. The atmosphere is crisp and clean with white table cloths. They have nice simple flower decor. Chairs are a bit stiff and the restaurant doesn't have booths. The pho here has been the best I have tasted in Fort Myers so far. They have a sharp, fresh, and delicious flavor to their soup unlike other pho I've tried in the area. The herbs, sprouts, sides, etc were delicious and juicy. The prices are reasonable. Impromptu lunch with my friend Laurie When she said, "would you like to have some of the BEST Pho I've ever had?" .... how could I say no?? I love Pho Pho Fresh is located on South McGreggor in the old Kmart plaza; tucked next to a Chinese restaurant & Greek restaurant. You can smell the beautiful bouquet of 5 Spice coming from the door as you walk in from the parking lot. Clean simple ambiance & super friendly server Robin is helpful in every way! We shared a Thailand coconut water; it had yummy bits of coconut pieces to enjoy while you sipped and a nice iced green tea that was brewed just right. Laurie ordered the Chicken Pho (regular size) and I ordered the Vegan Pho (lunch size). Robin gave us a tip on ordering Pho for the future, ask for the beautiful mushrooms & Napa cabbage to be added because unless you get the Vegetarian Pho, it's not accompanied. Great tip Robin!! (And yes, we both had that in our soup) OMGoodness I think I'm in Pho-licious Heaven!! Since my Pho stock was Vegan I was a bit skeptical; but no! This stock had been steamed with awesome Asian spices for hours and then married with onions, cabbage, mushrooms, tofu, scallions, cilantro and noodles + a side of limes, jalapeños, bean sprouts and fresh basil for your liking! Since I'm a spice girl, I also added a nice dollop of Siracha + a splash of Hoison Sauce. Pho-Tastic!! Simple menu; Pho, Vermicelli, and some clay pot items. Great value as nothing was over $10 that I can remember seeing at lunch! Oh yes, they do have a lunch special as well; check the electric board.
