Our favorite Pho spot in queens! The food and service here are great- we recommend the grilled chicken pho (pictured), the fresh eye of round pho (pictured) and the shrimp lo mein, the spring rolls (pictured) and summer rolls. The servers were all quite friendly and the food came out very fast. We had guests over from out of town and they enjoyed it so much that we went twice this weekend! The ambiance is nice- the restaurant itself is spacious with booths, tables, nice decor and a TV to catch the Olympics on. 10/10! I have been to the Pho Grand on Grand Street in Chinatown plenty of times but I wanted to try this location since it appears to be their Queens outpost(?). The interior is pretty spacious with plenty of seating, very new and clean. Parking is somewhat tricky being Bayside, as only street parking is available. As for the food itself I found the pho to be just ok. The broth is not as rich as the one from the Grand Street location, and the amount of meat in the Pho Xe Lua (#1 "Big Bowl") is definitely less than expected. The price is also somewhat higher than the Grand Street location. I also expected the round eye of beef to be semi rare per the usual preparation, but it was already fully cooked when served. Overall I would come back out of convenience if I am looking for pho in the area but I don't think it is worth going out of your way for. read more

Awesome no frills Vietnamese spot on Bell Blvd. I frequent here for a big bowl of beef pho or the grilled chicken dishes. I love the fact that the Vietnamese coffee is slow drip. I ordered the grilled shrimp banh mi! I liked it. The shrimp was tender. I was surprised that the inside of my baguette was cole slaw (cabbage and a bit of carrot). Maybe it's their own variation, but it was tasty. I thought it would have cilantro, mayonnaise, and julienne carrots soaked in sweet vinegar brine. I guess there is always room to try new things. My friend ordered the pho, and it was decent. I thought it was an average sized amount of pho, and she liked it. One downside is that it is packed in here. Very popular around dinner time. I recommended pho grand to my family for delivery today and got scolded. My aunt could not eat her grilled chicken rice, she said the rice was hard and half cooked. I thought she was exaggerating so I took a bite and just said ohhh.... It was not edible. She was not exaggerating. You can not digest the rice, I would not even give this rice to my dog!!! I dont know how they could mess up rice. Her chicken was cardboard, so stiff.z The big bowl pho, at best, is a regular bowl. How is this a $15 bowl of pho? This was the most disappointing meal ever. Portion is too small. My family has lost their trust in me to pick food places now. Everyone was still hungry after eating the pho and usually they can't finish their food. Choose elsewhere for Viet. Best pho in the area hands down!. Porkchops fire! the meat sizing is always on point and always big/thin and never burned or charred. The broth is the best! I ordered food to take home on a weekday evening. I did not order the pho, which was perhaps the mistake. I mean, the food was fine, but our latest meal will not be something I remember. The eggrolls were a little mushy, but my kiddos ate them. The popcorn chicken was a notch above average with the breading. I would not get the beef lo mein again; it did not have much taste, and I wish there had been more textures. My family and I likes to go there everytime we are craving for some good Pho, Pho Grand is the place to go. everything is fresh and good. the only down low is the male server that is a little bit to comfortable with his comment to the guest there. we went there twice and everytime he served us, he always have something to say and comment and always not a nice one. we still looking forward to go there. Be careful when order take out from there, missing the basil bean sprouts lime and sauce bag(the soul and flavor of pho noodles) for both of my two orders, this happens last time when I order take out, and when I decide to call back, without an apology, they only offer me to come back to pick up the missing stuff, which I explain that it will took me 40 minutes to drive back, she sounds that my time is not a matter and ask me what would you want me to do, then offer me a credit for extra bag of veg and sauce bag when I order next time. I laugh and ask what do I need few extra bag of those for the 1 bowl of noodles next time, when I have to eat my noodles today with no flavor and veggies. The lady who answered the phone even told me that next time you should double check make sure it's pack with the veggies and sauce bag myself, that is your mistake, I'm a customer not a worker there. This is definitely a good place for Pho in Bayside. The soup was delicious. However the service is not as good as when they are open. The staffs not as friendly or greet in the friendly manner upon entry. This is not one time, it happens multiple time and the restaurant is not busy. If it was busy, I understand. I remembered when the restaurant first opened it doors, the staffs are awesome, super friendly, energetic and attentive. Anyway I still like this place because the noodle tasted good but compare to PHO32 that are a little more friendly sometime I just want to go there more. The only reason why I went to Pho Grand over PHO32 is beef balls noodle that pho 32 didn't have. The ambiance is nice and cleans. I love that there are huge space between tables so we won't feel jammed together when they are busy. Bayside's bell Blvd features a ton of good spots. Having a pho spot here was chefs kiss. The place is spacious. The menu comes stacked with the staples. I had a #1 Xe Lua which is the combination pho. It hits the spot. It didn't blow my mind, get my ancestors bow of approval good, but for bayside, queens, I'm giving this a thumbs up. They also offered us a generous amount of pho accoutrement (bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime, jalapeños). Others in our party had the pork chops, which were marinated in a tasty sauce and grilled. Both went paired well with either rice or noodle soup. Side note they have a Clean spacious bathroom with a pull down changing table, but I wish it was more than just a 1- person WC for the whole restaurant. There was usually a wait. Not very good and made us wait 15 minutes for a check. We had to ask three times for a check and the man was just walking around and waiting to other tables. I ordered the grilled pork chop Pho, came with two large piece of grilled pork chop $12.25. What a awesome price for the overall portion. The broth was on point unlike other places I didn't have to drink much water afterwards which was a plus. The noodles were on point. My husband order the big bowl Pho $13.25, the bowl was huge to me, he seemed to enjoyed it very much, he finished the whole bowl. Service of the place seemed like a typical Chinese restaurant, they didn't pay much attention. We ordered the food and they just brought it over. It was awkward that they just stand there and stared us down as we eat, we weren't the only table that was occupied, there were four other tables around us which were greeted as they arrived.
